Labradorite bowed her head in thanks, much like a Pearl would do her master, and headed inside the ship. It was best to show Galaxite the upmost respect almost all the time she was with her. She looking around the inside of the ship, taking in every little detail, she wanted to make sure she was familiar with the ships interior since it had been quite some time since she had entered one, the last time was with a cranky Peridot to examine the inner workings and report it back to Yellow Diamond.

(The feel when AP classes take up all of your free time T ^ T )
Galaxite raised an eyebrow at the gesture, though she quite enjoyed it. She followed Labradorite inside and shut the door behind them. "I always pilot." She eyed the ship--spherical, common, intended for a small crew. It would do fine as a transport. "I prefer my own ship, but they wanted you on an 'official' one." She sat at the captain's chair and placed a hand on the console. "Funny how they don't trust the gem they appointed as your bodyguard..." Not that she wanted or expected to be trusted, but she'd never had a role like this before.

(Feel ya, just get on when you can and don't stress about getting on <3)
Labradorite hummed in agreement, not really liking how sleek the ship seemed. "I wouldn't have minded your ship, just so you know but if the diamonds decreed this ship, this ship it is." She commented, walking over to where Galaxite was now piloting the ship and looking curiously at the controls, they seem quite advanced and she didn't know what to do so she was quite releaved that Galaxite knew what she was doing. "That is odd, maybe they wanted us to appear like we are some of the elites?"

(No problem. Life and school just ran me over with a truck, so I feel you.)
The Labradorite was agreeable, intelligent, reverent...Galaxite could hardly believe it. A Homeworld Gem...that she didn't mind? Stars, she hoped she didn't end up liking the gem by the end of the mission. Then she actually thought about the question posed to her and remarked, "The rebels expect someone from Homeworld ro arrive to negotiate. If they see a gem hunter ship land...well, it wouldn't be the first time a hunter's quarry decided they'd rather die than be captured." Gem hunters tended to do nasty things to their prisoners, and Galaxite was no different.

Gem hunters tended to do nasty things to their prisoners, and Galaxite was no different. Labradorite thought on that statement, she understood why the rebels would rather die then be captured by a Gem hunter, she was he stranger to the stories the others told and they were gruesome to listen to and she could only imagine how it felt to live it. That's why she was very glad that she never had to get on the bad side of one of them. "That is a very good point, I do think that's why." She responded, she breafly wondered why the Diamonds had send her on this mission though, she knew that she was good with words but was she that good? She wasn't sure.

(Ahh yes, school xp)
"I'm, of course, assuming there's a logical reason behind their decisions," Galaxite grumbled. Just because she had a lot of flaws didn't mean she was oblivious to them...and Galaxite was fully aware of her tendency to see schemes where there were none. But hey, a healthy dose of paranoia kept a gem alive. "So. Labradorite." The ship was underway, so she went ahead and kicked back in the chair, feet up on the console. "Exactly how are you going to talk the rebels down?" Her lower pair of eyes slid to look at the other gem, the upper pair still fixed forward.

Mmhhhm cx )
Labradorite, who had been staring at a blinking part of the ship's control panel, was a bit taken aback by the question. She really wasn't sure but she wasn't going to tell Galaxite that, she would probably just shatter her if she did. "Well I'm going to use logic and my skills of talking my way out of a problem to defuse those gems that have a death wish and I'm sure that it will work that way." She told her, using that particular skill that she just mentioned in her little talk.

(Aaand there was a hurricane. *facepalm*)
One of Galaxite's thin brows arched high on her face. Talking. Bleh. But at least the labradorite intended to think. "Have you ever been to Earth?" The next question told Galaxite how experienced her partner would be with their location. If she wasn't, well...it wouldn't be too big of a deal. It wasn't the type of mission where one needed to have perfect knowledge of their environment. She sure did hope Labradorite wouldn't get distracted by anything unfamiliar, though...organic planets were very unfamiliar indeed to gems who didn't travel.

It didn't hit to hard where your at did it? )
This the Labradorite could answer without me hesitation. "Yes I have, a few times at least. Not my favorite planet in the galaxy but we go where the diamonds tell us." She said, the dislike for earth evident in her tone. She disliked how much trouble the planet had caused but did realize that it was a valuable resource for Homeworld, didn't mean she had to act like she cared for the planet though.
