Theodosia K. Bradford
Having once been in a wealthy household, Theo had barely been required to lift a finger. The only thing her father expected her to do was make something of herself which, due to his social standing, she once thought would be an easy task. Currently, however, as the twenty year old found herself attempting to fit 300 cupcakes into the back of her dodge challenger, she realized that she was greatly mistaken. Since her father had cut her off, the young woman realized she'd need a source of income if she ever hoped to be able to maintain the lifestyle she was accustomed to. Granny Anny's had been severely understaffed, with Granny Anny herself being the only person working there. Despite this, it was a well known little bakery and the food was quite good which lead Theo to question why exactly people refused to work at the quaint little bakery.
"Oh, and Theodara-" Still juggling a rather heavy case of cupcakes, the alleged "Theodara" huffed, blowing a few stray hairs out of her face, and regarded her boss with a mixture of annoyance and mild irritation in her eyes.
"Once again, it's Theodosia, Madame. Yes?" She ground out, plastering a sickly sweet smile on to her countenance. Granny Anny sat just outside the bakery, an iced-tea in once hand and cigarette in the other, surrounded by a few other old women. The grey-haired old woman took a long drag of the cig, nodded at something one of her friends murmured to her, and billowed out a thick cloud of smoke. Right. Into. Theo's. Face.
"Once those cupcakes are delivered, be sure to head straight back. I've just received another order of 200." Theodosia coughed and hacked as she tried her best not to breathe in too much. Once she could breathe, she nodded and stuffed the last box of cupcakes into the backseat of her car.
"Do you think you can start on them while I'm gone?" Theo found herself asking despite already knowing the answer she would receive. Anny winces at the question, grabbing her knee with a wrinkled, liver-spotted hand.
"Oh, you know I'd love to assist you Theo. But-but my-"
"Yes, yes, I know. Your knee hurts, you have a hernia, you husband just left you. I get it!" The only young woman present exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air in surrender as she hopped into the driver seat. You see, in spite of having her own successful business, Anny was a lazy old hag. When her husband left her for another woman, Anny sued him and managed to snag the bakery that he had named after her. The staff that worked in the bakery previously had quit after merely a week under Anny's management because the old woman barely showed up to work and didn't do anything the rare times she did make an appearance. I swear, if it wasn't for the paycheck, I wouldn't be here! Theo brooded as she started up the car and pulled off. She had just stopped at a red light when her phone went off; blaring the Kim Possible ringtone. She stole a quick glance at the still red light before turning her attention to the message she received.
Nolan's Ex (Josephine) : Not to alarm anyone, but Ive just called EMS. Tyler fell down, he needs to go to the hospital.
Light brown eyes widened in surprise at the message and she found herself scanning it a few more times just to be sure she read it right. A loud horn from behind her, followed by some bald guy spewing a slew of highly inappropriate words, brought Theodosia out of her stupor; the light was now green. After gushing a few colorful words in response, flicking the bald guy off, and making a possibly illegal U-turn, Theo headed for the flat. "Jeez, only a few days in and crap is already happening."
One very fast and somewhat dangerous car ride later, and Theodosia pulled up in the flat parking lot. After parking rather unevenly and not even bothering to turn her car off, she booked it toward the elevator. Irritation crept into her as the elevator seemed to be taking it's sweet time reaching it's destination, but as soon as the elevator doors opened, Theo briskly headed toward the flat door, already able to hear sirens in the distance. How the heck did I beat them here? she questioned inwardly as she fumbled with her keys. Once finding the right key she jammed it into the lock and entered the flat. She did a quick sweep of the room and it's occupants with her eyes. It is upon noticing Barns does she realize that she is still in her uniform from work; and, upon making that realization, she also recalls the 300 cupcakes still in the back of her car...sh!t.
"How long has it been since he fell? Has anyone moved him?" Theo questioned, leaving the door open as she moved to stand next to Barnaby. She hadn't really gotten to know Tyler very well over the pass few days, but the death of her flat-mate, who was kind of a cool guy, she decided, after their first and pretty much only conversation, was no way to start the semester.

Josephine Hathaway.
Even though Josephine swore that she and Tyler were alone in the flat, it seemed that she had lucked out as she heard footsteps coming her way. The first to appear behind her was Ella. She musn't have been in the flat when he had fell because draped over her forearms were bags of groceries.
Josephine suddenly felt her heart calm down a little, even if she didnt know the girl well, who wanted to face such a situation alone. "I mean, I dont know? I think we should just wait and monitor him till the paramedics come?", she replied softly. The tone in her voice was indeed thoroughly confused because she didnt really know how to answer that question, and that really bothered her. What happened if she was in a situation where she was alone and couldn’t reach her phone ? God-forbid that this should happen again and with one of her close friends got hurt. Just the thought of it left a bitter taste in her mouth. Then much to her surprise, Barnaby walked in all casual like, clad in nothing but sweatpants and socks. He must’ve been lounging. Lucky for him, she didn’t have the mental capacity to be annoyed. Had he not heard Tyler fall too? It wasn’t like her room was on the other side of the flat. Still, Josephine nodded to Barns’ suggestions and turned back to Tyler, gently picking a ceramic shard from his hair. “ Yeah, they told me not to”, she answered his question quickly. Then out of nowhere, Theodosia appeared in the doorway. Now she looked frazzled, her curls were windblown and were starting to fluff up as a result of her rushing. “I mean, I texted you almost immediately after the fall”, she replied quickly. A small hint of annoyance was starting to spring in her stomach, it was probably a result of the situation coupled with a sudden barrage of questions. She felt overwhelmed, but they had every right to freak out too.
Luckily for them, she received a phone call within seconds, it was EMS telling her that they had arrived in the buildings lobby and were on their way up. “Okay, guys, EMS is coming, someone open the door”, she told them with a sure nod.
Soon enough, the paramedics arrived and did their primary assessment. Eventually he was strapped onto the gurney and shipped off to the hospital, Josephine had immediately gotten into her car and followed them to the hospital. Now one could find the blonde female sitting cross-legged in a waiting room chair. She rubbed the edge of her thumb against her bottom lip as she eagerly awaited for an update on Tyler.

Ariella Faye Harper
"Alright. Which one of you a--holes pushed Tyler from the loft?" - - -
My, what a whirlwind the past few days had been. Luckily for probably both Ari and her flatmates, the twenty-one year old had a good amount to do, keeping her out of the flat until late every night. As an in-season athlete, she was in the gym most of the time she wasn't in classes, and when she wasn't on campus doing either of those things, she was filling her timesheet at McClods' Bar and Grill as a bartender. Now, when she wasn't doing any of the aforementioned activities, the busybody was more than likely spending time at the Tri-Delt house on the other end of campus. And, of course, when not off wasting away her energy doing those things, she was eating, asleep, or doing homework in the study nook she had created in her room. It was on this day that one Miss Ariella Faye Harper shuffled from her last class, ending at 3:50pm, to the Grover Gymnasium for practice. As if the winds carried her, the slim lass arrived in the locker room three minutes later to change before the team's warmup mile. 6pm. Practice ended and the twenty-one year old right-side hitter was caked in sweat. She nodded her head to her coach before jogging out of the humid gym and back to the locker room. Dunking her body in cold water for a quick shower, she did her best to alleviate herself of as much stink as she could before scurrying out, changing into something acceptable for the night shift behind the bar. 6:21pm. And again she was off, dashing to the bus stop to catch the 6:27pm number 8 that would take her to the restaurant. 6:40pm. A confident hand reached up to signal the bus to stop, pulling at the cord down until a ding rang through the bus. The large vehicle began to slow, stalling next to the curb. Ari collected her belongings and scurried off the bus, dashing through the door and into the building right behind the bus stop. 6:45pm. Right on time. Officially on the clock, the raven-haired lass began to move about behind the bar, picking up after her co-worker who was nearing the end of his own shift and had, as a result, began to slack on the upkeep of the bar. As she moved around with ease, a buzz alerted her of an incoming message. Reaching into her pocket, she retrieved the Android and swiftly unlocked the device. Flat from Hell? Hm, the group hadn't been active until this very moment. Upon opening the messaging app, Jo's text appeared on the screen. Her murky gaze scanned the words a few more times, eyes widening at the message. Tyler had fallen? That was certainly not good. Her fingers raced across the phone screen as if possessed by the wind. To: Charlie's Angels, Mojojojo I'm at work right now, but I'll be there as soon as I can!! Hitting send, she shoved the phone into her pocket, breathily explained the situation to the other lad Jared, and dashed out from behind the bar. After getting approval to leave for a bit, the slim twenty-one year old hurried her little booty back out of the restaurant and down the sidewalk. If she kept a nice quick pace, she could get to the hospital in thirty minutes. Hopefully Tyler hadn't died by then, right? She could only hope. Okay, so she hardly knew the guy, but they lived together. How could she not go to support him in his time of need? It surely sounded as though he were on his deathbed, and she figured he'd maybe want at least one mildly friendly face there, right? Okay, she wouldn't... But Jo made it sound like everyone needed to rush to the hospital, so that's exactly what Ari was doing. Making better time than expected, the senior arrived in the main lobby of the hospital in 20 minutes. She paused to catch her breath, leaning against a pillar just inside the doors. Wait. No. Her not-really-a-friend-but-an-acquaintance-with-whom-she-lived was dying. She didn't have time to stop and catch her breath! So off she went again, dashing up the stairs (after figuring out which room he was in first, of course), and barging into the hospital room. " IS HE DEAD?" The question was thrown into the room as she entered, bending over to finally, actually, catch her breath now, eyes darting from face to face before landing on the the fallen lad.

ELLA WILLS "When the city got too small, she packed up her potential and all she had learned, and set out to change a few things." ◘ ◘ ◘ ◘
As soon as Ella was prompted that the EMS was coming, she dashed over to the door and ripped it open, stepping to the side to make room to let the help in. She watched anxiously as they strapped Tyler into a gurney and took him to the hospital. Jo soon followed, and feeling helpless, Ella went into the kitchen. She figured she could bring Jo and whoever else went to the hospital some cookies and coffee.
She worked up a storm in the kitchen, and within 30 minutes, the smell of fresh, melted chocolate and caramelized sugar filled the kitchen. Ella wiped down the counter, set the dishes that didn't belong in the dishwasher on a drying rack, and poured coffee into a large thermos. Grabbing some styrofoam cups, creamers, and packets of sugar, she shoved some cookie bars into a plastic container and got in her car.
She raced down to the hospital, her knuckles going white from how hard she held the steering wheel. Baking had gotten her through a lot of things, like when her parents fought. They'd had issues since she was young, from alcoholism and drugs to secret keeping, yet they'd managed to stay together over the years. Her heart warmed at the thought of her family, who had given their all to get her into college, and a smile played on her lips, easing the furrow in her brow and her tightly pursed lips.
She arrived at the hospital, smiling only to reassure herself everything was going to be ok, taking a seat next to Josie. "Any word?" She held up the thermos and the cookies. "I've got coffee and cookie bars."

Tyler Moane Ursal "You really think I'd give up that easily?" - - - The last thing he saw was a flash of his roommate's bedroom and flying colors. Could those colors have been his life flashing before his eyes? Probably not, but Tyler was the kind to see it like that.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
The monotonous beeping from the heart monitor beside him was keeping him under some sort of trance. He heard the buzz of voices around him, hearing different tones and feeling the presence of people around him. Mom? Dad? Lydia?
No, they weren't the right tones.
"IS HE DEAD?"
The loud shriek broke the quiet buzzing of voices, all of the words coming clear to him. His blue-hazel eyes split open, his eyes squinting against the harsh light of the room. He twitched his fingers, trying to alert everyone that he was awake. He heard another voice enter the room, something about... Coffee? Cookies?
Tyler's eyes slowly parted open again, taking in the blurry frames of everyone in the room. He was seeing double, and due to the fact that his glasses were nowhere to be seen, said double vision was blurry as hell. He slowly let his eyes open completely, the double vision slowly fading into one, now only seeing blurry shapes.
So many people surrounded him. How many were there? One.. Two... Three...
Oh.
That's right.
His flat mates.
Tyler licked at his cut lip, his eyes fluttering as he drifted in and out of consciousness. He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could he saw a large white body enter the room.
Is... Is that me? Am I dead? Oh my god I-
"Ah, Mr. Ursal! You're awake!" the figure spoke, his eyes following the white blob until they got close enough to get into focus.
Oh.
A doctor.
"Do you remember what happened?" the doctor asked, writing things down on that annoying clipboard.
The tall male closed his eyes again, trying to recreate the image in his head. He nodded, licking his lips before letting out one of the most raspy voices possible. "I was hungry as shhht," he smirked, opening his blue-hazel eyes before looking at Ella. "Am I well enough to drink some of that coffee? Tyeleerrr gotta have 'is caffeine," he chuckled to himself, smirking as he closed his eyes.
Was he drunk?
The doctor turned to the rest of the members in the room, giving them a warming smile. "Mr. Tyler Ursal will be good to go home in a few hours. Make sure he stays on the ground and feed him soft food. He's a little loopy, and may be for a few days. Fractured his foot, minor cuts on his left shoulder and back. Bruises, but that's normal if you fall down the stairs. Don't give him too much pain killers, no matter how much he begs. He'll crave it for a while, considering his foot. It should be healed within two months, four at the latest," he spoke, his eyes scanning across the clipboard. "I'll come back with a wheelchair in an hour or so, if you are willing to stay around."
And with that, the doctor parted ways.
Tyler looked around the room. Everyone was there? Wow. He looked at Ariella, raising his eyebrows before letting out a loud chortle.
"I ain't dead yet, sweetheart. Sorry to disappoint you," he chuckled, wiggling his free arm- the one not stuck by an I.V. "Heyyy, Ella? Be a lamb and bring me one of those cookies 'n' some coffee," he spoke, his eyes continued to stay closed.
