Thorn: the rouge steped law into mistclan territory, thinking that they didnโt know she was there she kept on walking not really worried if she was attacked she purred and climbed a tree.

stormstar replying to smokeclaw leader's den Stormstar had just been sitting silently in his den, staring at the walls of the cold cave-like structure he called his den. In his mind he was organizing how his time was going to be spent today. He had already spent his fair share of time hunting alone, helping Swiftwing organize one or two patrols, socializing and solving issues with some clan cats, and all other leader duties. There was really nothing left to do but wait for someone to need him. His mate and children seemed too busy so he left them alone. Simply put, he was bored. Too tired to hunt and converse in large groups but not tired enough to sleep. Perhaps it was his somewhat old age kicking in.
"Am I really a good enough leader?" he thought. He remembered that there was a reason why Fernclan's leader before its demise had chosen Stormstar - Stormgaze at the time - as deputy. He felt bittersweet when thinking about the old clan. It was true that he had led some cats who feared for their life out of there, but was that really good enough? His time as a leader was... weird. He seemed to only socialize on randomly picked days and whenever someone else approached him first. Stormstar was supposed to be friendly and open to his clan, but he just found it hard sometimes. It was too bad, really. Oh well. Stormstar was going to be retiring to the elders den in a year or so. He wondered if life there was going to be better.
"I guess I could just go-" the tom's thoughts were cut off by the voice of Smokeclaw. He snapped out of his strange "trance" of staring at the stone walls. Smokeclaw, a warrior of great strength and responsibility, was here. "Smokeclaw would make a good leader. Maybe Swiftwing will appoint him as deputy when my time comes," he silently thought to himself. The gray tom meowed with a mostly monotone voice, "Come in. What do you want to talk about?" He quickly groomed his fur, trying to seem busy. It would've been weird if a warrior had come in just to see their leader staring blankly at a wall.
Stormstar spoke before Smokeclaw could, "Is your shoulder getting better?" He had noticed the tom limping in and out of the medicine cat's den before, so he thought that a nice thing to do was check up on him. He wondered what Smokeclaw was here for. The tabby wished and didn't wish that there were an easy problem to solve. An apprentice argument over something stupid, for example. He was worn out but at the same time he needed something to do and this would be good.
(sorry it's not more, i wasn't really sure what to write x_x)

๐ปPuppydawg๐ป Frostwhisker sat in a quiet corner in the camp, the slight breeze rippling her snowy fur. She liked to hide in dark places, spots where she could be all her own, no one to bother her or take away the quiet serenity that she dearly loved. It was her best friend, for she truly had no real life friends, she would pretend sometimes that she did, just for fun, but in reality she was all alone in a quiet room. She didn't really mind though, for she often got herself embarrassed when she tried socializing with other cats. Frostwhisker sat near the entrance to the camp, so she could feel like she was doing something at least. I mean, she couldn't fight off any invaders even if she tried to, she was blind, so it was pretty much useless. But it made her feel good anyway, like she could actually do something for the clan rather than just sitting there like an elder, doing nothing. She wanted to provide the clan with her strength and skills she knew she had, but she couldn't ever be able to do that because of her blindness. She was used to the blindness, she could walk around and maybe catch a couple things but nothing more. Just then, a strange, unfamilar scent touched Frostwhisker's nose. It had a strange tangyness to it, unlike her fellow clan mates. She stood up slowly, her back arched low as she took careful steps closer to the supposed intruder. The tangyness of the scent filled her nose, giving her the urge to sneeze. It was so powerful, so strong. Frostwhisker stopped as the scent was too strong for her to get any closer. Must be a kittypet or rogue. She thought, arching her back lower in hostility. "Who are you and why have you come into our clan?" Hissed Frostwhisker. What if it isn't a cat? It could be a badger or fox! Frostwhisker froze as she realized this. Maybe that's why the smell is so strong, so sour. She felt the urge to panic and yowl and yelp and run around helplessly, seeking someplace safe, but she stayed firm, planting her paws into the dirt.

Hissing thorn said โIโm thorn, a rougeโ and she stared hard at the warrior โwho are youโ she hissed again violently. She scratched her paw into the dirt, no caring at all of what the warrior thinks or her presence in the territory.

Greyfox replying to Littlepaw.
To be honest, he never expected another cat to take interest in his fishing obsession. It was a normal enough thing, and common to be pretty good at fishing, he supposed; so he hadn't been talked to about his fishing before. With perked ears and his tail swaying back and forth in a lazy motion, it was rather clear that he was quite comfortable in the situation.
"Fishing claws," he repeated, flashing his sharp teeth for a moment in what could've been a mischievous grin.
There were no differences between normal claws and fishing claws; both were the same, it was just a matter of what they were used for. But, hey, fishing claws sounded far cooler than just plain old claws, and so he was content to continue saying it. He highly doubted that even if another warrior called him out he would stop; he was just that sort of cat, he supposed. Greyfox was perhaps a little too interested in gaining the attention of others, always trying to seem cooler than he actually was. It seemed to be working on the apprentice in front of him, though he couldn't be entirely sure. His eyes narrowed slightly as he watched the younger tom, one ear flicking to listen to the sounds of camp.
He wondered, idly, if Littlepaw had eaten fish before today. He'd raised Cinderpaw on a diet of fish, but he supposed that sometimes cats gravitated towards certain prey and ended up not trying all of the different kinds. Greyfox's nose wrinkled at the thought of not eating fish - but it seemed that the tom was enjoying it, so he decided not to question him. Instead, he stood up and arched his back in a stretch, feeling something crack that relieved him. Then, he stretched his front legs out and bowed his chest to the ground, ears pinning as he did so. That was a satisfying stretch, if he'd ever had one.
Then the request came, and a little mrr escaped the warrior's throat. He remained standing and glanced from the corner of his eye to Ashdapple. Taking out the older tom's apprentice? Very tempting. It seemed that said warrior was in a conversation with an elder, and so, with whiskers twitching, he nodded his head to Littlepaw.
"Yeah," he said, "we can go fishing and catch some prey for the clan. Even if that doesn't work out, you could practice hunting techniques with me. I like to think that I'm pretty decent at hunting in general. I'm just better at fishing than I am anything else."
His confidence was almost entirely within his fishing - but he knew that he wasn't the worst hunter in the clan, and so he was satisfied. Greyfox wasn't much of a fighter; he could hold his own in a fight, but he preferred not to. He was a fast cat with even faster paws, with his claws being used to hooking fish and his legs used to running and climbing. Honestly, he preferred hunting - would hunt all day, if he was allowed. Of course, keeping prey alive was sort of necessary to ensure they didn't run out of it.
I wonder if I could feed the whole clan single-handed? he thought to himself, and immediately dismissed the thought. No cat could do something as great as that on their own; it was why, after all, they were in a clan. Not only was it a good sense of community, but it was a way to survive. Even with thoughts of being alone, Greyfox knew that he preferred it here and would always prefer it here. That was just how it was.
( sorry for eh response, wasn't sure what else to put )

Frostwhisker tried not to flinch at the hostility of the rogue. If this rogue wanted a fight, she'd be dead meat for sure. She couldn't fight off a rogue with their savage fighting style! She was blind, the rogue could easily slit her throat if it wanted to. Frostwhisker's pelt spiked up with the fear she was trying to hide. Deep breaths, deep breaths. You can't let it show! Frostwhisker shuffled herself a bit and stood up straighter, puffing her chest out to make her look bigger, like she could actually fight.
"I am Frostwhisker, a warrior of Mistclan." Frostwhisker started, "We do not welcome rogues into our camp unless they help us in someway, but I've never seen you around here before, and you smell as if you live far away." Frostwhisker took a long sniff of the sour smell that the cat reeked of, "Unless you have come to help us, I recommend that you get off our territory as soon as possible otherwise I shall have to bring you to my clan leader." Frostwhisker slid her claws out slowly so Thorn wouldn't notice them. By her understanding of rogues, this would probably come down to a fight.

Frostwhisker calmed down a bit, feeling the rogue surprisingly calm down. She attained her normal stance, but she didn't let her gaurd down, she kept her mind on the rogue, tracking the vibrations in the ground in case the rogue was going to surprise attack her. She slid her claws back in hesitantly. "Are you sure you want to speak to our leader? He won't like to be interupted unless you have business with him." Frostwhisker snapped, trying to pace around the rogue without the strong stench flooding her nostrils. "Do you have any business with Stormstar, leader of Mistclan?" Frostwhisker was curious to know. The rogue probably didn't, but it was an interesting thought anyways. Stormstar, leader of Mistclan, doing business with a mere rogue? No, he wouldn't do that.

Joining? Seriously? This cat is going to be such a pain if she joins. But it isn't my choice, it's my leader's. Frostwhisker curled her lip slightly at the impatient attitude of the rogue. This cat wasn't going to get anywhere with that attitude. A warrior must be forceful and firm, yes, but they must have a good manner to other clanmates too. Frostwhisker couldn't help but let out a small laugh, but it was only one second. "I'm sorry, but you won't be getting anywhere with that attitude. If you want to be a part of our clan, you must be kind to others." Frostwhisker explained as kindly as she should, to be an example to the poor mannered rogue.
Frostwhisker gasped as she felt the rogue's paws slap the ground as she ran away to talk to another cat. Frostwhisker blinked, shocked by the extremly terrible attitude. Are you kidding me? This is one of the worst mannered cats I've seen! Frostwhisker, coming out of shock, ran after the she-cat, her whole body reflecting pure annoyance. "Excuse me, you cannot just run away like that!" Snapped Frostwhisker, a frown creasing her mouth. Her tail flicked around angrily.

Frostwhisker's eyes widened as she heard what Snowshoe said. Her claws urged to break out with all the tension that was breaking out, but she shoved them in, she wasn't going to let them out. Frostwhisker crouched a little, showing some hostility. Frostwhisker sniffed the air around the other cat. Definitely a clanmate. But what was going on here? Why did Snowshoe recognize the rogue? Was Snowshoe working with rogues and betraying the clan? Frostwhisker's tail swayed, creating more tension between the group. "What's going on here?" Frostwhisker asked Snowshoe, her trust for the warrior fading.

beefsmoothie(Don't worry. My posts are probably longer than necessary so there's no need to match them. I just enjoy writing a lot) Smokeclaw had been lost in his own thoughts for a moment when he heard Stormstar's invitation to come in. The muscular tom dipped his head and pushed his way into the den, limping slightly. As always, he tried to hide it, but he knew Stormstar was smart and observant enough to pick up on his injury. He puffed out his chest as he entered the den, always trying to look his best, especially around Stormstar. Smokeclaw wanted to be deputy someday, so he was sure to put on his best when he was around Stormstar. "Oh-" he had opened his mouth to speak but hadn't gotten a chance to even get the word out before Stormstar started speaking. Out of respect, Smokeclaw shut his mouth and listened to the leader's question. He glanced at his shoulder before answering. "Ah, yeah. It's, uh, better," he replied. It was better - it just wasn't as good as he wanted it to be. The warrior just wanted to be out hunting and patrolling like he should be. Last night was his first patrol in too long and he regretted it this morning because of the pain in his shoulder. "That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about," he said, his voice strong and forceful. Smokeclaw wasn't the type to expose his weakness to any other cats. The exceptions were the medicine cats (the only ones that could heal him) and the leader (who had to make it their business to know what was going on inside camp). He sighed slightly. "I'm not sure it would be wise of me to participate in any hunting or patrols today, but being stuck in camp with nothing to do and nobody to talk to is driving me crazy. Is there anything you need done that wouldn't irritate my shoulder too much?" The tom took a step carefully, as if to let the leader see his shoulder. Though the injury wasn't obvious, there was still a small scar where he'd hurt himself and most of the damage had been done under the skin. It was still as if trying to prove that he wasn't lying. Of course, Smokeclaw didn't really lie. He was a loyal warrior, always picking up extra jobs around camp. So not doing anything was driving him crazy and he wanted to prove that he wasn't just trying to get a break, though the medicine Cat could confirm that. He sighed. "I don't have an apprentice to work with and I think Willowstorm is getting tired of me visiting her in the nursery, so there wasn't much I could think of doing besides seeing if the medicine den was running low on any herbs. I thought it would be wise to check with you first and see if you had any ideas." He eventually sat down, taking the weight off of his front right leg. That was the injured shoulder. The den was cozy and Smokeclaw found himself almost jealous of Stormstar. While he did want to be leader one day, he'd need realized how big of a plus the private den would be. Smokeclaw was an early riser but he still enjoyed his sleep, so young warriors that kept him up all night drive him crazy. He'd usually just quiet them down with a few sharp words, but that didn't help the sleep he'd already lost. He shook his head to clear those thoughts away as he turned back to his leader. "Anyway, I hope you don't mind me bothering you, Stormstar," Smokeclaw began. He'd assumed his leader was doing something important. "I just figured I'd see if there's anything I can do to help the clan while I'm injured." Smokeclaw was one of those cats that always had to be Doug something. He wasn't content to just sit around and enjoy the warmth of the sun on his thick and scarred pelt. If it's productive, that's even better. But that's why this injury was causing him so many problems. (I'm sorry I've had like no muse all day and I'm exhausted so replies are taking a lot longer than expected)
