((Oh my goodness. XD Milo. I like him.))
Drake shrugged, not taken aback or offended in anyway. He flopped down onto the bench next to Milo and leaned back a bit, his hands gripping the seat. "So what do you think we're going to do today in gym? Or do you not like gym since most of it's very contact-y?" Yeah... contact-y... that was a word, wasn't it? Well, if it wasn't, it certainly should be. "I'm hoping for some dodgeball. I love dodgeball." Except for that one at his old school where this girl that apparently liked him threw the dodgeball and broke his nose. Man, he missed her.

[rp] "I don't, actually. I weigh basically as much as a thirteen year old girl." David said, fishing a pen out of his backpack after pulling out the binder, looking towards the front of the class, staying slumped down in his chair. In reality, his backpack weighed only a little bit more than 20 pounds, but that was still pretty heavy.

OOC I'm glad. Out of all of the four siblings, Milo and Jamie are my favorites.
IC Milo frowned at the thought of any possible thing they could do today. "None of it is good. I've been hit in the face too many times for me to care what ball it'll be this time. With any luck, something will happen and gym will be canceled," he said, resting his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands. "Mom says if I break another pair of glasses, I'll have to fix them myself," he explained, taking his glasses off for a moment and blinking in the blurriness before he put them all on. "Personally I don't care what we do, it's all a government conspiracy anyways."

Keisha actually laughed a bit at the absurdity of it. "That's absolutely beautiful." She replied, her voice rather monotone in nature as she opened her notebook and looked at her notes from yesterday. Nothing particularly interesting.
Drake found himself somewhat silenced. Well, this other kid could certainly be a bummer, couldn't he? "I don't think gym class is a government conspiracy." He replied simply and then returned his attention to watching the other kids trickle in. Class should start soon, and for that, he was excited.

IC "Of course you don't, you-" Milo paused mid sentence. He had been told...a lot, to at least try and make a good impression on people. Even if they were up to something. So he sighed in defeat, looking down. "Sorry. I'll get like that sometimes. Just tell me to shut up next time," he told him, glancing slightly over at Drake. Heaven forbid there was a next time. Milo wasn't even sure how to properly socialize, so even if this jock wasn't up to something (which he was) how was Milo supposed to talk to him? He clearly wasn't another conspiracy theorist. AKA: the only people you could trust.

[rp] David smiled at that, nodding. He was basically like a beanpole, for he was tall, yet really skinny with almost no muscles. Despite the fact that he was lanky, he was actually pretty athletic, and did really well in the sports that he did, as well as gym class. He watched as the last few students came into the classroom, and he opened his binder, flipping to a mostly blank page.

Drake laughed. "Sorry, but I don't think I could do that, even with permission." He shrugged before continuing. "I mean, it just seems kind of rude. And I do not like being rude." Again, totally atypical of any jocks, but Drake wasn't about to change in order to fit in. "But it's cool. I'm used to being called horrible things. Call me whatever you want, I won't be offended." He said as the bell rang.
Keisha looked up at the front of the room, waiting for the bell to ring. Within a minute or so, it had rang and she listened as the teacher moved to the front of the classroom to begin teaching. He spoke in a dreary tone, and she had a hard time staying awake.

[rp] David rested his cheek on his palm, not really paying attention to what the teacher was saying, as usual. He played with the pen that he had on his desk, humming one of the songs that he had to play in band, it being annoying catchy. "Could this class be any more boring?" he said under his breath after a while, lifting his head, still not making any effort to pay attention.

OOC Text
IC Milo squinted at him, trying to figure out what Drake had to gain by sitting here, talking to him, laughing. "...I was just going to call you a sheep," he explained, looking back to the gym. A government controlled sheep, but it probably would have been worse to include that part. "Most people are. Then you have the people behind it all, and finally, the people who know better," he explained, resting his chin on his hands again.

OOC Tbh he probably believes that. Milo is my little conspiracy theorist son who probably believes in anything and will prove it. I love him.
I'm also super excited to introduce Jamie as well though, because I love him too.

((I agree. XD He's very unique and cute. Bring him in somehow maybe...? I have a Mason.))
Keisha shrugged at that. "He could be talking really slowly. That might be slightly more boring." She suggested as she leaned forward, her chin resting on her hand.
"I like sheep. I'm cool with being a sheep." It was nice, considering that Drake was typically called a duck. The teacher was taking attendance, but class hadn't started as of yet. "But why a sheep?" He asked, trying to keep the conversation going to give him something to do.

[ooc] yea. i might make another character, but i just don't know yet. i don't really want to bite off more than i can chew. for me, having more than one is a little overwhelming. [rp] "Yeah, after that, it can't get any more boring." David said, yawning, trying his hardest to stay awake. He raised his hand when the teacher called out his name for attendance, putting it back down and resting his head in his palm once again. He never really understood that class: if the teacher didn't know how to pronounce his last name, why not just say his first and be done with it? It wasn't like he was going to correct him, because he wasn't, but it was getting pretty annoying.

OOC Yeah. I love my Walters twins.
That could work. Honestly Jamie could come in anywhere, he's the type to skip classes.
I get that. I was gonna make more characters but I wasn't sure I could handle more than four yet.
IC Milo glanced at him again. "Because you mindlessly follow whatever the government tells you. You haven't gotten the short end of the stick, you don't question things. Thus, you're a sheep," he said, looking away again. "I could be wrong," he added, shrugging his shoulders. "But for some reason, I don't take you as a rebel, or even someone that questions the lies the government feeds you," he explained with a shake of his head. He probably needed to shut up again. But Milo wasn't exactly the best at social cues.

((Alright, I'm on for about an hour before I have to go to bed because I have to get up early in the morning to make money. o.o
I feel the opposite way. I hate having just one or two characters, unless it's, like... a one on one. Otherwise I want like eight. XD
Mason would be the kind of kid to skip class... XD))
Keisha also rose her hand when he called out her name. So, this other kid was David. Interesting. She didn't think she had heard about him before, although there was something mildly familiar about him. Keisha was silent for a moment, thinking about it, before she remembered that she had seen him when she used to play soccer. He was on the boys' team (obviously -- he was a guy, after all) and for a moment, she felt sick remembering her soccer playing days. "Kind of like Ferris Bueller." She replied, although she wasn't sure if he would get the reference.
Drake was silent for a moment, trying to process exactly what Milo had said. Well, he hadn't exactly been handed a nice life, but he wouldn't blame that on the government, necessarily. Most of it was circumstantial. It wasn't the government's fault that his father walked in and his mother found happiness by always being nauseatingly drunk. "Well, the government, in my opinion, is just managing the best it can. I believe in them, for the most part. But then again, I like to look at the silver lining. The bright side." He found himself smiling, despite everything. "And nope! Been rebel free since last week." He replied with a laugh, although by "rebel" he meant some accidental underage drinking at a party he had attended. "I would rather just go along with it than constantly be fearing everything around me."

OOC Well then, we can have them meet?
IC "It's not fear," Milo argued quickly. "It's paranoia. Fear makes it sound like I'm afraid. Which I'm not. I'm cautious, and I'm prepared. When the government takes over and we're all toast, you'll see," he said, however after that he seemed to calm down a little as he looked back out to the gym. "Like I said though. You wouldn't understand. You're a sheep," he finished with a shrug, as if that was obvious.

[ooc] yknow, i totally could be asleep right now because i have a birthday party for my best friend tomorrow morning, buuuuut roleplaying is so much more fun xD [rp]
"Hm? Yeah, I guess." David said, hearing her make the reference. The movie was a little hazy in his mind because the last time he watched it was the beginning of middle school, yet he understood. He had noticed her raise her hand a little after he did, that leading to the discovery that her name was Keisha. For some reason though, he felt like he had seen her before, but he couldn't quite remember when. Maybe she was in a few of his classes last year? No, then he would have known her name earlier.

((Sure! Do you want to start, or shall I? o.o
Just about how I feel. XD I don't want to socialize, except through characters.))
"Paranoia... fear... either way, I wouldn't want to live like that. Not if it doesn't matter and either way, I'm 'toast,' as you call it." Drake replied, still keeping his collective calm because again, it took a lot to shake this kid up. He looked back out as the teacher started to wheel a cart out of his storage room. Drake bounced on the seat in excitement, his eyes brightening up. "Dodgeball! Yes!"
With her attendance now figured out, Keisha sunk back down into her seat. She had everything she needed for class piled up in a neat pile so that it looked like she was taking notes and paying great attention when, in all reality, she wasn't listening at all. Instead, her mind was wandering... a lot. There were so many other things she could be doing but instead, she was stuck here. How miserable.

[rp] David kept his cheek rested on the palm of his hand, the binder sitting in front of him with the page dated for that day, it kind of looking like he was working. He closed his eyes, his mind wandering to what he had in store for that week. He looked forward to Friday, not just because it was the day before the weekend, but also because they had a football game, and he always enjoyed going to those. In that class though, half the time he paid as much attention as he could, but the other half of the time he just dozed off. Despite his severe lack of listening skills in that class, he maintained a pretty good grade.

OOC Could you start?
IC Milo let out a groan, hanging his lead low. "I'm gonna get hit in the face again. The universe is against me with sports," he grumbled under his breath as he got up from the bench. Might as well get it over with. Maybe he should take off his glasses. Milo contemplated it, even taking them off for a moment. But everything was just too blurry with out them. He wouldn't even be able to see anything. So with a sigh, he put them back on.

Keisha managed to keep some interest in what was happening, if not just to maintain her A status. She didn't have much else going for her, so she devoted the majority of her time to schoolwork, or reading. Otherwise, the only thing she had to do was sit at her house, doing absolutely nothing. Of course, she didn't particularly mind being completely alone.... most days.
Mason had eventually broken his "I won't be skipping any classes today" pact and was now sitting outside at a picnic table, relaxing in the sun with his eyes closed. Sometimes it was nice to just relax out here, in the blissful silence with bo ine else out around.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you today." Drake told him. "I can either just take the hits for you, or be on the other team and lightly hit in you in the back every round to fet you at." He suggested, although he fully suspected Milo to look at him in disgust and not accept.... Or maybe even not talk to him again. That would probably be what would happen. Drake and Milo were two completely different people.
((Milo... I understand your glasses predicament too well.))

[ooc] im so tired Dx [rp] David opted to just scoot back up in his chair, crossing his arms on the desk on front of him and laying his head down in them. It was obvious at point that he was not paying attention, but the teacher just never really cared. Maybe it was because he sat more towards the back of the class, and the teacher just didn't look there very often. His shoulders moved up and down as he sighed, just kind of thinking and zoning off.

OOC Morning guys!
IC Jamie hadn't been to many of his classes today. He figured he'd just copy off of Milo later. Considering he was actually in a good mood and did his school work. Ha, nerd. Anyways, Jamie was currently walking around, bored out of his mind, hands in his pockets, as he tried to figure out what to do, whistling as he walked. That's when he spotted someone familiar. A jock. Man those were annoying. Always thinking they ruled the school.
Suddenly Jamie got an idea. Which, with him, was never a good sign.
So, Jamie just waltzed on over and sat down across from him. "Sup," he said before pulling out his phone, slouching over the picnic table, all but ignoring the guy after that. There was a reason though. It was all part of his plan.
-
Milo frowned, not believing him for a second. However...He looked back out to the balls. It wouldn't hurt to play along for now. "Alright, if you want," he agreed, looking back over at Drake. He was up to something, this little offer had basically confirmed that for Milo. Of course he didn't know what Drake could be up to yet, which might make it a good idea to keep him close for now, figure it out. That way Milo could always be prepared.
