So I've written up a few species but to be frank they all kind of suck (except for the first one) so if either of you two newer people want to make some that would probably be better, lol

Here's a few...
The Vantusi, short little feathered griffon/lizard people from the planet Vant. They're highly industrious and with a racial affinity for being clever, but have a heavy prejudice against artificial intelligence because of when an AI attempted to achieve singularity and wipe them out early in their history.
The Thrrik, of the Delmar system. In truth, it is not one species, but multiple species of bug-like humanoids living in a communal symbiote that are susceptible to the influence of the far-reaching telepathic hive-mind of the Thrrikan queens. Those Thrrik that escape this hive-mind cherish this individuality over their own lives, while those still within value their personal skill and the sense of community. It's like, one species does look like ants, one looks like beetles, one looks like wasps or bees...

OOC Finished my alien species!
The Biks (a Bik) from planet Dakk:
Biks - Biks are a humanoid species. They have pointed, crested ears, and certain, color changing spots. Three on each cheek, three across the nose, three on the “third eye,” three on each shoulder, a few random ones on each wrist and ankle, stomach, chest, and back, and three on each back of the hand and foot. They have similar hair and skin colors to humans, though their hair can shift colors with emotions, much like their spots can, and their eyes can be any possible color. Now, the colors of their spots and hair will change with emotion, however, the Biks spend years training themselves to control this, to the point that only amateurs let their emotions control their colors.
Biks come from the planet Dakk, which only has three continents on it. A big one that is where the Biks live, and two others that are considered inhospitable due to the raging storms, freezing weather, and unpredictable wildlife. However on the main continent. (Named Sury), there are up to six different types of terrain. The first is a marshy wet lands, where the more barbaric Biks live, one with the native life. Two, is open plains and clear skies, this is where the most city life has begun to form, and is considered the capital of Dakk. The third is a bunch of hostile, sharp, steep mountains where only the bravest will venture. The fourth, is a large desert that takes up the third of the continent, surprisingly enough, many small yet advanced, desert based cities are spread out across the sands. The fifth, is a giant forest with trees so tall, you can’t see the top, and grass taller than most Biks themselves. This place, though few in cities, is home to some Bik’s that have lived there for centuries and know their way around like the back of their hands. The sixth and last terrain is a place full of large rocks and crystals, with numerous caves and weird shaped rocks the size of a small air craft. This is where the most religious Biks still choose to live, with monks and nuns. However, this is not where the Biks end. Even though they don’t live on the other two continents. (Caix and Atsa), they do have cities under the masses of water that cover the rest of the planet. The cities under the ocean are for those of Dakk that do not wish to deal with the rest of the universe. It’s a whole secret society of Biks that they have kept hidden from the other species out there. Only Biks know of the underwater cities, and keep it a secret.
Biks are a very advanced race, often coming up with better and new technology, every year. They pride themselves in being well respected throughout the galaxy. Honestly, these guys have a serious “holier than thou” attitude towards others. They were one of the first species to get out into space in this part of the galaxy, and are often considered the “big brother” of the galaxy. They claim to be peacemakers, and take credit for just about any time that the galaxy is mostly at peace. Yet despite this, they have one of the biggest possible fleets, and get offended easily. They also have a lot of secrets hidden underneath the waters of Dakk and often, the Bik government acts like everything is perfect, when in reality, things on Dakk are bad. There’s a lot of rebels and a messed up system. But, so long as the rest of the galaxy isn’t aware of it. The Biks choose not to worry about it.
Dakk is a planet that can be found in solar system “Giann,” it is the fourth planet from the sun out of 11 planets. However only Dakk is habitable. Dakk has a total of two moons, which help with the vast majority of water they have. The other planets in the Giann solar system are as the following: Thlua, Vett, Undrix, Dakk, Menthi, Avo, Weki, Quall, Tentin, Bulkk, and Vevanu. The first five are solid, then the next four are gas, and the last two are once again, solid. Each has their own number of moons and though no other than Dakk supports life, there is an ongoing mission to terraform Undrix and Menthi to make them like Dakk.
The Migixy (a Migix) from planet Gixia:
Migixy or a Migix, are from the planet Gixia, one with no main continents and instead, is full of small islands that make the planet look spotted in yellows, greens, blacks, and white, from afar. The inhabitants of planet Gixia are somewhat small, humanoid creatures with slightly animal features. (Cat like eyes, pointed ears, animal like agility and enhanced senses, slightly crinkled noses, and either fur, gils, scales, or feathers covering certain parts of their bodies, depending on what type of subspecies of Migixy they are. (There’s a total of four subspecies, taking after either mammal, fish, bird, or reptile.) Along with this, they also have antennas sprouting out from atop their heads, which they use to communicate telepathically with other Migixy in a close radius.
Gixia has many larger islands that are used as the biggest cities on their planet, and all the other islands work as their own individual towns. Due to the lack of a large span of ground, they have adapted quite well to the water and travel by submarine, boat, and even, enhanced swimming. Certain Migixy can even breathe underwater, though that’s fairly rare and they must be born with it. The Migixy are a fairly secretive species, that are immensely suspicious of strangers, though once they warm up to you, they’ve very friendly and forgiving, usually extremely loyal, and would do anything for you. They act slightly primitive, despite their somewhat advanced technology and have animalistic like behaviors as well.
Gixia is the third planet from the sun, and not the only planet in the solar system to obtain life. There is one more, the fourth planet from the sun: Wyz’akx, which is home to the Wrynns. For centuries, the Migixy thought they were alone in the universe, until they got more advanced in technology and were able to locate the Wrynns, only a planet away. Ever since then, the two planets have been there for each other, helped each other, and have formed a remarkable alliance. Once they both had invented space travel, the two species met together and now mingle constantly on each other’s planets. Both are from the solar system Ridolk, and though Migixy has many moons. (Tyslik, Pizzik, Zap, Maizee, and Almeo.) Wyz’akx only has one. Both the Wyz’akx and the Migixy eventually joined the Bik Alliance and have benefited from their more technology advanced friends.
Wrynns (a Wrynn) from planet Wyz’akx:
Wrynns hail from the planet Wyz’akx, the fourth planet from the sun, in solar system Ridolk, and neighboring planet to the third planet from the sun: Gixia, which also sustains life. Wrynns are rather large creatures, with a naturally bulky build, Gray, pasty skin, flat like faces, huge hands and feet, and horns instead of hair. They look rather intimidating but are actually rather nice. Like gentle giants. In this species, the females are much larger and bulky than the males, which are already taller and bigger than most other species. The Wrynns aren’t as advanced as far as space travel goes, and most of their ships are rudimentary at best. However with the help of the Migixy, they have been able to travel at a slow light speed and have plenty of weapons that are more like earthly medieval weapons with a modern twist.
The planet Wyz’akx is almost opposite to its neighboring one, in every way. It has very little water that can be seen and is almost completely covered in sandy like stones and rocks. Most of the time, the Wrynns actually get water from underground. Wrynns are primarily meat eaters, surviving off the large insects that roam the planet and the occasional reptile that scurries around. Most, if not all the creatures of Wyz’akx, tend to be much larger than normal ones, and with either eat rock, moss from underground water sources, aquatic fish from the same water, or smaller animals.
The Wrynns hadn’t paid much attention to the stars for many years. In fact, it was only when they got a message from the Migixy, did they start to pay attention to anything above their own planet. Soon, the two species were able to contact each other regularly and have been meeting quite often, ever since. They soon formed a powerful alliance and its completely common to find a Wrynn on Gixia, or a Migix on Wyz’akx. Wyz’akx only has one moon, which is named Zez’ek. Both the Migixy and the Wrynns were found by the Biks at some point, and after awhile, agreed to join the Bik alliance, quickly realizing that they could benefit from their more technology based friends.

OOC If we think of any more, we could add one or two more species in. But now I’m thinking we should focus on locations(planets, cities, moons, space stations, etc) and characters. So we then can create plots and I can write out a nice “About the roleplay” paragraph. Oh, and rules, we’ll need those too.

Here is something Zalkriks: A giant species of humanoid like monsters from the Planet Zalkrik, a planet covered mostly in darkness. The smaller planet stuck in the shadow of a massive gas giant, is constantly in the shade. However it's geothermal energy allowed for life to grow through Chemo-synthesis and a bit of heterotropism. The inhabitants of this world, live under the surface in cavers and caves built from the crust. They consume lava worms that are similar to tube worms of earth. They also eat rocks and soil that has been soaked in the chemical tainted "water" of the planet. These massive creatures are about 10 feet tall and slender and bony. They have slightly elongated muzzles on their face, with giant gnashing teeth, that look like teeth from an angler fish. They only have three clawed hands long feet. They have no "eyes". Well they have eyes but they don't see light, instead they see heat that is emitted from organisms. They seem to have no eyes because of their skin growing over the eyes to protect them from chemicals. They have a poor sense of smell and are relatively easy to kill if they can be caught off guard. However catching them off guard is a different trick. They are very sensitive to sun light and pale white in color. They have a frill that runs down their head and neck. The frill can change color allowing them to see and sense another's emotions depending on how much heat is emitted into the frill. They also have gills that help them filter out the smoke from the air so they can breath the proper chemicals. They are a neutral species of alien.

OOC That’s what I was thinking. See, the Biks have a Dakk/Bik Alliance thing going on, and I think they’re probably the main species, most other species probably have joined the alliance, some might not, but yeah.
I have a few ideas for places. We’re gonna want a description of all the main planets, with the main cities and moons if they have things there too. Then we’ll want space stations, other planets, some other, notable locations, stuff like that.

Okay, so the main question is how many Main planets and moons do you want total? To many and it gets confusing two little and it doesn't have enough space feel to it.

OOC Well, we’ll want the home planets of the species, as well as a few extra, maybe like...5 ish extra? Then we’ll want a few space stations. One can be a neutral one for all species, another could be the main space station for the Dak alliance, a black market type of space station, one meant for repairing ships maybe? And one more?
We should probably also have some other things, like a few extra things. Maybe a black hole they’re told to stay away from, a ghost “town” solar system, some weird nebula that people go through and don’t come out of, anything else we can think of to make it interesting?

Post by 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 on Dec 19, 2017 22:56:20 GMT -5
OOC Sure, I’m up for that. Also, I finished describing Dakk and any areas around it.
Dakk: Dakk is an orderly planet in the solar system Giann, fourth from the sun, and the only planet out of eleven, to sustain life. The planet in itself is entirely bland looking from the outside. There are three main continents, though only the middle one is habitable. The other two continents are found on the top and bottom of the planet and are a frozen wasteland where the only life that can be found there, are the underwater creatures that swim underneath layers of ice and the monstrous snow creatures that roam the surface. The continent on the top is named Caix, it is the seconds biggest continent, and though mostly covered in large, sharp, icy glaciers, and hidden caverns that lead underground, there is also a surprising amount of crystallized rocks that form the inner layers of Caix. The caverns that lead underground are large and hard to find, but if they are found, they will lead into warm underground lakes and crystallized caves, that get their warmth from the underwater volcanos. The second, also inhabitable continent, Atsa, is much the same, though with much less glaciers and caverns and more empty spaces that is only filled with snow and ice, no mountains in sight. Both Caix and Atsa are continents that experience such fierce, changing weather that it is impossible for them to sustain much life and only the brave or desperate will travel to either. As for the largest continent, and the only habitable one, is called Sury. It’s large and covers a good amount of the space, with many different types of terrain and plenty large cities and plenty of life. The outer lands of Sury, the lands that border the oceans, are marshlands and swamps, where the more primitive Biks live, those who do not wish to associate with the rest of the life on Dakk, whether Biks or not. Once you get further into the continent, there becomes more variety in terrain. On the south side land, there are large fields that have been taken over by bustling, skyscrapers, where plenty of Biks live and have made their home, the field are home to one of the three main cities of Dakk, a large one by the name of Kimorani, the capital of Sury, and as such, all of Dakk, on the outskirts of the city, is where most of the stations and ports for space are. Meanwhile, on the north side of the continent, the marshlands lead way for harsh, sharp, fierce mountains, that are not home to any Biks. However, for the more adventurous type, it is a wonderful place to test your skills. On thee east side of the continent, the land gives way to large forests with giant trees taller than you can see, where the grass grows as tall as normal trees, and the animals are just as large. Surprisingly, despite the large and intimidating size of everything there, it is home to Biks that families have lived their for centuries, these Biks know the forests caves like the back of their hands. Now, on the west side of Sury, once we leave the marshlands behind, we reach a vast desert, so wide and far, people who go there, often wonder if there’s anywhere else out there. Yet despite the sandy terrain, the desert is home to many larger cities that go both underground and above in hornet nest like rocks that sprout so far up into the air, they look like termite hills the size of mountains. One of these cities is the second biggest on all of Dakk, and is one of the main places to go while on the planet, it is called Ottolin and is a popular place to both live and visit. Finally, the last of the terrain resides smack dab in the middle of the continent, and all around it, are giant crystals that sprout from the ground, making a maze of giant crystals that only few know how to get through. This is where the nuns and monks live, keeping the sacred caves and temples of old well taken care of. There is a myth about magic stones residing in the caves that lie deep within the heart of the crystallized forest, however, as such few Biks believe in the old ways, the myth is regarded as nothing but a tall tale to all but the monks and nuns that live there. Now, despite Sury being the main living area on Dakk, that has not stopped the Biks from continuing their exploration elsewhere, going as far as to make secret cities under the water, where the third largest city lies, under the name of Lystra, the cities underwater, are a well kept Bik secret, and it is rumored among civilians, that the Bik Government has even more secret cities underwater, where they have secret bases and experiments that they’re working on.
Now, beyond Dakk, the planet in itself has four moons, each one getting smaller than the last. The first, and farthest away from the planet, is named Langley and has a relativity large Bik space station on it, where most of the construction of their ships are made. The second moon is named Yrlo, and is home to small Bik colonies that often are left with work from the Bik Alliance. The last two and closest moons are named Minnett and Tylua, and are not inhabited by anything but small, space insects that roam the surface. Now, beyond the moons, the other planets in the Giann solar system aren’t anything special. There’s three before Dakk, which are named Thlua, Vett, and Undrix, all three of which are plain colored, rock based planets, and the most exciting thing about any of them is that the Biks are attempting to terraform Undrix so that it can sustain life. After that, there are seven planets that follow Dakk, the fifth planet from the sun, (Menthi) being the last solid planet until the last two, is another one that Biks are trying to terraform, and looks quite similar to the first three. After that, the next four planets are gass planets, and although their colors vary a bit more, and every now and then one with have rings, they arent all that interesting either, they, in order, are named: Avo, Weki, Quall, and Tentin. Finally, the last two planets in the Giann solar system are small, frozen, rock based planets named Bulkk, and Vevanu, and although Bulkk is far from interesting, Vevanu is home to another Bik outpost, which is often the bridge location from the rest of the galaxy, and Dakk, and is often used as a repair shop for passing ships. I’ll work on the solar system that Gixia and Wyx’azk are from next, then some others. IC Text

I was thinking S'mores what if the BT nebula where people disappear into leads to an alternate reality? It would be an interesting way to lead Atlas Dona into this other Space rp!) One of my plans for Atlas Dona was the secret knowledge of the Military knowing about Aliens.)

Also, I added the ones you guys wanted to the list.
I’m more than happy to hear your ideas Gold! I had an idea that the abandoned planet could have some magic to it though, if you wanna include that somehow. (You don’t have to.)
Sure Night! I wouldn’t suggest a crossover between the roleplays until both have gotten their own footing, but that would be pretty cool.
I’ll take the Dakk station, and the neutral station, if Percy doesn’t’ want it. I was also thinking of taking the ghost solar system. But really, I’ll just take whatever’s left. (Except for the Dakk station, I should probably write that out for the Biks.)

But yeah, we'll figure it out eventually. Also If I get the time I may do sketches for each of the alien species. I know I want to do one for Zalkirks for sure! Yeah, now time to type everything out! I probs won't get it posted until after Thursday afternoon cause that's my last final.

I was also planning on sketching out the species, tbh, at least, the ones I made, so people could have a visual ref, you know?
As a side note, we should also start thinking about characters, because it’ll be easier to make plots based off of characters and places than off of nothing.
