Rose smiled “Ah yes, my dad seems to like soccer, finds it amusing more than anything else I think. My mum insists it’s not that exciting, but then she isn’t exactly very sporty.”
At the mention of her cousins liking Quidditch, Rose cast a glance over at her Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny.
“Yes, well, it’s in the genes. Uncle Harry and a lot of the Weasleys are keen Quidditch players. George, Ginny, my dad and their siblings all played. It seems I inherited my mum’s disinterest rather than my father’s questionable Keeper abilities.”

(By the way I’m aware that Rose is supposedly a Gryffindor Chaser but I kind of like the idea of her not being a player and sort of feeling like she’s ‘above’ Quidditch)

Albus grinned cheekily at Josephine, deftly swinging himself off his broom to the ground. “Uh....Louis!” He pointed at his cousin, who looked up from grappling with Fred. “You’re the new Seeker for now! I need a break.” His green eyes bright, he made his way to his friend. “I told you these get-togethers were crazy,” he laughed, grabbing a bottle of Butterbeer from the cooler. He leaned against the cool stone of the fence, a contented look on his face. “Thanks for cheering me on, though,” he continued, his eyes turning darker. “I almost had it!” "Break time, huh?" Josephine asked as Albus approached her. "Not even the great Albus Severus Potter can play an entire match of quidditch? Tsk tsk." Josephine said jokingly, a small smirk appearing on her face. A slight breeze blew a few strands of her auburn hair into her face. She lightly brushed them back behind her ear as she listened to Albus talk about the match. "Yeah, it sure is crazy! My family would just about die if we ever got this rowdy at home." Josephine's parents were...stuck up, to say the least. Proper, snobby, and most importantly, cold were the words often used to describe the Parish parents. That's not to say they didn't love or care for Josephine though, they just showed it in an unusual way. "Of course," Josephine replied her thoughts snapping away from her parents and back to the get-together, "What else are friends for?" she said smiling and grabbing a drink for herself.

“Hey,” Victoire smiled up at Teddy as he sat down, tucking a stray piece of sandy blonde hair behind her ear. “I’m surprised you’re not playing,” she remarked, her blue eyes filled with bemusement as they followed the various members of kids in the air. Her heart was going a thousand beats per minute, and she felt a bit of self-consciousness. Why? she wondered. Whenever she liked someone, she’d never felt this vulnerable around them. In fact, she often felt bolder. Maybe it was because her and Teddy had history. She let out a laugh as her little brother, Louise, got into a chicken fight with Fred in midair. “I was wondering if I should referee them instead of you, since I’m the only one who has common sense,” she joked, a soft smile on her face. {{ Sorry I didn't have time to reply again last night before work }}
Teddy acknowledged her comment with a dip of his head, his currently blue hair falling slightly into his eyes as he did. "I was thinking about joining them, but then I thought that I should at least give the rest of them a chance at winning." His reply was accompanied with a grin, to show that he was joking...if only a little bit. His eyes flicked towards her for a second as she laughed, his grin growing slightly both at her happiness and the amusement of seeing yet another slight brawl break out in the midst of the quidditch game. With a slight chuckle at Victoire's quip, Teddy responded with relative ease, so used to sharing these kind of jokes with her. "Oh, is that right? The only one with common sense hey? Tell me, why would the only person here with common sense sit by themselves and not enjoy the fabulous company?" As he mentioned the fabulous company, he flicked his hair out of his eyes, almost as if saying that he was the single most fabulous company one could possibly have (which may have been at least half true). "But to be honest, you probably should referee them over me, I've barely been paying attention."

Albus smiled, clinking his bottle with hers. "I'll cheer to that," he conceded, before taking a long swig of Butterbeer. "I almost don't want to go to Hogwarts," he said, gesturing around at the hanging fairy lights, the sound of laughter coming from the adult's table, and the tangible taste of joy in the air. He sat down on a stone bench, spotting Victoire and Teddy doing the same. In a conspiratorial whisper, he said, "I'll bet that they'll be snogging by holiday break." ( υиdεяcσνεяѕнεяlσcк That's quite alright! Just lemme make a RP profile for Vic!)

Josephine raised her bottle before taking a swig of her drink as well. "I can't wait to go back, honestly." Josephine replied between sips of her drink. "This is lots of fun and all, but it's not like mine? Does that make sense?" she asked turning to Albus. "Don't get me wrong, I'm having a great time, and I really appreciate you inviting me, but at Hogwarts," Josephine paused to take another sip of her butter beer, "I don't know, Hogwarts feels like my space I guess."

Victoire raised an eyebrow. "Oh?" She scoffed, amusement in her deep blue eyes. "I think I could beat you one on one. Easily," she sat back as far as one could on a stone bench, her arms crossed over her chest in a pose of challenge. It was true, though that Teddy could beat the younger kids. He was a great Quidditch player, but the blonde teenager thought she could hold her own. Victoire gave a start as she took in what the boy said. "Most fabulous company ever?" The girl stood up and secured her hair into a ponytail. "I think I could challenge that." She paused, thinking of a suitable bet for the both of them. "One on one Quidditch match. Whoever wins gets the title of 'most fabulous company.' It was a stupid prize, but Vic was desperate to get out. She and Teddy could fly out near the village for a round of flying, and maybe go in for something to eat. It's not a date, per say, she told herself. Just a...bet. Yeah.

Teddy matched Victoire's raised eyebrow expression as she claimed that she could beat him one on one. Although he knew he could beat the other kids, simply due to the amount of training he had over them, he wasn't nearly as confident about beating Victoire. However, there was no way in any world, that he was going to let that tiny little fact be known to her. And so, as the blonde girl stood, and issued a challenge, Teddy practically lept to his feet, his eyes glowing with amusement, hands rubbing together in anticipation. "Most fabulous company. I like the sound of that. You're on, Weasley." He agreed, mind already running away with ideas. "We could head towards the village..." He suggested, then added, "So we're not getting in the way of anything here." Here Teddy paused for a second, the excitement building up inside of him. "Most fabulous company, a title truly worth fighting for," he muttered, and then, "All right, let's do this then, I'm eager to win."

Smokey FeatherHarry nodded in agreement at that. “It always is a bit weird without the boys arguing or Lily going on about her new interest of the day,” his lip curled into a soft smile at the thought of his kids. Summer with them was always the best. It was the exact opposite than his summers with the Dursleys. The bespectacled man raised his brows as he noticed his middle child. “Gin, look at Al, there.” His smile broadened to a grin. “He’s with a girl. And he’s trying to be cool.” His son’s head was back, casually leaning on the fence. “I know a thing or two about trying to impress girls,” Harry joked. Lucia let out a guffaw as she saw James almost get knocked off of his broom. She flew towards her friend, grateful she’d remembered to secure her strawberry-blonde hair into a ponytail. The wind was picking up just a bit, and no doubt her mass of waves would be caught. “Too bad you didn’t wipe out,” she joked, a cheeky smile lighting up her pale green eyes. “You want to get some Butterbeer?” She offered, flying down close to the ground. Both she and James had been flying for what seemed like forever, and Lucia was flushed and sweaty. Ginny turned her gaze toward Albus, studying him almost curiously. Her lips curled in a small, but amused smile. She was about to comment on it, when she heard what Harry said next. Arching a brow, she looked at him again. Indeed could he impress girls. He was married to one, wasn't he? The memories of the journey to that point made her amused smile gain a hint of shyness as she turned away again. "Albus is much more at ease than you were at one point," was her final comment. Albus was probably so because he didn't have a Ron Weasely breathing down his neck like Harry did at one point. James turned toward Lucia, his hazel eyes looking annoyed, but playful all the same as she commented on his near wipeout. "I'll never let Al knock me off my broom," he answered with a slight shrug of his shoulders. At the question to take a break, he nodded. "Yeah, why not. We've been playing for a while." He directed his broom to fly lower as well, soon able to touch the ground and dismount. Looking over at Lucia, he waited for her to do the same

Victoire grinned at Teddy’s enthusiasm, the smile lighting up her features. “Brilliant. Now, let’s see...” she looked around for her Nimbus 2004 and Teddy’s Firebolt 3. They were propped up on the stone fence, seemingly perfectly placed. “Accio my Nimbus 2004!” She waved her wand, and her broom streaked towards her. She had to say my, lest she hurtle a poor kid’s broom out from under them. She easily got on, sweeping her hair out of her face. Her blue eyes gleamed brilliantly in the setting sun. “Last one there pays for dessert,” she called from behind her shoulder, flashing Teddy a cheeky smirk. And with that, she zoomed off into the amber-hued sky.

{{ I don't mind whoever wins or if they tie or whatever if you want to end this little race in your reply }}
Teddy wasn't far behind Victoire as she summoned her Nimbus, with a flick of his wand and the muttered Accio spell he had just jumped onto his brooms as she called out to him that the last one there had to pay for dessert. "Very well then." He said under his breath as he took off after her, eyes focused in on the blonde figure who was flying ahead of him. Teddy loved challenges, and he was determined to win this one, that was for sure. It wasn't that he minded paying for dessert, more so the fact that he wanted the 'most fabulous company' title and that this smaller side bet was the first step in getting to that goal. Leaning further forward on his broom, he grew to a greater speed, finally pulling up side by side to Victoire. "Can't lose me that easy, Vic." He called to her over the wind flying past his ears.

Smokey FeatherLucia touched ground and dismounted, tugging the ponytail out of her hair. “It’s so pretty here,” she observed wistfully, gently touching a floating paper lantern. Her green eyes sparkled with happiness, showing a gentler side than her usual cheeky nature. She grabbed a Butterbeer out of a cooler, nudging Hames as she opened it. “Look at your brother,” she smiled widely. “He’s flirting with Josephine, I think.”

Albus considered her viewpoint. "That does make some sense," he conceded, setting his drink down. "But this?" he gestured around them at the chaos. "This is my space." Family, Quidditch, Summer, and a cool drink? That was all you had to offer up to win the boy's attention.

Victoire gritted her teeth, leaning closer to the broom. She glanced sideways at Teddy, and nudged him a bit. Just enough to startle him, but not knock him off his own ride. "I think that'll be enough," she called over the wind. But even that wasn't enough to deter him, she noticed. Squinting her eyes, she could see the bright lights of the village nearby. The teen started her descent, aiming for the outskirts of the town. It was a Muggle town, and she had no desire to perform an Obliviate charm.

“It is rather nice.” Josephine admitted with a smile. “Having a large family like this must be lots of fun” she said brushing another loose strand of curly hair back behind her ear. She smiled even bigger turning to look at Albus and realizing how content he truly was with the wild family gathering. She enjoyed seeing her friend this happy, it made her feel happier too. “You know what would make this better though?” Josephine said with a smirk. “If you had been able to catch the snitch.” She said teasingly before he could even respond. She playfully poked his shoulder as she said it, giggling slightly.

Just enough to startle him, but not knock him off his own ride. "I think that'll be enough," she called over the wind. But even that wasn't enough to deter him, she noticed. It was a Muggle town, and she had no desire to perform an Obliviate charm. {{ I'll end it here (; }}
Teddy's gaze was focused on the approaching muggle town, his hazel eyes narrowed in concentration as he leaned even closer to his broom, trying to pick up as much speed as possible. It was due to this intense concentration that he didn't see Victoire's little trick of nudging him coming. Swaying a little on his broom as he quickly righted himself, Teddy couldn't help but grin as Victoire began to descend, heading for the outskirts of the town. Now more determined then ever, he leaned forward again, once more picking up the space he had lost, but not really managing to pull too far ahead before Victoire would then catch up. As they got closer and closer to the ground, Teddy was beginning to realise that, at this point, it would simply be down to chance as to who pulled ahead during the final moments. Leaning forward, eyes focused once more on the spot he planned to land, Teddy left it to chance as they got closer, and closer, and closer and then they were there, Teddy's feet hitting the ground..........a second after Victoire's. He shrugged philosophically at his loss. "Guess I can't always get free dessert." He sighed dramatically with a grin.
