[ C H A T ] Just realized that my character Tristard is free to roleplay. I think I'll just wait a bit before I decide to roleplay with anybody. :')

Whoever was tailing him was making an attempt to silence their steps, and it might work against someone else, but Ahior had been trained as an assassin for most of his life. He deduced that it wasn't another assassin, their steps were too loud, and if that were true he would have no problem taking them on in a fight. Granted, there were plenty of people who matched him in strength and pure fighting ability. None of them though, would try to approach him this way if they were looking for a fight. The questions was why whoever was following him, was following him.

She may have been able to keep this up for a good while, but Devora lacked the patience and discipline to keep her urges under control. She stifled a little groan of frustration before narrowing her eyes. "Ugh, are you even going anywhere important?" she demanded as she stomped her foot on the ground. She couldn't help it, the young woman had enough of the following, especially when he had a horse to do the walking for him. Her tail lashed around her legs, while her ears were a little flattened. She still had her mask covering her mouth and nose, even then, her face was clearly more human than anything else.

"Even if I was, I wouldn't tell you." Ahior hummed, eyes still focused on the road ahead "Especially with a temper like that." he wasn't going to involve himself with her. Originally at least. She gave him the perfect opportunity to call her out. His hearing was good, maybe a bit better than she had expected.

Devora made a face at him while she crossed her arms over her chest. That was when she jogged a little so she was at least flanking the horse's side. Now she didn't have to keep an eye out for droppings it may leave. "Oh you know nothing." she rolled her eyes as she was doing her best to keep up the pace with his horse. "You going into a town? I know we're on the road leading north." she huffed while fixing her hood so it was properly secure on her head.

"Seems like you aren't completely dense. At least you know directions." he turned his head to watch her from the corner of his eye "What inspired you to talk to a complete stranger? I don't know if they taught you this when you were young, but talking to strangers, especially strangers in black and red, is dangerous." he sounded overall disinterested, but a gleam in his eyes warned her to watch herself.

Devora wasn't sure if she should take that as a compliment or an insult. Then again, she really wasn't the sharpest knife in the arsenal when it came to games of banter. She kept silent for a moment or two. Then her ears flicked a little bit as he pointed out he was indeed wearing read and black. Maybe she could use this to her advantage? Not likely. "Mother was too busy kicking father around for her to teach me to be what bits of a proper lady I could have been." she rolled her eyes. "Besides, I could benefit with red and black." she added.

"Oh? Heard of the infamous group of assassins?" he noted that she seemed to realize exactly what the coloring meant, along with the fact she took the insult in stride. Not something many could do without getting angry and challenging him to a duel. A duel they would most certainly lose if they lose their cool that easily.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] The vampire had once again set out to search for people. He knew it was a bad idea to do so while out in the daylight, but he had no choice. He was starting to get desperate, and needed to feed soon. He made sure to stick to the areas densely covered by the trees, so he wouldn't be as affected by the painful burn of the bright light. Almost immediately he could hear some voices nearby, and the hoofsteps of a horse. It looked like he wouldn't have to search for long.

(Getting out of a duel due to lack of common sense XD)
"Mmh." Devora nodded in response as she was looking to the trees, "I cut a man's throat instead of just being his lover for a day, I found it much easier to reap coin from spilling blood." she explained. "Though a handful of people had already warned me to back off, they were dressed in black and red..." she trailed off at the scent of something weird. Granted, she had no real clue as to what a vampire smelled like, but something smelled off about the air.

Ahior pulled his horse to a stop. His eyes narrowed and his hands went his his weapons "They were right to warn you, and it's best that you listen to their warnings." The assassins had met his fair amount of vampires, and every time was terrible. He wouldn't come out and tell you you were scum to you face, unless you were a vampire. Every single time he had come across one it turned out to be a bad day.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] As he got closer, he could suddenly see them. He noticed that they seemed to be alert, almost as if they were expecting him.. He was now scared. What if they were already expecting him to attack? It wasn't like he could just simply fight them both. The sun would make him weaker against two opponents. He crouched down, watching them carefully to see what they would do..

"Or I can actually learn from it." she huffed while looking around a little more. "You smell that too, right?" she asked while she pursed her lips for a moment or two. A part of her was itching for her little dagger, then again, would he take that as a threat? The most she could do was keep herself wary. Maybe now a fight could prove her decent potential? Yeah, it would take more than that.

The khajiit nodded, eyes scanning the area. They were stood in a patch of light and both were armed. Was this vampire bold enough to try and take them both. He couldn't vouch for the other, but Ahior could tell she was at least decent with a weapon.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] Tristard could tell that they definitely expected something to happen. He couldn't control his hunger anymore. It was neither now or never at this moment, even if it meant getting injured in the process. He dashed out into the open, arms outstretched as he reached to grab Devora. He had no idea if he had any chance of surprising them, but he hoped he did.

Of course a vampire would lash out and attack the weak link. That was when she panicked and took her dagger to slash in the general direction of the foe. She wasn't caring about where she aimed for, she just knew better than to let a creature like him so much as scratch her. The best she could do was hiss defensively and take out a sword so she could better defend herself, she figured the Kajit could handle his own.

Ahior pulled his horse around and notched an arrow in record time, he calmly took aim and let lose. He didn't have a crossbow with him, a well placed arrow could do an equal amount of damage at least. The vampire was about as bold as the half breed. So much for the easy trip back.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] He quickly stepped back to avoid the dagger that was slashed at him, but in doing so he didn't notice the arrow flying at him. It managed to lodge itself into his shoulder, which in turn shocked him and made him stumble to the side. He hissed in pain, now having to deal with a new injury as well as the blazing heat that the sun cast on him.

Devora wasn't stupid, she was bold, but not stupid. Stepping back, it was clear the vampire was injured and in no position to attack them, not if it valued its skin. A warning growl escaped her while she bared what feline fangs she had under her mask. Oh well, that defeated the purpose, but it was the thought that mattered. Besides, she was now fueled by adrenaline rather than sheer will.

Kicking his horse into movement he jumped forwards and sent arrow after arrow. He was moving in a circled around the vampire. His horse was moving slower than he would have liked, but the clearing they were in was small. It she tripped on a root it would be over and he would have to continue the battle on foot.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] After another arrow had hit him, he decided that it was best to give up. He was hungry, but he valued his life more than blood. He waited for the right moment, and then jumped away, making it past the horse that was circling him. He tore the arrow away from his flesh, and then held a hand to the fresh wound, quickly disappearing back into the trees. He hoped that they wouldn't follow.

Devora flattened her ears a bit as the vampire ran off the way he did. Every part of her was telling her she could run and kill it while it was injured. But that would mean she would probably run off from the Kajit, and she sort of needed to follow him around. That was when she looked to him and the horse. "You're pretty good with a bow." she said with a bit of a shrug.

Ahior watched the vampire run away, every instinct told him to go and finish the creature. The less vampires in the world the better. Tearing his gaze away from the distant figure he looked down at her "I have been trained with it the most." was his only reply.

"Let me be part of the Brotherhood." Devora finally couldn't keep up what charade they had. It was time she was direct and got to the point. "Come on, I'm good enough to be warned by a guild of assassins, imagine what I can do if I was trained under you guys!" she fought the urge to beg. There was no way she would be able to stoop that low.

Ahior snorted "I'd offer membership to my horse before you." he wasn't in charge of recruitment anyways. That was up to their leader "If you haven't been recruited yet you still have a long way to go." his eyes narrowed as he watched her reaction. He slung his bow back over his back and held the reigns in a relaxed grip.

[ R O L E - P L A Y ] Once he knew that they weren't running after him, or at least hoped they weren't, Tristard stopped. He collapsed next to an old tree, wincing as he lifted his hand away from where the arrow had hit. He wouldn't be able to recover easily during the day. It was a mistake to attack at this time..

(*cues music* Shot through the heart, and you're to blame~!)
Devora grimaced. Now that was an insult if she ever heard one. She let out a small growl while her ears twitched irritably. "Then I'll just have to follow you around, by then I'll learn so much from you that they'll have to recruit me!" she said stubbornly. She wasn't expecting him to train her as she followed, she was practically demanding it. Of course she was desperate in the first place.
