"It's gone. Everything is gone. Five thousand years ago, Rose Quartz died on the Gem Battlefield. The Crystal Gems lost countless lives that day, but they lost something else just as precious: their hope. We were certain we could win. We were certain we could shatter the Homeworld hierarchy...and shatter the four diamonds. Instead, it was us who shattered. Some gems still hide, trapped, on Earth. Homeworld hunts us ruthlessly. Some time ago, I would've said, stop cowering. Stop running. Stand up and fight. But there's no chance of victory. Now I say to the reckless, to the "brave", to the foolish: start cowering. Start running. Lay down and give in. Homeworld won a fight we had no chance of winning. This is Flame Aura Quartz, signing out for the last time. End transmission."

General Rules• This is intended to be a serious SU AU. There have certainly been some dark elements to the original show, but the overall atmosphere of a failed rebellion is dim and bleak indeed. It may not, of course, go past a PG-13 level, but it won't be a happy cartoon, either. • With that being said, follow all WCRP rules. • Don't spoil new episodes--wait at least five days before discussing them. • Most rules are common sense. Please have fun, be creative, and don't make me add more to these lists. Roleplaying• Again, common sense is your friend. • Canon gems are either dead, irrelevant, or a diamond, but you're welcome to have different characters that are the same gem. • Don't make duplicate gems of preexisting roleplay characters wihout the other roleplayer's permission. • Be on a few times a week. • I'd like to preserve Rebecca Sugar's method of using she/her as a gender neutral pronoun. While I can't really force you to abide by this, I always thought it a nice, signature touch. LiteracyThe nice thing about forum roleplays is that you have plenty of time to think, type, and revise. Typos are understandable, but all posts should be without constant errors. I believe in quality over quantity; post length is irrelevant and hinges on what exactly is happening at that point in time in the roleplay. Joining Page~

Earth After the defeat of the Crystal Gem rebellion, Earth became a known hideout/prison for surviving gems. Homeworld has set up several colonies for mineral extraction and scouts the planet regularly, often capturing and shattering anyone they discover.
Homeworld The four diamonds rule Homeworld. The word of a diamond is absolute. As of late, the hunt for surviving rebels has gotten so tedious that they now hire gem hunters--typically gems created outside of Homeworld's reign or Homeworld gems allowed individuality in exchange for their skills.

(Hm...Homeworld, maybe? Labradorite and Galaxite could be sent together for some sort of mission...that, naturally, should go horribly wrong, as all things in roleplays do.
Also, out of general curiosity, what did you two do on the WCF? I basically camped out on two small group Star Wars threads, and I quit a year ago because we switched to a personal forum...so I really don't know anyone Cx)

Labradorite huffed as she leaned on a wall near her, looking around at the gems that passed by her. The marbled gem was quite bored at the moment as she watched the gems that walked by her, sometimes picking up on the conversation with the gem next to them or a group clustered around. She didn't normally like being around this many gems at once but she didn't have anything else to be doing at the moment.

(Good thing I said I was only 87% sure no one would remember me cx It was probably me--I never saw another Redstreak. Mine also had a symbol after the word. Weeeeell, Red is my name and using my Jasper wig for everything but Jasper is my game.
Labradorite or Labridorite? It was both ways on your form.)
Galaxite mulled over the implications of her latest assignment. She'd recieved a request from Yellow Diamond (or, rather, one of Yellow Diamond's inferiors) to return to Homeworld for the details, and now she knew she was there for another reason: to partner up with another gem. Gah! Didn't the diamonds understand anything about the way gem hunters worked? Solo. That was how the worked. Solo. Nevertheless, she stomped through the streets of Homeworld, putting faith in the likelihood that she'd find the right Labradorite off the bat. And she did; the one leaning on a wall a distance away matched the description. Galaxite headed right for her.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that was you, and I wish I had a Jasper wig that would be cool!
I'm gonna kill my tablet, it's labradorite but it keeps autocorrecting me and I don't always catch it, I'm so sorry ;-; It does that because her nickname is Labri and not Labra because I replaced the 'I' for the 'a' in only her nickname.)
Labradorite looked over and let a little smirk appear on her lips as she saw the Galaxite heading her way, she had been informed by one of Yellow Diamond's little minions about the mission she was being sent on with a gem that has been described exactly like the one that was currently headed straight for her. Now to say that she was thrilled about this mission would be inaccurate, she was the opposite really, she hated getting sent on these types of missions but who was she to question the Diamonds? No one.

(I suspected that. Curse you, tablet! ...totally not typing this on my own tablet. I was! What was your screen name? o: )
Galaxite, with a heavy sigh, stopped in front of Labradorite. Apparently some of the renegade gems on Earth had taken over a Homeworld facility, only to be surrounded and trapped. They were threatening to destroy said facility if any Homeworld gems entered. Why a Diamond would decide "talk them down" was a better option than "forget the facility; shoot them down" was beyond Galaxite, but if they were willing to pay for a bodyguard to protect their talker, then they had themselves a bodyguard. "Let's make this quick," she advised. "Neither of us want to be here--the faster we leave, the faster we can part ways."

Agreed, I love my tablet and I hate it all at the same time. )
Labradorite nodded, agreeing with the Galaxite's words. "Shall we take our leave then, I suspect that the Diamond's have already got a ship up and waiting for us?" She asked, raising up off the wall and glancing at the crowd of gems once more before turning her attention to the Galaxite. She was glad that she hadn't got paired up with one of the chatty Zircons again, that was a nightmare.

(My friend mentioned a new website. Ahhh, nostalgia. It's a great copy. Is there any way for Pink Sapphire to be on Earth? I could use Flame Aura Quartz.
I feel you on that.)
"Aye, that they do..." Though Galaxite much preferred her own ship. She crossed her lower pair of arms, adjusting the dark heads-up display visor on her face, and turned to face the crowd. All moving like ants, with order, roles, purposes...which went against yet another one of Galaxite's preferences--chaos. It was easier to manipulate chaos. "Follow me," she grumbled, walking straight through the city area. Gems moved out of the larger gem hunter's path.

Labradorite didn't say another word, just nodded and followed the gem hunter through the crowds of gems, admiring how they parted for the Galaxite. Labradorite could only dream of gems moving out of her way like that, mostly she just had to weave her way through the orderly lines untill she reached her destination, oh what it must be like to be respected and feared by your fellow kind.

Galaxite, lucky as ever, was completely used to the convenience of having a clear path and seeing right over everyone's heads--at the moment, her four eyes were fixed on the nearby space docks, while the fifth on the back of her neck looked down at Labradorite. As they approached a line of ships--theirs idling and awaiting their arrival--she asked, "Do you agree with the mission parameters?" Talking instead of fighting, wasting time...bleck. The Diamonds were getting a tad desperate to defend their resources. Homeworld wasn't her home world, but the logical fallacy really ground her gears.

Labradorite nodded once again, speaking this time around. "Yes I did actually, quite a good plan if you ask me." She told her companion in this mission, wondering if she agreed, judging by her tone she didn't think that the other did to much. She had heard about this Galaxite's work and had heard how chaos seemed to follow the gems work, you could even look at the gem and tell she didn't like things organized, now Labradorite was stereotyping quite a bit but almost everyone did on Homeworld.

Galaxite wrinkled her nose, but she'd needed that answer--it gave her insight into how her partner might function. Many gems did whatever they were told without realizing they could have an opinion. This Labradorite lacked that dumb look in her eyes...that intelligence was probably indicitive of why a Diamond would select her for negotiations. Galaxite could've had a way worse client. Speaking of which... "Clients first," she said, stopping at the ship and gesturing at it's entrance ramp.
