Evanesce waved their hand, seeming bored again, βI donβt care about your little friend either, but I canβt interact with the world like you can.β They clarified, βA girl, her name is Umbra, is one of the shades. Her powers belong to that of a girl named Corona, but the girlβs soul belongs to a girl who was named C-β they stuttered, voice seeming thicker, sadder even, βCassiopeia. Donβt call her that though, she likes to go by...by Cas or Cassie.β
They had a feeling Ollie knew who the girl was. But they continued, if he understood who she was, he needed to understand how. βI have one question, Ollie. You know how, with energy, every action has an opposing one?β They locked eyes with the members of the room, frowning slightly, βOrionβs Power didnβt come from nowhere. He killed billions to get it.β
Enix frowned at this, stepping forward, βThatβs not possible, we would have heard about it-β
βThatβs true. You didnβt hear about it.β They clarified, βBecause-β they halted, pausing for effect, before smirking just a tiny bit, still they were that dark creature, βthey werenβt from your world.β

"Ray." Cockroach repeated as it registered in their mind. They took a stride over to Jerome and put out a hand, which the man took with a satisfied but guarded smile. "Don't feel so down my good man, your buddy Steve will be fine,it's the spawn you need to watch out for." It made a winking gesture from their eyeless socket.
"Looks like I should get going if I'm going to go get B4 before he gets carried away with his getting of Steve's killer." And just like that they opened their wings and flew off again, this time leaving a rock behind. Jerome obviously picked it up and pocketed it.
"Well, now I don't know what to do."He admitted. "I guess my house could suffice for the time being. How about you my acquaintance, know where you're headed now?"

Ollie's eyes lit up with newfound understanding. Of course. The whole situation made a little more sense now. He'd been so absorbed by her initial question about Shadow that he could barely ponder anything else. He adjusted his position, having to put a little more weight on Enix and the wall. The blue crystal glowed softly, as he tried to keep his power from leaking into Enix. His face was solemn as he studied Evanesce. "She's telling the truth." His gaze narrowed once more. As terrible as a massacre in another world was, he was ready to get to the point. "What are you implying?" --- Huh. Somehow, Cockroach was both saying the guy named Steve had been killed and was completely fine. Ray didn't know what was going on. He noticed Jerome pick up a rock, but quickly lost interest. When Jerome asked him the question, he glanced down at himself. The steady rain and wind had done a good job of cleaning him off. "Not sure. Everything's going to seem boring, compared to today." He chuckled without amusement. He might head home. By now, his grandparents likely heard what happened. They'd be worried. Yet something was unappealing about that idea. Thunder cracked in the distance.

Jerome's head snapped in the direction the thunder was coming from. "Such a weird day! First that battle at the square, then the other battle at the square, then Steve dying, then finding you, then almost getting killed by a giant snake, then finding out Philo's dead, then that Cockroach fellow being let out,and now a storm when the day showed no signs of a storm." The recap wasn't brief but if he was being honest with himself,he'd left out quite a bit. "But are you sure you're fit enough to go home? No broken noses or scuffed up knees?"

Evanesce just grinned, leaning back against the wall with arms crossed over their chest, white hair holding an ambient glow, βYou think he corrupted clones of people? No, no, no...he corrupted souls.β They stooped thenm glancing down at the blue shimmer, the crystal. They held back a snarl at it, backing up, βMultiple universes exist...you wouldnβt remember that, I assume. Multiple versions of us exist. By taking a portion of powers, Orion has used one of these other universes to kill off beings by pretending to be a god. Those Shadeβs...some are from our universe, splints of souls, but some were more experimental. They used the souls of those Orion sacrificed. Those sentient beings didnβt come from nowhere, and they owe everything to Orion.β They hummed slightly, cackling then.
It was perhaps unnerving, listening to the ghostling, though they locked eyes with Ollie, βAnd how do you fix corruption, Ollie?β They prompted.

Ray huffed. "Tell me about it. It make's me think of this phrase. What was it again...? Something rotten, oh yeah. There is something rotten in the state of Denmark- heh. It's been a while since I've read Shakespeare." He chuckled when Jerome asked the next question. "All I have is an injury to my energy. All that running around really gets to you after a bit." Strange, considering how today was also the day he felt the most energy. --- Whisper nodded to whatever response she received and walked silently through the darkness. She crept up behind Rosie and placed either hand on the side of her head. She gritted her teeth against the shock that seemed to transfer when she touched the child. Before Rosie could struggle, she began her process of whispered insinuations.
Outside the wind picked up even more. --- Ollie's gaze darkened at the information, but he listened regardless. He did remember. He could feel his old self stirring within him at the painful memory. And how do you fix corruption, Ollie? The question echoed in his mind. What was the opposite of corruption? Purity. His gaze dropped down to the tattered, blood-soaked chest of his cloak, where the blue glow leaked through. He looked back up at Evanesce. Could it really work? There had only ever been one other time the thought crossed his mind to try such a thing, but he never got the chance.

Evanesce smirked, he got their little clue. Though something hid in their smirk still, a foreboding, perhaps, and they lowly warned, βJust remember, Ollie, every action has a consequenceβ. They didnβt reveal anything more, as they walked away, simply into a wall, like the ghost they were.
Enix stood, flabbergasted and confused, staring between Ollie and the no gone ghostling in utter puzzlement.

(Picture of Enix flabbergasted and confused: When you are left out of the loop. XD)
Every action has a consequence... The foreboding words gave him the chills. They reminded him of the chilling words someone else once spoke to him. "W-wait!" Ollie called weakly. He had so many more questions. Even with all the information, nothing was certain. He tried stepping forwards, but his leg buckled with a pained grunt and his world fell into a void of dizziness. He could probably seek the ghostling in the forgotten realm, but he didn't have the strength to return that place again, much less protect himself against it.
(Ooooh man, this is making me excited. :3)

Iβm very excited for this too.)
Enix blinked, looking at the dissapearing figure in mistrust, before stepping forward harshly in concern for her teammate. βI...nevermind, letβs get you taken care of.β She was about to demand answers, but they wouldnβt do any good at the current moment.

Jerome was about to respond when Steve's voice rang out in his head. I swear to God if the weather changes suddenly one more time I'm going to commit some weird mind toaster bath! Jerome growled and smacked himself up-side the head. "You talk like that again and you won't have to do that!" He then turned to Ray,getting noticeably annoyed with everything going on. "If you need to come find me. I live as close to the middle of the city as you can get. It's a large house, stands out among the others on the street. Give the door a couple knocks and someone should be there to greet you."
(I have good reason for this,I swear)
Wow,it's pretty dark in here.
A a light orange, almost yellow light shined from a pile of rubble. Wherever the light could get through it shined as far as it could until something got in the way, such as a cloud or a tree branch.
I don't want to freaking hear it! Now this voice was different from the first. The first one was soft and quiet. This one was rough and booming, and the light shined brighter when it spoke.
But it was dark. And heavy, needless to say. And it was the other one that held one back from breaking free. They didn't want to be separated. But something was calling to the rougher one. And the calls were getting louder each time they spoke.
One They called, making the light die down a little bit.
Two They got louder still, causing the light to flicker off then back on.
Three And with that, the sound of a banshee it seemed, the light completely died.
And two flowers emerged from the rouble. One was a beautiful orchid. Blue in colour and smelling of a green forest after a rainy day. The other one was a burnt looking rose. The petals had all either fallen off or were slowly turning to ash. And it smelt of burnt plastic.
And from the rose a light in the shape of a human figure appeared. "I'm sorry, sister." Was all that slipped from it's mouth before it suddenly poofed away in a cloud of ash.
Now the rose had turned to face the orchid. And after a few long moments of nothing happening it suddenly ate the orchid, releasing a foul smelling cloud.

"We'll make it through this..." Ollie murmured on the edge of consciousness. As he passed out, his arm slid away from the worst of his wounds, revealing the slice across his chest. --- (Huh... :3 I wonder where the flower cannibal thing is going to lead. XD)
"Heh? Fine then. Learn to take a joke, man." Ray gave Jerome a weird look after the guy smacked his own head. "Yeah. Maybe," Ray mused at the invitation. Though usually when he said maybe, it meant he never would. But still, you never know. The rain lashed harder with the fierce wind. Looking up, he could see the swirling of clouds further in the city. "You should probably hit the basement while you're at it." Then he turned away and lifted a hand in farewell. "Maybe we'll run into each other again some day."

"Maybe we will." Jerome waved back. He's fat. Steve stated as Jerome turned to the opposite direction. "You think everyone's fat." Jerome didn't like the mouth Steve had gained in whatever the heck was happening. Used to he'd keep his opinions to himself until they came in handy. Now he shot off like fireworks on the 4th of July. Cockroach, keep in mind B4's respawn. Knock him out and don't let him kill himself, that'll just lead to disaster. Now that he had warned the blood hound he shot another portal onto the ground under him and fell into it,popping up inside his house's lower level, pulling out the rock from his pocket. "Now,let's see just what you can do...." (The cannibalistic flower has a lot of foreshadowing to it

(Iβm up to that. Ollie awakening or time-skip to when exactly?) β- (...Wonders if it has anything to do with B4 respawn...)
The clouds churned, and the storm raged on. From a distance, it was almost as if the clouds were slowly dropping from the sky. However, the windspeed was anything but slow. The tornado had begun.
(Dun dun dunnn...)
Whisper could feel the energy in the air. It was working. The girl had more in her after all. Rosie let out a scream, and an electric pulse threw Whisper to the floor. When Whisper lifted her head, Rosie was walking away, her eyes glowing. Whisper groaned as she sat up. She tried using the communication device, but it didnβt work. Rosie walked to the door and set her hand against it. Light flashed, and with a series of crackles and bangs, the door burst open. Whisper held her breath in fear as watched Rosie walk out. She was beyond her control now. What had they done? She needed to find the others. β- (Will post the Ray plot someday. XD)

Banshee's hair had been turning a darker shade of red for the past few hours. Snake's death wasn't something that bothered him but the fact that he was killed wasn't a good sign. But now there was something more pressing to tend to. Their hair has blasted to a violent black and he could actually hear where it came from. Rushing to where the source was located he almost stumbled into Whisper. "What the heck happened?" He whispered but it sounded like a normal voice because otherwise he'd be busting her ear drums.

(Took a day off yesterday. :3) --- (Hm. Considering his wounds, it would take him at least two weeks for him to mostly heal. Maybe he isn't saying much about his thoughts, or maybe nobody asked. Something like that? Maybe he's been wandering in the forgotten realm, trying to spy on the movements of Orion and the shades...? Of course, whenever they aren't in the dreamscape, and if he can find them. Or maybe he was just in recovery the whole time, pondering all that he now knows.) --- (Huh... Well I guess I'll just have to wait and see what comes of it. ^^)
Whisper shook her head. Her hair was frizzy and out of place, which was unusual for her. "The girl's too strong. I can't control her!" Her silky voice had an unnatural edge to it, making it sound more like a hiss. She stood somehow gracefully, despite holding her burnt hands cradled near her abdomen. "She escaped through there," she nodded towards the broken down door, still smoking from Rosie's electric attack.
Rosie wandered through the building as if in a dream. Outside, the tornado grew and touched down in the city. The building in which she stood remained untouched. Outside was eerily still. Screeches, snaps and bangs filled the air outside, the sounds of things being torn from the ground, but even these sounds were nearly drowned out by the thunder of the wind. Rosie suddenly stopped and her white glowing eyes looked up at the ceiling. Her long curly red hair began to rise, and the lights of the building flickered.

"Oh wow, anything else new?" Banshee replied as he turned his head to the hole. "Looks like someone's getting mad. I wonder why something like that would happen." He looked down on the girl with cold eyes. "Honestly,if you weren't the only one who could do what you do I wouldn't hesitate to get you booted out of here." He looked up at the lights. "Ringo should be here,be much more useful than a loud noise and whatever the heck it is you can do that would be useful in this situation."

Whisper glared at Banshee. "I never signed up to be a babysitter!" she snapped. Her expertise had always been secretly and silently spying on others. "Ringo. He's always missing when you need him. I don't even know if he can do anything. The girl is nearly past reasoning." KABAM! The lights suddenly went out. Her earpiece was already out of commission, and she assumed with all this electrical interference, Banshee's would be too. "I'll go alert Alpha of what is going on. You just make sure the girl stays in this building."
KABAM! Lighting flashed down, bursting through the ceiling and Rosie was enveloped in the blinding light. When the light faded, soft light from the overcast sky above filtered in from above. Flames licked at burnable parts of the building. From out of nowhere, a wind filled the hall and Rosie rose through the hole to the roof of the building. She landed lightly on the surface and the wind around her dispersed. In a large circumference around a couple blocks, the walls of the tornado spun with Rosie at its centre. --- (Or we can assume he at least told them the full story of what happened with Shadow and Orion. I dunno. XD) (Let's say this is a week or two.)
Ollie touched the scar on his chest. It was still sore if strained, but it was much better than it once was. Ollie thought back with a shiver. So much had happened that day. Their situation became both more complicated and more simple all at once. Even after all his time to think, he still didn't know when he could hope to achieve such a thing. He hadn't said much about it to the others yet. Soon, he would have to, but he wanted to figure things out beforehand. He put on a shirt and put on his patch-worked cloak. He took a deep breath.
(If not interrupted, he'll head out in the forgotten realm. :3)

(Ah, that's fine. I didn't give you much to go on.)
Ollie closed his eyes. I'll be back everyone... Don't you worry. When he opened his eyes, everything had turned a shade darker. He was in the forgotten realm. The last few days he had gone out in search of Orion and the shades with very little progress. Ever since the encounter with Shadow and Orion, he was more careful in his wanderings, careful to not reveal himself. He wandered into the city and once again closed his eyes. His eyes slid shut as he walked, and the blue crystal glowed as he reached out with his mind. He felt memories, emotions... all fleeting and drifting away like wisps of string. Drifting away to the darker places of the realm. Although some might be similar, every memory was unique, each with their own personal imprint. Most however, he ignored. He was looked for something in particular.
(Trying colour code to explain whether or not he is in the forgotten realm. If black is hard to see, I'll pick another colour.)

Banshee's hair suddenly turned to a bright white colour as the lightning went off. If this girl doesn't become useful I'm gonna make sure Alpha goes to sleep deaf tonight. He positioned himself under the hole and opened his mouth to let out a rather noisy screech, which then launched him into the air. He closed his mouth and looked around quickly until he caught sight of Rosie. There you are you little brat! He turned to face the other direction and down a little bit then let out another screech and was launched in her direction. Reaching out both arms he tried to grab her as he flew past her.

(Question, are you okay with an Au version of Ollie having known the Au Evanesce. The characters would be important in regards to trust, but would have been killed off.)
Shadow escaped the group, once more, with her dark eyes almost brimming in tears, new bruises laced her skin, and a deep hidden anger in her eyes. Her fists clenched at her sides, shadows licking at her feet.
From afar, Umbra watched with a small smile, backing up, waiting.

Whisper ran to the lower levels of the building. It was dark and hard to see, but she knew the layout like the back of her hand. She burst into the room. Alpha was seated, surrounded by the glow of lamps. The flames of each lamp was reflected in his eyes. "The girl was stronger than we expected! I-" she burst out breathlessly.
"I know," Alpha simply acknowledged. Whisper's breath caught. "The girl is quite spectacular, is she not? But without control, we will have to use her differently." Disappointment flashed in his gaze. "I thought you had more in you than that, Whisper."
"Forgive me, Boss."
"I'll deal with you later. Where's Ringo?"
"I don't know..."
Alpha frowned. "Well go find him!" Whisper flinched.
"No need, Bossman. I'm right here." Ringo strolled in and dropped a duffle bag onto the floor. His hair and clothes were damp and ruffled, and there was a gleam in his eye. "Quite the storm out there. Nearly got blown away. Might have to stay here in the eye for a while," he said with a chuckle. He looked up at Alpha's scowling face. "So what's up? Want me to adjust the forecast? Sunny? Perhaps a lighter rain? Or is it hail you want? Ha. That could sure cause a bit of damage."
Alpha let out a long impatient breath. But a bit of a smile came back onto his face, and he told Ringo what he wanted him to do. --- A screeching sound reached Rosie's ears. Dreamlike, she started to turn. Before she realized what was happening, Banshee had her in his grasp.

(Ooh. I think that would be pretty interesting. ^^ Having such similarities between the two characters makes it very possible. I was thinking most of the AU Ollie's have died off or lost their minds in the forgotten realm.) (Oooooh man. All of this smells of a trap. Ahhhhhh. Ollieeeee my gullible booooooy!) (Or is it? Find out next time on...)
Ollie mentally felt around. He couldn't feel any unusual panic. He paused when he came across something familiar. The strands didn't drift away so easily. They consisted of tears, pain, and a deep anger. His eyes opened. Could it really be? She was near. He walked through a few buildings and stopped when he found her. It was her. It was Shadow. His breath caught. Covered in bruises, she looked to be near crying. His heart cracked for her, and his anger grew at all Orion had done. He glanced around, looking for any glow of life and memory that might be nearby. He also took a few moments to study Shadow's glow. The glow of the shades was different than that of ordinary people, but they still glowed. Evanesce's words came back to him. These shades... They were more than just corrupted clones. They had souls, they had their own thoughts. He didn't know how he had missed it before.
(Sweet! That's what I'll do then. ^^)

Perhaps Ollie would see it, flashes of a girl, terrified, as children around her died in sacrifices to magic, her own tearful cries and fear as it took on a new effect with her. A recurrent fear of a crystal statue that looked like it was molded after her, and flashes of memories that included many grey areas, pain, death.
Curled, Shadow replayed the recent ones in her head, Orion, beating her once more for her disobedience. She didnβt know exactly why, but she despised him, mor Ethan anything she could explain. She had Hollyβs memories, flashes of them would come to her mid at times, but it felt like it ran much deeper.
