(Hm. Depends what Jerome plans on doing next. :3)
“Death, huh?” Ray’s words were quiet enough that they might have been lost in the noise of the raging storm. He looked up towards the darkened sky, squinting against the lashing rain. The guck that clung to him a short while ago began to drip away.

Enix sat in the hub, her dark brunette hair and now dark navy eyes narrowed. Losing her powers caused a major mess up for her, though she was adjusting still. Beside her, Ress sat beside her mother, researching and looking up their new enemy.
— Shadow sat, humming softly to herself with an overly agitated glance as they sat in Dreamscape, the realm Orion had taken over and harbored them in. Though she didn’t look happy at all. Her fingers tapped against glass, narrowed angrily at the area ahead of her.

(Chloroform: Ah. You can skip to that point if you want. And it's up to Jerome whether he wants to lug Ray along or not. XD) --- (Shadow: So is this at a point that Ollie already told them what he found out, or before then?) --- (Thought I'd throw this in there if that's okay. XD I wanted to try him out.)
Fury was leaning against a corner, his arms crossed and his eyes closed. His hair was darker than a moonless night and his skin was a shade of ash. His leather jacket was nearly black while his pants were a dark grey. He was so still, one might be able to mistake him for a dark statue. Inwardly, he silently endured the painful sounds emitted by Shadow. Tap tap tap tap... Each beat was like a scratch against his skin. An itch to go and snuff out the sound once and for all. And that humming! His hands twitched, and his mouth twitched into a slight snarl. The anger was building. It would fill his entire being until the itch would become one nearly uncontrollable throb. His eyes flashed open, and he glared in Shadow's direction. His eyes were black, ringed with white, filled with malice and the urges of violence.

Shadow continued her humming, noticing the tiniest details of anger and tension building in the other Shade near her. Fury. She smirked at it, filled with her dark intent and hate. Though, it ran much deeper than one may suppose. She looked rather young, much younger than she should look. A type of innocence aligned with the darkness. She looked like Holly to a degree, but held an acute difference to the girl who died at age 17. She looked perhaps years younger, a foolish thing Ollie did to stab at the hearts of those who knew her. Her voice was octaves different, perhaps the most stark of differences, layered with a casual monotone and unfiltered darkness. A smirk rested on her lips as she stared at Fury, who was glaring back at her now. Unlike him, she had eyes that were a dull grey tone, darker on the outsides and paler near the iris. She quipped up, finding it too funny not to, “Oh, what’cha gonna do, throw a tantrum?”
Near her, another Shade, Umbra, who was simply rolling her eyes at Shadow’s actions. Her eyes were pale, like the moon, and her hair fell in silvery strands. Her skin was a darker grey color, with an annoyance held in her eyes. She was known for being rather peaceful, never outwardly arguing with Orion, but never hurting others directly. A type of dutifulness hung about her, and oddly, she wasn’t blind like her original, Corona.

(I'll go ahead and just drop this then if you want Ray to be there he can be xD )
"This is it." Jerome stated as he stood in front of an old abandoned building. He'd been here so many times he didn't need to see to find it. Now getting in was a different story. It's right there you big goof! Just lift the half circle! He did not like the voice at all. And to be completely honest it was half the reason he was here, just him trying to figure out what was going on. Sighing he placed his hand on the thing keeping the chain link fence gate closed and pulled it up then pulled the gate open.
Stepping through the newly opened gate and walked through a hole where a door would have been when the building was still functional and walked down a hall to his left and too a closet door. Once he opened it he stepped into it and fell down about 40 feet and landed in a large pool of water.
Beep
An alarm sounded as a female's voice was on a speaker. "Welcome back Jerome,I see you're still getting into trouble."

Last time on WCBH... It took a few minutes for him to arrive at Ress's base. Ollie reappeared by the wall, and in moments the pain was back. It was a good thing he hadn't tried to take on Orion. He was already weaker than he expected to be, now that his adrenaline was wearing off. With his flesh arm, he held his chest wound while he leaned against the wall with his metal arm for support. He was quite the sight, pale and weak, wearing a tattered, blood soaked cloak. --- The snarl grew, followed by a low guttural sound from deep within his throat. The taunt was all he needed to get started. In the blink of an eye, Fury was gone. Next moment, he was behind Shadow and moved to slam her against the glass she had been tapping. --- The storm raged onwards, the wind and rain an unwelcome combination. Sheet lightning flashed across the sky. Rosie stood, her eyes focused on something distant that she couldn't see. She moved for the door. It wouldn't open. "I need to see him..." she whispered. "Open the door! I need to see Jerome!"
Whisper, who had been leaning against the wall, stood up with the grace of a gazelle. "It's too dangerous. You saw what he did, what he was going to do." She walked towards Rosie.
"The Jerome I know would never do that! Something's wrong. I need to see him now!" The lights in the room flickered.
Whisper touched her arm. 'But he did... ' she whispered into Rosie's mind.
Rosie's breath caught, and there was a moment's pause. Then she shoved Whisper away. "You don't understand!" There was a loud boom outside, and the lights flickered into darkness.
Whisper frowned and pressed her fingers to her ear, where she had a communication device. --- (Haha. I'll just throw him in for the sake of it. He's somewhat intruiged by what's going on.)
Ray stopped at the closet door and stared down. He heard a distant splash. He sighed. Why did it have to be water? Why did he even come here? It really didn't feel worth it to jump. He closed his eyes. He could just go away and return to his uninteresting life, or he could find out what was going on. Very well then. Leaning forwards, he tipped into the hole of the closet. He hit the water with a loud smack, making large waves. Then he sunk to the bottom. There at the bottom, he sat, holding his breath. He looked up, watching Jerome's form above.

When he disappeared from sight, Shadow felt her eyes go wide against her own accord, and turned on instinct, barely dodging his move to slam her against the wall, though she still happened to clumsily sidestep. When she righted herself, her eyes glowed a white color, no pupils present as she held out a hand, summoning a ball of white energy and flinging it at him.
Meanwhile, Vesper only stared on in stark annoyance at the two.
— “Someone just entered the base!” Ress screamed out in alarm, as the alarms set in, coating the base in red flashes of light.
Beside her, Enix sighed in annoyance, turning off the alarms and walking into the hall, where she spotted Ollie sporting a few wounds. Immediately she was by him, eyes wide. “Who did this?” She question, almost softly, placatingly pacing her hands on his back to help support him.

Jerome turned his head and lookex blindly at the pool."Who have you brought with you?"The woman asked over the intercom.
Jerome sighed and looked up at the speaker on the side of the wall."I think it's Ray,some guy I met earlier. He doesn't seem to posses the thoughts nor drive to hurt anyone."
Silence gripped the the hallway for a few minutes before the buzz sounded again."Ok,he's ok."

The glow of the white energy forced him to look away. He blinked away from the blast, and a after a couple moments, blinked again so he was in the air in front of Shadow. His black weighted staff streaked downwards, towards her head. --- "I had a run-in with Orion." Ollie chuckled painfully in spite of himself. "I was careless." It was more than that, but Ollie didn't know if he was ready to share that much, yet. He sagged a bit against Enix when she came to his support. He closed his eyes against a wave of dizziness, his breath catching for a few moments. "We have to stop him... Before it's too late."

Ray pushed up and broke the surface. He grabbed onto the edge of the pool and pulled himself out. He came out just in time to hear the woman say, "Ok, he's ok."
"Heh? I didn't know you had a girlfriend down here," Ray commented without much thought.

Shadow glared, she hated his confusing power. She hated everything about this world. She turned, abruptly trying to find him, and spotted him raising his staff at her.
It reminded her a little too much of something else. Her eyes filled with uncharacteristic fear as she staggered backwards, falling back, just short of the staff hitting her head. Though she fell to the ground with a rough grunt, nursing her arm and glaring up. “Golly, your anga’ is a bit high strung, don’t cha think?”
— Enix frowned, concern etching over her features as she narrowed her eyes, “What, exactly, happened?” She questioned, prompting further with, “Careless how?” It seemed she wasn’t prepared to let him go on the topic.

"And I didn't know you could swim,so I guess that makes us even."Jerome replied with a chuckle before starting to walk down the hall.It was a long hall.A very long hall. And every 5 or so feet there was a door. And each door contained a series of numbers and letters. Some doors were made from wood, while others glass, some metal, and one was even made of ice!He knew what was behind them but soon realized Ray didn't.
"Oh,um....these doors all keep an experiment from causing harm."He explained."Of course to be honest most of them don't want to hurt anyone. But the ones that got shipped here for acting out are mainly the ones behind metal doors.Except for the ice one,I'm not sure what's up with that one."
He kept walking and then turned down a side hall branching off the main one until he came to a set of double doors that towered over Jerome to which then the blind man opened.
Inside sitting at a desk at the far end was a man with red hair and green eyes. His pale white skin bore strange tattoos that looked like a bunch of plain old lines. But other than that he wore the usual suit and tie."Welcome back Jerome, and friend of Jerome. What is it that brings you here?"He asked the both of them, but mainly looking at Ray.

Fury was past the point of listening. She was scared. He could practically taste it. It excited him. The tantalizing flavour blinded him. The end of his staff transformed into a spike, and next moment, he was standing above her. He stabbed downwards. The elimination of annoyance must be completed. --- Ollie was silent for a few minutes. "I met Holly's Shade," he said at last. He tried to limp towards the main room. The slash across his chest, and the arrow-wound in his leg hurt with every movement. --- Ray huffed. Fun fact, he couldn't swim. Earlier, he had just jumped to the edge of the pool, but he wasn't about to tell Jerome that. The walk was long and tiring, but the strange doors at least kept him vaguely interested. Whatever sketchy business they were running, Ray didn't know if he really wanted to know what was going on. They entered some large doors and Ray looked around the room, as the red-headed man spoke. He laughed under his breath when he was called, 'friend of Jerome'. It took him a few moments to realize that the man was looking at him. He gradually met man's eyes. "What? You talking to me? Heh. Well I'll tell you what brings me here. He's about yae-" He lifted his and to Jerome's height. "-tall and his name starts with J. Ring any bells?" After saying it, he wondered if he should perhaps lay off on the sarcasm. Maybe he had more reasons, maybe he didn't. Or maybe it all depended on whether or not he felt like sharing them.

The man smiled and stood up."Jerome here is good at that,he and his team are how half the experiments got here.Philo was-"He broke off and looked down."Jerome,"The man lifted his head and looked to Jerome."Philo took his own life. But before he died he released P C-65."
Jerome's initial shock was overtaken by curiosity."Now why would B4 be let out?"He turned to Ray."You're skin's thick, think you can survive a few tons falling on you?"He shook his head and turned to the red head."Listen Chris,Philo's dead,Steve's dead,Markus is out there trying to kill me,and now B4 is out there trying to kill the same guy some fire user is trying to kill.I'm blind now and I don't think-"He stopped as the man placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You two,go release MS2-5."And then went back to his desk."They're the only one who can fix this mess."
Jerome turned to Ray."Looks like we get to find out what's behind the ice door.If you're up for it,that is."

Enix blinked, her mouth falling open in dismay, but before she could even comment, a small whistle could be heard. The few candles that burned in the hallway flickered out like a gust of wind hit them, and perhaps a type did.
Then laughter, soft and almost childlike. “Are you sure she’s just Holly’s Shade, Child?” Questioned the girl. One from Holly’s memories, with bright white hair and pale blue eyes, skin the color of ivory, and a chilling smile to her face. Strange stitch like patterns marked her body, fractures of white light, like her oil barely held in one piece. Though, to be honest, a single pronoun of she/her didn’t fit them. They we’re beyond life and the ability to be one singular identity, so they just made up the visage of a ghostly girl, though they’re voice sounded like multiple together. They were Evanesce.
—
Shadow felt her fear almost dissipate, reminded of the last time a scepter or spear was pointed at her. Her face lit in resilience, and in just a moment, her eyes didn’t appear so monotone, almost like they gained color for the briefest of seconds. “Orion will never win,” she remarked, slow and tactful, seemingly lost. The color undetectable as the moment passed, replaced by classic monotone, hazardous anger replaced the resilience, almost lost at the same time.
She rolled out of the way, kicking out at his leg, she didn’t like the situation. For some reason, it brought up strange feelings, things like memories that she shouldn’t have. It brought more to aspect, things she direly tried to forget.

Ollie stopped when a chill seemed to breath through the tears of his clothing. He lifted his gaze and caught sight of Evanesce. "You." His eyes narrowed and he gritted his teeth so he could stand a little straighter. "What are you doing here?" --- Fury fell, but easily rolled backwards, back onto his feet. He was hunched, and had the look like that of a wild animal. He didn't move. Instead, he studied Shadow with his dark eyes.

“Talking, would you like some tea?” Evanesce asked, chill and poised, with a mug in their hand and pale eyes staring Ollie down. “Glad to see you remember me, forgotten one.” They commented, smirking as the rolled their eyes, “And I’m offering help. Don’t you want your little friend back?”
—
She didn’t do much else, her dark eyes narrowed as she stood. “Don’t test me,” She snapped, backing up before turning away, “I’ll always win.”

Chris smiled as Ray agreed to help Jerome."Well off you two go."He stated cheerfully before picking up some papers and starting to read them."Ok CC90,what'd you do this time?"He muttered to himself as the other two walked out of the room.
Jerome retraced his steps down the hall, turning into the other, then walking down that one, stopping only once, when he got to the ice door with MS2-5 inscribed into it.Looking at the control pad to the left of it he typed the callsign into it and with a loud crack the door started to rise.
Once it had risen a tall, slim figure stepped out of the door, cold radiating from it like opening a freezer door.Except 10 times colder. And you can't close the door.
The entity slipped into one of the lights hanging from the ceiling and stared around at Jerome and Ray.Once it was in the light it's features became clear.
It was a strange looking think in simple terms.Tall and skinny like Slenderman but it's skin was a strange shade of orange and light tended to reflect off it.It had no eyes, just six dark holes where it's eyes would have been. Then it had two sets of wings on its back. One of the same shade as its skin but the other, smaller pair was a luminescent blue, like that of Steve's mushrooms.
That's when it clicked for Jerome. The significance of MS2-2 and it being able to counter P C-65."You're the one that brought the glowing mushrooms to Earth aren't you? You're the one that gave Steve his abilities."
"Well looky at who pieced it all together!"It suddenly spoke, its voice as icy as the room it was in.But it also sounded like the voice was coming from behind Jerome. But when Jerome looked at the creature, his vision flashing on and off since he opened the door,it wasn't moving its mouth. And then Jerome realized Ray hadn't heard Jerome."Speak with your mouth, not your mind!"He barked at it within his mind.
And then its mouth opened. And it's voice was more icy than in Jerome's mind."You two want Hive to kill B4 now do you? What happens if he just keeps killing himself, huh?"Hive then looked up and from its mouth spat a strange green fungi that ate at the ceiling before it used its wings to fly out of the hole and to the surface.
Jerome turned to Ray,his vision back to black."Sooo.....I think I just released an alien/genetic reshuffler into the city."
(Sorry if it's too much or confusing to read.I kinda got excited xD

Ollie's eyes widened. Her words rung true, but he was still wary. "Why would you help us?" --- Fury didn't like Shadow. Not one bit. Her actions irritated him. Her words irritated him. He knew only one way to get rid of that irritation. The guttural sound slipped from his throat and he took a step towards her retreating form. --- (No, it's great! ^^)
"Heh?" Ray glanced between Jerome and the strange orange slenderman. Jerome was saying the thing had been speaking to his mind. Before he could fully realize what was happening, the thing went and flew away threw the ceiling. Ray stared up at the hole that was left, and rain spattered his face. "I wish I could fly," he mused to himself. He glanced at Jerome when he spoke. "A what now?"

Enix stared warily, confused but intrigued.
Evanesce shook their head, crossing their arms and floating midair, sitting like a child. A small childlike laugh escaped them, oh this was very entertaining indeed. But his question had them back in reality, staring at the ground. “What a question, Ollie. I can’t believe I forgot how smart you are,” a sadness reached their aspect, perhaps for the briefest of moments. They stared at both the people in the hall, before settling on Ollie, “You know who I was before...I became this, right?” They questioned, holding out a hand as if opening a bit of their soul to see. Metaphorically, of course.
— Shadow stalked by Umbra, who glared at her retreating form before glaring back at Fury. “You don’t want to do that,” Umbra warned, pale eyes narrowed, it wasn’t a threat, it didn’t hold malice, but a strong conviction and warning. Though, Shadow wouldn’t be the thing to fear.
(Goodness, this is going to be very interesting soon.)

"A genetic reshuffler is an entity that can change the genetic make up of anything it chooses. But it's easier to focus on one thing so in our case MS2-5 can basically make a fungus do whatever they need it to do."Jerome explained as he stared up through the hole, vision blinking in again."Like whatever they just spat to make this hole. They start off with a basic fungus and do some weird alien parasite thing and bam!Now it eats metal. The blue you saw on its wings was the colour of the blue mushroom type fungi that my pal Steve had.Not much to learn about it other than anyone without the correct genetic make up gets paralyzed from contact."And then without warning he shot a portal up the hole then underneath them. They then appeared right where they started outside the gate. But of course MS2-5 was there and used its thick skinned arm to backhand the pair a few feet from where they stood.
"Talking to them is one thing, but following strangers has got to be something frowned upon here."It spat as it started flying again, its wings now the same shade of green as the acidic fungi,no longer blue.

Ollie inwardly flinched at the use of the word, forgot. At her last question, his gaze dropped to the floor, and the blue crystal glowed softly beneath his tattered cloak. "The experiments..." --- Fury glanced at Umbra, the sound in his throat halting. It was surprising, since the only person he seemed to listen to was Orion. Fear and hate battled in his gaze, every fear countered by a greater hate. Whatever it was, he had to destroy something now. He spun around and stalked away. Next time, he might not be able to control himself. --- "Huh. Sounds like something my father would have liked," Ray stated dryly. Next thing he knew, a hole opened up beneath them, and they were teleported away. He wished Jerome would give a little more warning. "Seriousl-" Before he could finish, the alien backhanded them. Ray's head was turned to the side, and he had taken a step back to avoid falling. Ray turned his head forwards again and watched him take flight. "I don't like that guy."

Jerome stood up and shook his head as to clear it.He could feel his bones turning to metal as his body adapted to the newly found situation."I am this close to sicking B4 on you!"He growled at MS2-5.
"B4?That lumbering oaf is still around?"The creature floated down to the ground, its feet looking like three triangles on each leg,two in front and one in back."Well this changes things."P C-65 is always raging about in the city, what's with wrong with him this time?"It asked with a tilted head and icy voice."Oh where are my Earthly manners?"They held out a hand, which was just three long fingers,to Ray since he was the closest."Hello,I'm MS2-5.But most people tend to call me Cockroach."

“The what?” Enix questioned, eyes wide as she looked at the ghost and then Ollie, but she was interrupted by Evanesce holding up a hand.
Evanesce instead looked at Ollie, “It has been brought to my attention that...someone I once knew is a shade.” They didn’t specify anything, though their voice gave a connotation, like the phrase was both a truth and a lie, “And not someone that I could toy with, someone who was once dear to us.” They turned away slightly, eyes focusing on the opposite wall, “All I ask is that you save her.”
— Umbra sighed as he walked off, though once he was far enough away, she turned sharply to Shadow, eyes blazing, “What was that?”
“Pathetic,” Shadow simply responded, seemingly not intimated at all, “They’re all so pathetic.” She commented, glaring at Umbra. “You’re pathetic.”
With that, the little shadow walked away, nose held high, though doubt hid in her gaze.
Umbra shook her head in turn, sensing someone near her. Orion, who had seemed to notice her, approached slowly. Though Umbra spoke first, soft, but clear.
“You didn’t achieve anything by what you did to us, Orion.” She commented, before smirking slightly, “And try as you might, you can control us forever.”
Silence, before she spoke up again.
“Only I see how this ends.” He nodded, almost calmly, he had changed destiny more than a few times. “It’s not pretty for anyone.” Was all she said, and the two stood in silence.

Ray frowned as the two talked. It seemed Jerome's threat had succeeded. The orange creature with a name of numbers came back down to the ground. Ray stared at the three-fingered hand it extended, vaguely surprised at the 'friendly' motion so soon after being backhanded by the same hand. "Cockroach, huh? Now that's a name I can remember." Ray took the alien's hand and gave it a casual shake. "Call me Ray." --- Ollie glanced at Enix for a moment, but looked back at Evanesce when they continued to speak. All the memories he had gathered on the being were a mixture of terrible events, violence and manipulation. Not only that, but something about their voice gave him the chills. Under normal circumstances, he would by no means trust them. But if it meant Holly could be saved... "And I suppose you know how?" He tried to hide the desperation that awakened within. He knew there was more to Shadow than what met the eye. If there was any way he could save her, he would. Holly not only saved him with her life, but she tried to save him as a shade as well. Whether she was Holly or Shadow in the end, he surely owed her something. --- (And Fury goes and destroys something. XD Man. It's always interesting to see how their personalities develop. At least he has a little more depth now. ^^)
