I want his priest/priestess to be very chill tho. Like a really level headed cat that doesn't get into the fighting much. Like Mars would tell the cat to fight someone who spoke out against him and the priest goes to talk to the cat instead. Inside, Mars is screaming in frustration. The story can be Mars picked the largest cat in the litter without actually checking to see if the cat would be like him.

Do you have any idea for Hermes or Poseidon? I'm all out

Hhm from memory Hermes was always sort of the messenger of the gods, so maybe something to do with communication and travelling? I'm not really sure to be honest. Poseidon I'm really not sure about.

Maybe the cat for Hermes can talk to any god/goddess upon request?
Poseidon is also the god of earth quakes and such. I was thinking the ability could do something with vibrations.

Yeah that sounds good. Hmm yeah perhaps, that could work.
By the way, I'd love to make a priest/ess character for either Hades or Aphrodite if that's cool?^^

Are we referring to the gods as their Roman name, since this is a Roman inspired clan? I'm just so used to using the Greek ones, I'll need to remind myself to use the Roman ones instead

When we chat, I will use greek since I am most familiar with. However, I would prefer if, in rp, people use Roman names.

Not saying you will create, they don't necessary have to be evil-evil. I tried to form the plot so we didn't need to create 'I'm just evil for the fun of it' cats.

^yeah I like that, gives the 'evil' cats more character and more purpose

Okay. I'm off, but we have a good amount done. I would say we are almost done if not done. ❈𝓣𝔀𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓢𝓽𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶❈ Are you still up for making the layout? I know you said you were busy. I just don't want to be forcing you to do something you don't have the time for. I can work with a rough layout, if necessary. I have some experience.

Well, we still don't have a responsibility for the Poseidon Priest/ess, but that isn't going to come up magically.
I have made a form for anyone who wants to get started. I have decided to leave the length of the forms up to the individual. I'll try to make the forms neater later.
Name - Gender - Big cat Description and personality History/Relations Rank - SN
Remember that priests and priestesses have the same color and pattern pelt as their deities.

Okay great, I'll get to creating my cats shortly^^
How do we know what the deities look like? Or do they appear as their respective big cat? Does that mean that Poseidon's priest/ess, for example, would have the same pelt as a tiger?

Yes. The deities show themselves as their big cat. Your example was correct.

Urgh.. I didn't put age on the form. I don't think people need to specify age for cats in their prime and the ranks will be separated. However, trainees may be new adults and priest/esses can be young. I'm thinking of replacing gender with age, and age will be in three sections: kit, young, adult. Is this sensible or...?

I don't think you need to change the form; the cat's rank should give an indication of their age anyway. Considering all the cats are in their prime and don't age beyond that, I don't think putting age on the forms is necessary.
By the way, am I able to be both the Hades and Venus priest/ess, or should I just pick one?
I was also thinking about the ceremony mates have to undertake to get a kit. I know Hera is the one that delivers the kit, seeing as she's the goddess of marriage and all, but shouldn't Hades also play a role in it, since he's the one that brings the souls of the cats from the underworld or wherever, allowing them to live in the city? Or should we have it so that he does play a part in it, but the cat's tend not to appreciate his part in the process, only thinking of Hera. I feel like Hades is a very under-appreciated god for how powerful he is, so that might make sense. Could also give his priest/ess something to grumble about hahaha. I'm thinking of creating a grouchy character for his priest/ess

I would prefer you keep to the most common color of the species. I know it would make more sense for Artemis to have a silver furred cat because of the moon, but she would have a hard time stalking through the trees if she were silver. If she was black, they probably would assume she was a normal cat. Which might be an interesting plot, but I don't know. I think a god would just speak out of s/he noticed their representative was being ignored.
Well, as Silver mentioned, the cats will have to relearn everything coming to the city. A trainee could be a young cat coming from kittenhood, or a new adult cat who just showed up.
I would like everyone to only claim one priest/ess at this time, but after a few have joined/a few days, those who are left can be claimed since they are vital to the plot.
I was thinking of that. Technically, Hera wouldn't have the power to form the kitten soul and such. She would have to ask it of Hades. I imagine Hades wouldn't be protesting too much because he gets to make more creations. But, I think the cats wouldn't think of the crafter of the souls when they were delivered. They would just praise Hera, though I think that would be partly because Hera might get p-ed off if she had to share the credit. The horror I like the idea of the priestess for Hades grumbling about this and maybe the Hera goddess can feel defensive about it. A little rivalry would be fun.

Aah yeah that's fair enough then, I guess we might need to put age then.
Yep that's fine, I'll just stick with being Hades' priestess for now^^
Ooh yeah sounds good to me, rivalries are always fun xD

So, I tentatively named the rp The Legion. I was thinking the paragraph below would serve as the introduction. I need a better ending or something. It feels underwhelming.
The Legion was created after the Roman gods and goddesses noticed a rather disturbing lack of control with monsters in their lands. Of course, they couldn't keep up with the monsters. After all, they had much more important things to be doing. They would instead task souls with the duty of regulating the monsters traveling to the mortal lands. The immortal beings created a copy of the city of Rome within a realm of their own creation. Pluto, or Hades, gathered up souls to populate the city. The souls were of the domestic cat. He considered them independent and their numbers were vast, yet not prone to rebel, unlike some species. Pluto knew his souls could not survive against monsters in their current form, so he tied their souls to ones of big cats that died in the coliseum so they could transform when their life was in danger.
