Wow, thanks Xia! That's great, and I really think it'll help us get the rp set up. I think we need to put a rules section in too and possibly a news section so we can keep up with things if we happen to have to miss a day or two because of a busy schedule.

Also, for the joining forms are we doing predetermined quotes? Or are we letting everyone pick their own out?
I'll take a look at the songs and stuff, too.

:'D I'm generally not privy to rules because I feel like a simple paragraph going over the basics is all that's needed for more "advanced" rpers who know what they're doing but I getcha, some people need those words written out Also yeah, a news section sounds awesome! I never was good at updating those though... xD
Let me go look at other rps and try to figure out how to get some cool coding going [ don't get your hopes up, my art might be decent but my coding is trash LMAO ]
And I feel like personalized quotes gives the character a more personal level for the rper but idk, we can ask everyone that when they get on ripperoni

Yeah, maybe a small rules paragraph would be great, but nothing more would be needed. Just spelling out activity expectations and stuff. And I can help maintain a news section if needed.
I'm also game for personalized quotes.

God bless, I hate updating stuff mostly because I'm not very good at staying on that task. Like, I enjoy updating characters and whatnot [ simply because it's already there ] but writing short summaries of what's happening is just beyond my lazy self xD
Whooo, I can pull up one of my other rp forms if you want that? It depends tho, what type of form are we looking at? Short, sweet, n simple or? I got a monster form but that's actually tedious so not recommending it, but I do have that if that's what we're leaning towards. I also have short forms and rule paragraphs I can steal from other things [ other rps that belong to me, might I clarify ] if u guys want xD

Yeah, I'd honestly say short and sweet is the way to go, you know? I mean we're keeping it small so we'll have the opportunity to develop or characters nicely as we go anyways.
We already have basic personalities outlined, so people can just add a few touches here and there with appearances and such.

My general rules list [ editable to fit this rp ] -
So I can see you're interested in joining. That's pretty good news for me. So let's go over the basics of what I want. This will be fast because I hate rules sections, after all. This roleplay will have 7 to 8 members at most. That's the member cap because, you guessed it, it's a small group roleplay.
This roleplay is considered advanced. This means I expect good solid responses that are at least x amount of words in length. If you're not in the mood or the muse isn't feeling it, I get it. Please use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Info about activity can go here as well
Use ooc liberally, I do not mind excessive chatting. Promise. As long as your ooc chat is recognizable from your ic responses, then we will not have a problem.
As for characters, do not make perfect characters. Generally this is where my age range info goes lmao Do not godmod and do not powerplay and everything will be fine.
In addition, I will be having a character cap of two main characters per a person. Any other characters will be a npc used in writing only but not controlled by any particular user. Side characters, such as family members and romantic love interests are also npcs that belong to you but are not pertinent to the story or plot progression and therefore, unimportant and not considered a main character. I may expand the character limit later on, but as for now, that is the limit.
If you are still interested in joining after reading the above, pm a roleplay sample and if you're approved go ahead and fill out a character form on the joining page.

Okay, I'm trying to get something together but maybe something like this [ will fix ] Rules
This means I expect good solid responses that are at least 2 paragraphs in length, each paragraph around at least five sentences. If you're not in the mood or the muse isn't feeling it, I get it. Just try to meet the requirements most of the time. Please use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Since this is a small roleplay, everyone has to be active to keep the plot moving. Regarding this, please try to come on to roleplay - not just chat - at least three times a week, preferably more.
Use ooc liberally, I do not mind excessive chatting. Promise. As long as your ooc chat is recognizable from your ic responses, then we will not have a problem.
As for characters, do not make perfect characters. If you decide to claim one of the Septet, they should be 30+ years, no exceptions. The Sentinels, on the other hand, should be younger. They should be at least 20 years and no older than mid-thrities. Do not godmod and do not powerplay and everything will be fine.

The rules looks great, we just need to add a few of the details. So what are you guys thinking about the activity requirements? At least 3 times a week or maybe more? Since it's a small group rp we need people to be pretty active.
Hm... What are you thinking about age range for the characters, speaking of age range? Like, upper thirties and older for the gang maybe? Since they're supposed to be older? And younger for the Sentinels ?

Sorry, I'm zero help with the coding/banners, haha. You're coding looks amazing by the way!
Um, for the form, I'm thinking all we probably need is name, age, gender, physical appearance (just in general, unless you want to get more specific?), their quote (which should reflect their personality), their personality, and their history. Unless you guys think we should go more detailed?

Activity wise probably would be cool if it's three times a week [ since it IS summer break ] and also I was thinking mid twenties/early thirties for the sentinels and late thirties+ for the septet. Does that sound good? :')

Okay, so lemme go fix up the rule forms a little then, and maybe edit the intro a tad. Sounds great. And if you can do the file thing, great! If not, no worries. The character development will mostly be through rp anyways. And good luck then! If you can't, I'm sure we can find people willing to help out.

idk feels a little cliched and lame, but here's an intro that's kind of more from The Sentinels pov but also gives kind of an insight into where the Syndicate stands. Tell me if you like it? xDThere is no such thing as heroes. Things like that don't exist, though they were the closest things to it. They were vigilantes. Saviors. Individuals who sacrificed everything they had for this city. We looked up to them. We wanted to be just like them. Money for the poor, roofs for the homeless, they provided everything the city could ever want. They were... they were the epitome of good. They filled the streets with symbols of hope. And for the briefest moments, we believed. We thought they were here to save us. To protect us.But we were wrong. From a budding ember of hope came a brilliant blaze of destruction. Nobody knows what happened to them. What changed. Nobody knows why they became so different. Our Golden Age crumbled as they were consumed in jealousy, grief, violence, desire, arrogance, corruption, and hate. They were lost to us. They were once heroes - or the closest things to them. They were once beacons of light; their marks meant justice had been served. No one knows what happened, but violence ate them up from the inside. And once it had claimed them, it didn't stop there. It destroyed everyone and everything.Things didn't just revert back to normal, oh no. They got worse. The divisions between the poor and rich became more evident. The streets were filled with unconstrained chaos. They were once our heroes. Now, they're our tyrants. Once we believed The Septet stood for everything good, but now we know. They were the opposite of justice and kindness. They were nothing but a lie. People like them don't deserve anything. The only thing they deserve is death. We have risen, a new generation of so-called heroes. We are their opposites, their antitheses. We stand for what they once claimed to stand for. The time has come for the Septet and their reign of terror to end It's time to reclaim the city. I edited it a little. You can change anything you want, of course.

Funny how this city changes you. Once upon a time, we were different people. We were young and foolish with fantastical ideas about a perfect Sterling City, free from "evil." (Not sure what we're actually calling the city, but this was one we talked about) See, evil is a relative term. We thought that we were radical, forming our crime-fighting group to save the city that had failed us. We were naive.
And so we fought and we fought for what we called "good," day after day, night after night. We never rested, we never stopped striving to meet our impossible goal. You'd think we'd be loved, lauded for the hope in our hearts. Sterling City, though? It never did anything to repay us, never did more than laugh at us. It was us alone against the world.
So one day after the mission that earned us our fame, we realized something. We had sacrificed everything - for what? We realized that Sterling City was never going to change, that there was no point to this endless struggle. We had reached our last straw. And so we changed, adapted. Some say for the worse, but I say for the better. We became stronger. We only offered protection to those who needed it, and at a price. Gone were our days of innocence. The city had left us nothing, and so we claimed what was ours.
Now we own Sterling City. We gave everything to take what we have now, and there's no backing down. There's opposition to us of course, but who cares? The city is ours.
Okay, there's the intro from the Syndicate's POV! It's a little cliche and likely needs editing, haha.

How's this? I'M SUPER EXCITED ABOUT IT! Welcome to Sterling City
The scent of smoke fogged up the air, he didn't know where he was running. Gun powder. Full of rage and venom, it spread like a wildfire. There was no escape. A loud crack sounded and pain flooded through him. His sensations were overwhelmed by the agony crawling through his veins as his assailant walked up behind him.
Tears streamed down his face as he tried to get to his feet, the bullet in his leg making the task harder than it was supposed to be. "Please," he choked out, raising a hand in a gesture of compliance. "Oh, God please. Don't kill me."
"There ain't no time for that. You owe my boss a large sum, and if you can't pay it with money, then you pay it with your life." The gun leveled with his head, and for a moment he felt nothing. No fear, no hope, no desire. Just emptiness. 'Bang!'
He squeezed his eyes shut but nothing came. Nothing happened. Opening his eyes in surprise he found himself still alive, grasping his chest to make sure he was still alive. He could still smell the potent scent of copper that followed carnage, something this city was prone to. Turning his head slightly, he saw the body of The Syndicate henchman, frozen in death. He swallowed hard, tense with fear. Footsteps sounded behind him, the distinct sound of shoes grinding against gravel echoing in his head. "Run on home, these streets aren't safe." A loud sigh followed those words.
"Sterling City isn't safe for anyone anymore."

And did the attacker just give mercy or was that the vigilantes saving him? Sorry, it was just a little muddy there and wanted to check
