XD I laughed out loud at that )
Ahior blinked, he could admit it. That had actually surprised him. Smoothing his features back into one of indifference he shrugged "I won't stop you. You can try and keep up." he wouldn't get anything for murdering her, not even the pay from a job. Until someone put a price on her head he would just ignore her. Clicking his tongue and tapping his horses sides with his heels he started back along the path.

(Yesssss)
Devora smirked under her mask. Good, he was stuck with her for a little while. She figured that all she needed to do was at least wait for the horse to get tired, or something like that. She soon fumbled with her satchel while starting after the stupid horse. She easily kept her head held up while walking along. Of course this was more like a death wish, but she could care less at the moment.

Listening to her steps Ahior urged the horse a little faster. His horse may not be fast, but what it lacked in speed it made up in endurance. He was more likely to get tired. At some point he would have to stop, but it wouldn't be hard to shake her off before then.

Great, now he was intentionally trying to lose her. She couldn't really blame him, Devora wasn't the best company anyway. Still, she was managing to keep him in sight at the very least. Maybe this was a test in itself? Yeah! Enduring long treks and shifts while on missions was part of every mission. He was unwittingly preparing her for such a task! Or so she thought.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] .. Tristard wasn't going to give up easily, not yet. Despite the high risk of the situation, he got back up, getting close to the path but not close enough to be seen. He decided that it would be smart to follow them instead of attacking them right away like he just did, and wait until night to drag away the one that had no horse. He would be stronger then, and maybe they wouldn't expect him to still be nearby. He could have the advantage of surprise..

An hour. She had followed him at that pace for an hour. Even Ahior, one of ultimate patience, was starting to get irritated. It was about time to stop and let his horse drink. At the next river passing he pulled to the side and jumped from his horses back, leading it by reign to the waters side.

Devora was convinced that she was dying some kind of slow and painful death. An hour of this... She nearly wanted to hug him as he stopped the horse so it could drink by the river. That was when she proceeded to kneel on the soft earth, and soon flop on her side. She let out another groan of relief while her tail flicked around every now and then. Oh this wasn't okay, she had no idea how horses could take this long of walks.

Ahior smirked, spotting her crumpled form on the ground. She certainly had determination. His horse was still drinking so he opted to stay there a while longer. Kneeling down he took a drink himself. The ride hadn't really made him thirsty, but who knew when he would decide to stop next.

Devora glanced over to the Kajit with a huff, then slowly sat herself up to try drinking some water. She was almost tempted to swim, but that would be stupid. Every fiber in her body said no to any water. She reluctantly lowered her face mask, and was sipping water with cupped hands.

Ahior leaned away from the water. The ran the back of his hand across his muzzle to get rid of any water left there. The water had been chilled and felt nice against his travel heated fur. Stretching he gently patted his horse and mounted again "Ready for round two?" he asked, feigning concern. It was getting dark, but that wouldn't stop him. He had great night vision.

Devora slowly stood on her feet, even if her leg were a little wobbly as they were. "You-you know it." she managed to say while she slipped on her face mask before looking down the road a little. That was when she started to move after him, knowing that he would probably just get a head start in the first place. that wouldn't have been fair at all.

Ahior moved at a slower pace, a map out in front of him. He may or may not have been giving her a chance to catch her breath. Or he was making sure he was going the right direction. A rogue outpost was a couple miles ahead and unless he was looking for another fight he would want to avoid it. Rolling it back up he put it into his saddle bag and focused on the road once again.

Devora grumbled out some more for a good moment or two. That was when she was letting her eyes adjust to the change of light. It was getting darker, so thank goodness that she could see better than if she were some full blooded Breton. She let out a low huff, surprised that she was able to keep up at an easier pace. Maybe she was already getting better with this? Maybe so.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] The light was fading. He could feel his strength beginning to return. This was his chance to attack now. He came out from the woods, but instead of loudly lashing out at them, he began to sneak up on Devora from behind, using the growing shadows to his advantage.

Ahior was ahead of Devora and didn't hear the vampire over the sounds of the night. His steed shook its head and was uneasy. The assassin pulled lightly on the reigns to get it back under control.

At this point, Devora was more focused on her target, the Kajit, than actually paying attention to her surroundings. Her legs occasionally wobbled like a newborn foal's, and her breathing was becoming slightly labored. She tried to comfort herself with listening to the crickets. How long had it been since she slept outside like this? Never, especially with the risk of wolves prowling around. She couldn't trust trees too well either, especially since she didn't want to risk angering some spriggan.

Hawkeyes258 "I believe I shall be leaving now. I do not wish to spend too much time here, especially since some other unwelcome guests might decide to arrive... So many distrust dragons, but they have a right too." He yawned and shook his head, then looked around cautiously. "Maybe some other time we shall meet again."

Hawkeyes258 Dremqoth straightened up and spread his large wings, lifting himself up into the air. "Mu los nunon hefahdon viilut nu. Dreh ni lorot mu los fahdon." He stared down at Jaxxas for a moment, then flew off into the sky, roaring once again. He actually felt glad, knowing that not all thought of him as some blood thirsty killer that destroyed everything in his path. Of course, he still loved to have some battles here and there, but he would never try to kill an innocent being, even if it costed his life. That was not something he would ever even dream of.

Jaxxas waved goodbye to the large dragon. He lets out a sigh of relief and rubbed the back of his neck. "Now that was something." He mumbled softly to himself. Jaxxas smirked knowing his Guild members were not going to believe it.

The vampire had followed them. Ahior pulled back on the reigns, stepping out of the vampires range. The half breed would be on her own. The vampire was already on her before he could draw his bow.

Devora let out a screech as something grabbed her from behind. Instinctively, she was thrashing around like crazy, using whatever she could to escape and pull away. That only resulted in the knife being stabbed into her side. She gasped out and pulled out her own nails in an attempt to twist herself around and slash his face.

The assassin watched, bow in hand. Maybe this was the time to test her ability. If she really wanted to join them she would have to be skilled enough. Deciding that was the best course of action, Ahior told himself that if it got too dangerous he would intervene. Another arrow to the vampire and it would either run, die, or stay long enough for him to get a real fight in.

Devora was on the ground clutching her side as if that pressure alone would stifle the bleeding. Her breathing was labored while her eyes were now narrowed with anger. Of course the other Kajit would be uninvolved with this. Perfect. Just perfect. She growled slowly to the vampire while taking out her dagger, proceeding to try slashing at him again as he got close to her.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] He suddenly moved forward in a swift motion in an attempt to stab her yet again, but he was caught off guard as her weapon cut through his arm. Hissing in frustration, he backed away. He could see the other kahjiit watching the small skirmish. What was he up to, why wasn't he helping his comrade? Whatever the reason, he was just glad that she seemed to be having to fight this battle alone. It made it easier. "Looks like you're out of luck this time.." He sneered as he once again approached, reaching out to try to grab her. If he succeeded, she would most likely be dragged into the dark and killed off for her blood. Unless something else happened, but at this point he doubted it.
