Lmao I love the "stop making assumptions about us" vibe. Also the colors are nice but it's hard to say for sure until you see it on a layout.

Eh. I can take anything that's already been coded and alter it into something new. So I can't do anything real complex but I can make something fairly simple if you want. If you stalk my posts you can probably see some recent examples.

Warrior Code & Other rules
Defend your Clan, even with your life. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors, They also have access to the watering hole before anyone else as well. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders and queens. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating. Prey is killed only to be eaten, give thanks to Starclan for its life. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. After an apprentice's final test, they must patrol the border for one week alone and will then officially be seen as a warrior when/if they return. If more than one apprentices are to be made warriors, they are prohibited from traveling together. A cat cannot be made leader without having mentored at least one apprentice and defeating the current leader in a challenge. The clan will elect a leader if, the former one dies unexpectedly without an heir. Challenge all trespassing cats as if they are there solely to invade and destroy your clan. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is not from the clan. All toms must be taught to fight, while the she-cats are taught to hunt. Exceptions to this rule include, becoming a medicine cat, as well as if a kit shows extreme promise in the opposite genders role. If a warrior decides to abandon the clan at anytime, they are branded a traitor and forcibly removed from their territory. Medicine cats are forbidden from having kits, they are to be exiled if they break this rule. Any cat to break the warrior code will be punished as seen fit by the leader of the clan.
Any tom may challenge the leader whenever they would like, however they must have a legitimate reason for doing so. He must explain why he thinks he would be a better Leader in front of the Leader, Medicine Cat, Matriarch/Deputy as well as the two oldest living clan member and they will vote on whether or not the challenge is approved. Majority rules in this case, the leader can only vote in order to break a tie. There are five possible scenarios from here on. 1) The challenge is denied by majority. 2) The challenge is accepted, the Leader can face off against the challenger in a duel, the winner of this spar will be the leader of the clan. 3) The challenge is accepted, and the Leader rather than fight for his title, can simply decide to do a clan vote for Leadership. However this can be vetoed by the previously mentioned committee (The Medicine Cat, Deputy/Matriarch, and Elders). This is mainly used by older, and declining, leaders who don't have a lot left in the tank. 4) The leader accepts the challenge, but has another cat take place in his stead. However that cat must consent to fighting on behalf of the clan leader. If a leader does this, if the cat fighting in his stead wins the challenge, that cat will become the new Leader. This is mainly used by older Leaders who vote to deny a challenger's right to challenge but end up loosing. Thus they potentially choose a successor they would prefer. 5) The committee comes to a draw and the clan will vote on if the challenge is accepted. If there are an even amount of clan members, then the Medicine Cat's vote will count as two votes, as to avoid another tie. Deputy/Matriarch succession is decided a bit differently. Whenever a Deputy/Matriarch decides to step down, is exiled, or killed, a new Deputy/Matriarch will be chosen by the current Leader and Medicine Cat. If they cannot come to an agreement on a successor, the oldest cat of the clan will be brought in to break the tie.

Hm. I'm on mobile so take this with a grain of salt. It looks fantastic, except one thing; I feel as though the red text clashes with the orange background a bit. I would suggest either changing the red to a bit more orangish, or make it a bit darker, or both. But it's up to you.

Hm well if I feel inspired I can do a map, and I've actually done a desert before if you wanna see an example. I'm very skilled in the use of MSPaint lmao. I like the idea of the intro/history, and as for the code I feel as though we COULD change it a bit-such as remove the part about Clans standing together, since SpringClan is alone- and possibly add a couple more that suit the desert (for example, perhaps the kits, queens, and elders are also allowed to drink before the others).

how to join
First all you need to do is go to the home page and read the rules, warrior code and other rules, as well as taking a brief look at the territory. I'd prefer if you read everything as a lot of time and effort was spent on getting this clan together, that being said the above mentioned is the bare minimum requirement in joining this clan. And of course, follow all forum rules! Second is to read over the allegiances list, as not to create another cat with the same prefix as another. In all honesty, I probably won't read over your joining form if you apply with a cat who has the same prefix as an already existing member, because that generally means you didn't read over the allegiances list, which probably means you were too lazy to read through this, let alone the entire front page. So if you're reading this right now, you shouldn't have to worry about that. Secondly, I'm not a huge stickler about this but I'd prefer if we changed up the suffixes as well. I'm not too keen on having five cats named; darkheart, braveheart, whiteheart, brindleheart, and redheart while only having like 12 cats in the clan. Again, not a huge stickler on this but if I notice a suffix with more than three uses already, I'll probably say something. And last but not least, all you have left to do is fill out the joining form listed below!
List of prefixes

Joining Form
Cat's Name - Gender - Age - Rank Description [this includes appearance, personality if you wish, as well as a brief history if you wish. personally i don't like including a cat's personality before i roleplay them because i like developing that over time] - Username -

Sure. I had actually been looking at some areas of the Mojave Desert and I thought some of them could make cool locations in the territory. I think perhaps the main part of the territory could be something like "Ash Meadows," which has a bit more foliage- a lot of sparse grasses, and some trees and such. There could also be a canyon, perhaps at the bottom of which is the spring. Perhaps the Clan also makes the camp within the canyon. I also liked the Valley of Fire, which is basically a lot of twisted red stone and sand, with some very, very sparse foliage and cacti.
So what I'm thinking is maybe a fairly large canyon (perhaps with the territory being at the head of the canyon, due to the spring, which might have once been an actual river). At the bottom of the canyon is denser foliage and more wildlife, while above the canyon is something more like a true desert. Thus cats mostly stay within the canyon itself, but may also venture above it- perhaps the Clan's main territory is within it, while the nomads (however they are done, if they are done) patrol the desert at the top. Perhaps that's where the sacred place could be as well.

Alright, here's the (obviously) unfinished, draft version, with general "areas" numbered for convenience of explanation. Each area of the territory will be explained by number below, along with an image of its real-life inspiration if applicable.
1 - The canyon; inspiration, "Ash Meadows." This is where a great river, fed by the spring at the head of the canyon, used to run many, many moons ago. Over time, the amount of water flowing from the spring has diminished greatly; however, as the bottom of the canyon is shaded much of the day, and is deeper than the surrounding area, some moisture remains, allowing far more plants and animals to flourish here than in the surrounding desert. While this makes it a lucrative hunting spot, it is also exceptionally dangerous, as it attracts more predators as well as prey.
2 - The desert; inspiration... the desert. Flat, barren wasteland as far as the eye can see, with only sparse foliage and few animals. Here, one would mostly see birds and perhaps the occasional mouse, lizard, or other small creatures, as well as some larger animals such as pronghorn antelope. Buzzards and hawks circle in the sky, and due to a lack of coverage, this is a dangerous area for small cats who could be easily carried away by a bird of prey. At night, the land is haunted by coyotes and owls, but there is also more prey. Snakes are also abundant here, but not quite as abundant as in some of the rockier areas.
3 - The red valley; inspiration, "Valley of Fire." A valley of red clay and stone, carved in many different and interesting ways by years of rain water and creating very strange canyons, valleys, pillars, arches, and other unusual formations. Some of the shadier areas have sparse foliage and, in some crevices, even pools of water; however, anywhere touched by the sun is burning hot and barren during the day. At night, the red stone holds heat slightly better than the sand, and so the temperature doesn't drop quite as much here as in the open desert.
4 - Jagged rocks; inspiration, some rocks in the desert. A pile of stones jutting from the desert; it can be a good place to find mice, but it can also be a great place to get bitten by a snake if one isn't careful. Overall, it's better to avoid. At night, however, it has a fantastic view of all of the surrounding territory, being the most central, and its view of the stars is unparalleled.
5 - Twolegplace; no particular inspiration. A thunderpath passes through the western part of the territory, and there is a stop near the edge of the canyon where twolegs will rest and look into the canyon from a viewing platform. Cats mostly try to avoid it, but sometimes when times are hard it can be a decent place to find discarded twoleg food, or water.
6 - The hills; inspiration, some hills. Large, rocky hills that form the northwestern border of the territory. They can be a great place to hunt, and since they're not quite as open as the desert, are a bit safer. However, there are still plenty of snakes hiding among the rocks, as well as larger creatures such as big horned sheep which can trample or kick a cat if they get to close.
7 - Canyon head, including the spring and camp. The "spring" is actually two small caves where water flows out of, forming a pool at the bottom of the canyon. Generally, cats avoid the pool itself, as it attracts many other animals- some of which can be quite dangerous. Instead, cats tend to stay near the caves, where the water is cooler and cleaner anyways. The camp is near the spring and pool, but higher on the canyon walls. The dens, and any other Clan areas, are located in caves or in shaded alcoves, away from the prying eyes of twolegs and predators, and out of reach of the harsh sun.
