Xavier gave a wry smile and he nodded. "Yeah I'm fine," he tried to assure the other. His face was sore but he was still in one piece so all was good. Running a hand through his short choppy black hair, he breathed out deeply, reassuring his body that he could calm down now. "Come with me to my room. I'd like to talk there," he said after a moment of gathering his thoughts. Then he began to walk towards his room, making sure Akimi was following.
(Morning! How are you today?)

(Pretty good myself.)
Xavier nodded in understanding. "I understand. Things got a bit heated between Luka and I. But my mother and father weren't so angry as surprised," he explained as they reached his bedroom. Opening the door, he allowed Akimi to go in first before following. Closing the door behind him, he leaned against it, shoulders lax. "My mother seemed surprised but not hugely. Then again she and I have always been close so she probably noticed my doubts," he continued with a slight raise of his shoulders.

(Oh cool!)
Xavier grimaced and shrugged. "I'm not quite sure, to be honest," he admittedly with a slight grin. Then he shook his head and went to his bed which he flopped onto with a tired sigh. "Don't remind me of the power hungry neighbors," he whined. They were the last thing on his mind right now. The way they jumped at any given chance really got him angry. Like seriously? Rule your own kingdom, if you want one so bad!

Xavier groaned and rolled onto his stomach, totally not pouting. "Why did I have to be born into royalty?" He asked no one in particular. Then he took a deep breath and sat up, a hard look on his face. "I refuse to bow to them. I won't cower just because they see my marriage falling out as a weakness. I'm having second thoughts because my heart is with two people. So what?" Standing, he paced now. Shaking his head, he stopped and then walked out to the balcony he had. Placing his hands on the railing, he gazed out over the royal gardens and smiled. "This isn't a weakness in my kingdom. Just negotiation of sorts," he muttered to himself, firmly. There wouldn't be an invasion any time soon. He wouldn't let that happen not now, not ever.

Turning around, he frowned at the man he had feelings for. "Why would we go to war when it is not needed nor wanted?" he asked. Shaking his head he stepped away from the railing and back into his bedroom. "I see what you are saying. But pretend to be weak? I'm not sure I like that idea," he said with a shrug.

Xavier sighed but nodded in agreement. "I suppose. As for relaxing, I don't see that happening anytime soon," he muttered to himself mostly. He wanted to relax but wither everything going on he felt restless. Make he could go for a ride? "I don't think I can sit and do nothing at this moment. So I'm going to go ride. Would you like to come with?" the prince offered with a lopsided grin.

(I was thinking more realistic. But then again fantasy is fun too... Which would you rather it be?)
Grinning, he led the way out of his bedchambers and towards the stables. He really needed to get out, now that he really thought about it. Arriving at the stables, he walked in and wondered which horse he should take. There were so many and he had no favorite among them. His favorite had sadly died in war some years back. Then his eyes landed on a pale stallion, with seas green eyes much like his. That and a wild look in his eyes. Nodding, he moved over to it. "Hey buddy," he murmured.

(We'll go with realistic this time.)
Leading the horse out, he swiftly saddled him and then swung up into the saddle. "Let's go to the waterfalls," he suggested with a large grin. Then he clicked his tongue, turned and took off galloping towards the trees. Xavier smiled all the while he rode, eyes sparkling with happiness. He absolutely loved to ride, so this was the best thing for him to do right now.
