- When people give someone crap simply because of the way they headcanon a certain character.
- I honestly dislike modern Human!Warriors AUs.
- Also, when people put someone down just because they draw cat ears and tails on humanized Warriors characters. I personally do this a lot, but in rare instances, I've seen the "cat-people" thing done very well! (They're done well bc it ties in with the lore/story/world/etc., not just making them all "nekos" for no reason.)
- Unrealistic/over-the-top names that have nothing to do with any aspect of the cat whatsoever (ie. Tamarindfur, Hydrangeapaw).
- Calling Firestar a "Mary-Sue" in general. He may be the main character and all, but he's not "perfect". He's got a round character and flaws, which is what a good character should be.
- Discourse over something silly, such as "who does Sunningrocks belong to?"

When people say the cats being genetically accurate would be boring, when in reality that's quite the opposite. Yes, you have the common ginger, cream, gray, tortoiseshell, black and brown tabby, but there's so much more than that. There's silver, silver-shaded cats, silver tortoiseshells, amber cats, russet cats, colorpoints, albinos, chocolate, cinnamon, lilac, fawn and any of those as tortoiseshells, white recessive genes, cool looking chimeras, different types of tabbies, various mutations, the list just goes on! When people have names like "Hopefeather", "Darkback", "Boltsand", "Dogfoot" and "Tigerbite". They just sound really weird and un-Warriors like to me at least. Also having names that end in -ed or -ing. Fanfictions that have canon characters as OOC characters. I've seen this with a few Bramblestar and Jessy fanfics that pain Squirrelflight in a negative light. Also other fanfictions that try to force people to sympathize bad guy and hate the good guy. I also don't really like how a lot of things in fanfictions are black and white and not gray. This might have already been said a few times, but when people flat-out excuse villainous actions because a character "loved too much" or "had a bad childhood". Yes I get it, having bad childhoods or being rejected can cause someone to act out, but it shouldn't excuse their actions because they still have control over them. But aren't certain breeds of cats limited to certain type of traits, meaning they're incapable of having certain features. So where as there's a variety of different genetics and possibilities, there's no actually free range for fictional work...especially when it comes to certain cats becoming mates. Like two gray cats will most likely make....more gray cats....

Others, which tend to be more inbred, might have more restrictions (plus, traits don't always happen in only specific breeds). There is a large possibility of cats you can get as long as it isn't two solid fawn cats or two pink-eyed alibinos. You just can't be caring about how common genes are.

I confess, I don't have an issue having a black cat with blue eyes, and Rosetail's design is rather interesting, but sometimes authors do take it a tad too far.
