Ember's face fell slightly. She didn't really know what to say to that. "Oh." Was the only thing that came out. It wasn't because she was unimpressed by his job, she never judged based on that alone. (though it would seem she did with a pop star boyfriend) She was really just frustrated that she hadn't thought of that on her own. Her smile didn't stay gone for long. she recovered quickly, "I really should have thought of that before I spent hours trying to find the segment."

It was Theo's turn to be disappointed. "Oh..." He looked dejected, but quickly brightened. "It aired the Tuesday before last Tuesday. I didn't really get to write up the script, they really just took my notes, polished it, and wrote in things that the public would want to hear. I haven't listened to it though." Theo typically stayed away from the gossipy talk of the show, it didn't much appeal to his interest.

Ember scrunched up her nose a little as she tried to remember what had been said on that station about her. She had listened to so many that week, it was hard to keep track. "I think..." She thought for a moment longer. "They really just mentioned my hobbies, some of them they had made up, and how I got where I am, also some of it made up." She always reminded herself before listening to the radio stations that they would try to make her sound more dramatic, or interesting. Ember almost found it humorous now to here "who Ember Riley was."

Theo looked thoughtful, then nodded. "Yeah, that sounds about right." It sounded like something the station would write, he wasn't just saying it to agree with her. "They really do try to appeal to the public. I guess it's more interesting to make things up than write what's really on someone's mind. Either way, I do suppose they keep the people listening. Not trying to brag or anything, but our station's pretty big..."

Ember couldn't help but smile at his honesty. "They can only get that popular by making up some things." She shrugged her shoulders, stretching her light grey shirt up slightly before she dropped her shoulders down again. "It don't bother me anyway. I actually find it amusing to see what people think of me and who they think I am. Ember Riley," She moved her hands in the air between them like she was reading a headline. "Stuck up pop star with rich supportive parents." She pulled from one of her favorite story lines. Ember stopped herself quickly with wide eyes. "Oh no! I'm rambling." She wrinkled her nose slightly to try to prevent her face from turning pink. "How do you like working at the station?" She asked him to try and get him talking rather than herself. She also wanted to stall from having to go back inside, but she knew that she would have to be meeting her manager soon. Otherwise, they would come looking for her.

I might have to cancel this roleplay, I can't seem to find the muse to continue it. Sorry!
