My computer is so laggy I could scream :') Let's get this party started.]
It was about evening time in Washington D.C. A tall, slender man walked down the sidewalk calmly and kept his eyes glued to the ground yet still aware of what was happening around him. Normal citizens bustled down crazy streets with groceries filling up their hands and some dragged whiny, runny nosed children along behind them. But he was no ordinary citizen, he was Loki, an outcast from Asgard. Prior to making an appearance out in public, he had switched his outfit to a long-sleeved,collared, button-up white shirt with a black tie, and some black pants and shoes. He'd noticed many other men had worn this type of clothing to and from work, so it would not make him stand out strangely from the rest of the crowd.

Soooooo my other ideas for the Loki/BuckyxOC RP are....
-Either guy and a normal citizen.
-Specifically for Bucky, it takes place in the 40's before he "died" and everything got awesome and dramatic when he was transformed in the Winter Soldier, but I don't know because I'm kinda digging his long hair and metal arm, like, THAT'S HOT. XD
-Another for Bucky, he's been captured by HYDRA, and since they are testing the serum on multiple people, she could be like a new experiment or something and he has to train her, or I don't know how it works, lol.
-Specifically for Loki, similar situation sort of except they're both Asgardians, and she's training to become one of their warriors.
I'm so fricking clique, god. Tell me whatever floats your boat!]

[[ yeeeet. ]]
There was another man there, but his pickup wasn't. He was standing at the curb, not moving as people brushed by him, eyes glued on the scuffed concrete beneath him. Shaggy, dark hair obscured his face, and a black hoodie obscured most of that. His hands were in his pockets. The Asset just stood there. His handler had been supposed to pick him up hours ago, so for hours he had waited, right shoulder bleeding slowly. Thankfully, it was hard to notice due to the hoodie, but it was still there. He gulped, tasting some blood in his mouth as he looked up momentarily, blue eyes flashing. The handgun in his waistband pressed hard on his side.

OC if you don't mind.... and which plot?]
Loki continued to wander down the street aimlessly, coming upon a hooded stranger beside the curb. He pretended to not take any real notice and keep walking on by, but was curious as to what he might be doing. It was quite hot, so it seemed odd for him to be wearing a sweater in this temperature.

[[ hmmm i like either with bucky. your choice. ]]
It was then that four, no, six men wheeled around the corner of one of the many side streets. They all seemed to lock eyes with the Asset immediately, and one yelled, "Hey!" That was when they all sprinted forward, and Bucky began to sprint the other way, legging it past Loki and the throngs of people, shoving, shoulder throbbing as his arms pumped. He ran unnaturally fast for any man as the men chased after him, shoving past Loki and all of the tourists and city dwellers as well.

How 'bout the experiment one? Because I really don't want to go researching pre - WWII information right now. x3]
"What the hell-" Loki said flabbergasted as the other guy pushed past him trying to get away from the group of people who were after him. This man had accelerated quite fast from standing still just moments before and as he flew past, a gust of wind hit him unexpectedly. His pace was unbelievable. Almost, godly. It made him feel uncomfortable. But whoever he was, he certainly wasn't a normal criminal. Loki swore he saw a flash of something shiny and silver beneath the sleeve of his left arm when it flared up while he ran, but it was hard to tell with the back and forth motioning of it.

One of the men, surprisingly, caught up to the Asset. He felt their strong arms wrap around his neck as the ground flew at him, and he hit it, metal arm catching his full weight as he flipped over onto the man on his back. He heard a wheeze and the snapping of some ribs as he did so, but soon, the other men were upon him. One whipped out a pistol, firing, but Bucky had already wormed out of the grip of the man beneath him. He grabbed the man's pistol-toting hand with his own flesh one, twisting it and snapping his wrist before slamming him into the ground. Another one threw a punch. The Asset dodged and punched him hard enough in the chest to throw him into a nearby fall. People were screaming. People were screaming. He shook his head and reared his fist back, popping one of the three remaining men in the nose so hard that he fell back to the ground, lifeless.

I can try, and I'm going to use Maddie because why not? *cough*guitypleasures*cough*] Loki didn't know what he should do next. He was kind of just paralyzed and watched the scene from a far off corner where he wouldn't get in the way of the fight or get trampled by the mortals stampeding down the street in terror. Sirens were blaring in the far off distance, it wouldn't be long now until more authority arrived. Maybe he should help the guy, anonymously of course. A single glance of the iconic S.H.I.E.L.D. symbol was all it took. Loki felt like he'd swallowed a rock. This wasn't some ordinary dude-robbing-a-bank deal. He was on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s hit list probably. Loki despised them. He instantly formed a few glowing flares in his palms discreetly behind his back and threw them at the men. ________________________________________________________________________________________ I'm going to do the best I can because I haven't tried something like this before.] It was cold, and dark. Madeline woke up in an unfamiliar, musty room where the only light that came in was between the bars of the little window of a door that led out into a hallway. She had no idea what had happened. One minute she was.... wait, she couldn't even remember that. She didn't recall hitting her head, so surely there was no amnesia involved. She stared upwards, blinking her eyes and not knowing how high the ceiling was. She could tell she was in a gown, not a comfy one but something you'd have at a hospital, rough and itchy.

And they struck the men, knocking the remainder of them down. The Asset simply stared for a minute, wondering where they had come from, but the sirens got him moving. He threw his hood over his head and charged back in Loki's direction, away from the approaching vans, before he disappeared down an alleyway. His shoulder hurt. He ignored it. Pain was less important than the mission. His shoulder hurt a lot. No, he had to ignore it. It would stop. He could dig the bullet out.
---
[[ okay! ]]
She wasn't alone. A man sat in the corner of the cell, behind her, large and dark and silent with his arms crossed over his broad chest. He had no name. As far as he was concerned he had no face, and he simply watched what she did, one leg crossed over the other. Her name was Madeline, that much he knew, and it was his job to train her while his handlers conditioned her. He had to train her how to fight, for a better cause than the one she had been fighting for before, at least.

He was running away now. Not Loki, but the other man. He was heading towards him. Now that all the S.H.I.E.L.D. people in the surrounding area had been wiped out, he was probably in more trouble. So Loki did the only thing he could do to prevent them from catching him if others came. As soon as he raced by Loki again, he reached out and grabbed his arm firmly and teleported them out of the place to a far off corner where it was hidden and there were huge dumpsters that towered higher than them. It still might not have been the best place to go, but it was better then out in the open.
________________
[*internally screaming*]
She swung her legs over the edge of the bed and felt shock run up her spine when the cold tile touched her feet. Her legs were wobbly underneath when she tried to stand up and look around. The room was literally empty... at first. She scanned the room until she saw the dark shadow looming behind her pathetic excuse for a bed, tall and strong looking. Madeline yelped in surprise, scrambling backward into a corner with her back against the wall but keeping her eyes fixed on it. Her breath came quickly.

Madeline yelped in surprise, scrambling backward into a corner with her back against the wall but keeping her eyes fixed on it. Her breath came quickly. The Asset was disoriented. He had been out on the street, and now he was here. His memory was notoriously spotty, but he could often tell if there was a long bridge of time between occurrences. There was none. And that was when he noticed Loki. His fist flew threw the air, right at the man's head with a whistle that no human appendage should've been capable of making when moved at a high speed. He had no recognition of the one before him. He had odd looking, too pale and too skinny, not like the men the Asset mostly hunted down.
---
The man stood as she backed into the wall. He seemed even bigger on his two feet, stepping carelessly around the bed and heading towards her. For such a big person, he was silent, rounding the bed and coming to stand in front of her with a blank stare. And, he reached out and took her hand, hard, but not hard enough to injure it, studying the top and then forcibly flipping it over to study the bottom. He said nothing, just breathing slowly as he did so, dropping the hand and reaching listlessly for her face.

His fist hit Loki square in the jaw, and he leaned backward surprised. He threw his arms up in a submissive way although the way this guy had attacked irritated him. He'd just gotten him out of trouble, shouldn't he be more grateful? Then he remembered this wasn't some normal guy. Loki shifted his jaw to ease the pain. "Hey." he grumbled lamely. ____________________________________________________________________
She was still pretty disoriented from all that had happened within these last few moments. The shadow was closer and now appeared to be a man who she did not know. It was enough that he had grabbed her hand, but when he reached for her face she wanted to scream but nothing came out. She still tried to cling to the wall as much as possible and prayed to god that he wouldn't do anything awful to her. She was well-built but right now she felt scrawny, weak and ravenous for something to eat. If he tried to hurt her, she didn't think she would have any strength to fight back.

The Asset was in a fighting stance, but he did not attempt to attack again. He did not recognize the man. It would probably be a better idea to gather intel than to get rid of him right away. "Who are you?" he barked, voice a bit scratchy and higher than he remember it, most likely from disuse. It was no problem. The Asset only spoke when spoken to, and he had no qualms about that. No, he only ever spoke when it was on missions, like this, though he knew that he should have been back at the pickup point. They would be there for him by now, if the men in the vans were gone. They would be angry at him.
---
The man grabbed her face hard enough that she couldn't easily worm away, but not hard enough to hurt as he studied her, head turned to one side and eyes hidden behind shaggy hair. Good teeth, bright eyes. Scared eyes. That would be gone soon. "You are hungry," he finally said, more of a statement than a question, letting her go. His arms hung limply at his sides, all too relaxed as he waited for her to say something to him.

Tired of being hidden behind his dreadful mortal mask, a flash of light appeared and Loki was back in his Asgardian attire once more with a grin on his face. "Just a mere god." He hissed smoothly as if it were no big deal, then straightening himself up to full height as to feel powerful once more. "My name is Loki."
_________________________
Madeline nodded slowly, strands of hair covered her face but she could still see out clearly and her eyes had begun to adjust to the lighting of the atmosphere and she observe more of his form now. She swallowed hard. "What is this place? Where am I--" she was straining herself to speak and a cough overcame her voice. His arm... it was solid metal. Things were getting stranger, and stranger.

The Asset watched, eyes flashing ever so slightly with fear as the man's appearance changed before him, but then became glassy and unbothered again. "A god," he said flatly, eyes narrowed as he looked up at Loki. He was about to say something when his shoulder pained him again. He looked to it. The wetness was clearly visible through his thin hoodie now. He hadn't realized how dizzy he was. He swayed, catching himself on the dumpster with his metal hand, blue eyes widening as an odd taste filled his mouth and the ground seemed very close to his face and then very far away.
---
"You have been here for awhile," the Asset informed bluntly, "I am sure that they have been over this with you. Do you want food?" He cocked an eyebrow, the only expression present on his face since he had come inside of the room, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for an answer. If she was to train, she would need to be strong, and if she were to be strong, she would need to eat something. He had today.

Loki's ego was rising now. Mentioning his status seemed like it was daunting this guy. "You don't who I am?" Did people of Earth worship gods like him and Thor? The ones he had seen today didn't seem like they did, maybe they just didn't care anymore...? Or perhaps it was something entirely different. He wasn't sure. ___________________________________________
"Anything." she pleaded, keeping her speaking to a minimum. Her throat and mouth were dry and so she briefly licked her lips which were also cracked. If he was offering her food, she didn't know how he would manage to get her something to eat if they were stuck in here.

"No," Bucky replied. His mouth felt dry. His knees wobbled, and his metal hand left fingerprints in the dumpster as he struggled to keep himself upright. "I have to go." He was damaged, he needed to be repaired, but as he let go of his only support his legs wobbled, then quaked, and he hit the dirty floor of the alleyway in a heap, blood-soaked shoulder tinging the pavement a bit red as it touched. Every fiber of his being was compelling him to keep from passing out in front of this man, but the fiber that actually decided that was fighting very hard to make him stay down.
---
The man nodded, and then said, "Come." Confidently, he strode to the door, and without even using a key, opened it, waiting for her to come out first like a gentleman. In the light he was still intimidating, though no longer just a shadow. His hair was stringy, to his shoulders and a dark brown. His skin was pale, cheeks hollowed, with a bit of a beard sprouting on his face. His eyes, though bright blue, were dull, like he was drugged, as he waited for her to follow, back much to straight for how defeated he seemed.

He wrinkled his nose in disappointment. So he didn't know. That only made Loki feel more like a fool. How was he supposed to frighten him with the knowledge of what he could do and the powers he possessed? He watched the man attempt to go, and thought of a new idea. He was able to heal himself quickly, so why not others as well? Maybe by giving him strength, it would also increase the chance of intimidating him more to. Within the next couple seconds Loki tried to direct some of his regenerative healing powers towards him and waited for his reaction. ______________________________________________________
She hesitated at first, and still kept her frightened eyes trained on him. But after a moment she struggled to get her balance and walked out into the hallway without thanks or acknowledgement of his kind gesture. Madeline just wanted to get out of there. She looked left down the long stretch of it, noting the other cells that seemed to line the wall, then the other way. It would have been very easy now to dash for an escape but she still had no idea where to go and what he would do if she did.

The Asset shook. He could feel his shoulder knitting back together, and he knew that this strange man was the one doing it, but how? He did not know. Even his handlers had no technology such as this. He'd never seen it, at least. "What are you?" he asked as he crouched on all fours, breathing heavily while pain coursed through his rapidly healing arm, "there are no such things as gods."
---
"Come." He began to lead her down the hall, hand firmly on her shoulder and face blank. Most of the other cells were empty. Some were not cells at alll and were rooms where various things took place. It did not take long for him to lead her into the mess hall though, where a plate of food was waiting. He sat down on the other side of it. "Eat."

"You can continue to deny it as much as you want." he told him. "But that's what I am." Loki walked up behind him and took hold of his hood, which had fallen off during the skirmish. He pulled it up like someone handling a cat or a small puppy by the scruff to lift him back on his feet and face him. "And if you try to hurt me again, you'll wish I was one of those S.H.I.E.L.D. agents." Loki said quickly.
____________________________________________________________________________________
Madeline looked down at the plate of food. There was some rice, chicken, and a few lumps of potatoes that looked more like gray mush. She didn't care that much, she was famished. But sitting here and eating in front of this stranger made her uncomfortable, so she took small bites and braced herself for questioning.

The Asset, of course, lunged forward with his metal arm to attempt at popping Loki in the nose, but the way he was being held kept him from doing much else. The commotion out on the street was growing nearer, and he wasn't all too concerned with the threat of this 'god.' No, he feared S.H.I.E.L.D. and his other enemies more, and this man was only collateral. His head was foggy. Maybe he had a concussion? He knew that he needed to be wiped again. His head always got foggy when he wasn't.
---
The man watched her, eyes roaming listlessly to the guards that were stationed at many of the exits. None of them were looking at the two of them, and his eyes drew back to the girl, Madeline, as it said in her file. "Do you know how long you have been here?" he asked, voice low as he opened up a file that he'd been holding underneath of his arm, which was on her, of course.

Loki's attention was drawn away from him when the noise from the agents grew louder again. He had to think of another place to hide or disguise themselves before they returned. Then he would confront this man again and figure things out. There was a tall, chain linked fence behind them. Loki blasted it again with another energy blare. When the smoke cleared up, there was a hole big enough to fit through and Loki shoved him through there and followed after. There were a few different directions they could go now to find a new place. The trickster god kept his hands close to his sides where some hidden pockets were, and happened to contain his daggers. _________________________________________________________________
"No." she mumbled. Seeing him pull out the file made her only slightly curious, forgetting the "meal" that had been laid out on the table. She tried to peer at what it said, but it was hard to read. The text was small and cryptic to her. However there was large red lettering towards the top that looked more like it had been stamped on. "What are they planning to do with me?" Madeline doubted he'd give a straightforward answer, but it was worth a shot.

He let himself be shoved through, boots scuffling on the dirty ground as he righted himself. A glance backwards made his heart thump as he peered at the decimated chainlink fence, where this apparent god had blasted a hole it, but he swallowed the pounding thing as he shakily moved to the side. Rubbing a hand over his shoulder, he thought for a moment that the wound had opened again and he was still bleeding, but no, it was just congealed, sticky stuff that stunk like death. He wanted to strip out of the hoodie, but his knives were in his sleeves, and he had no other clothes. "That alley is a dead end," he informed, pointing to one, and then to another, "that leads onto a bigger side street."
---
"You have been here for two weeks," the man replied, looking up, using his metal hand with surprising accuracy to brush his dark hair out of his face, "as for what they are planning to do with you, that is not my business. I am supposed to train you. Which is why you need to eat." He gestured to the plate again, looking back down at the file with his arms crossed on the table, light eyes occasionally flickering upwards to watch her.

Loki peered down the one that stretched far back without end. It was littered with old, rotting crates and other trash. "Move along then." He gestured with his hand. "Quickly." He looked over his shoulder to see if the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were catching up, but they were not. That didn't mean they weren't close. If they did make it this far, it wouldn't be hard to tell which way Loki and this guy had gone considering the other way led to a dead end. "I have a better idea." Washington D.C. was full of tall buildings, he could teleport them again to the top of one of them where it would be more secluded from the public eye down below. ____________________________________________________
Madeline grimaced at him silently underneath her long hair that looked greasy and dirty from neglect. There was a small flame of resistance that flickered in her dark blue eyes as she watched him. She didn't want to eat, she wanted to get away, but for now, fighting back wasn't an option. "Train me?" she stabbed the chicken ruthlessly with her fork. It was rock solid almost. She gave up, throwing it down on the table and shoving the plate to the side. "I'm not hungry." A sickening feeling was developing in the pit of her stomach. Train me for what? she thought.

The Asset just grunted, beginning to walk away, down the alley that he had suggested. Maybe this Loki had an idea, but he had an immediate need to get away from his enemies, and they would be here soon. If this god wanted to walk and talk, that was fine, but the Asset had no time for waiting aorund for him to elaborate on this plan. He had to get back to his rendezvous. He shook his head, eyes squinting as his head throbbed a bit, though he still walked straight as he waited for Loki to catch up.
---
[[ do you want him to slowly become more human again because of madeline, or...? ]]
"Yes, train you," he affirmed, reaching out calmly to grab the plate of chicken, and to push it back so that it was in front of her. He didn't say anything, but his eyes were burning with irritation. His face never showed emotion, nor did his voice, but his eyes... they were constantly shifting. They looked angry most of the time, confused, even a bit restlessly worried. They were younger than his face too, years younger, but everything else about him seemed hardened and scarred.

Loki grabbed his hood again, and suddenly their feet had left the ground in the familiar, twisted feeling that always gripped Loki whenever he used this trick. Within seconds they were on top of the nearest building and the only other thing up there with them was a huge air-conditioning unit and a satellite dish. "I got you out of trouble," Loki growled, now dusting his legs. "So tell me exactly why S.H.I.E.L.D. is after you." ___________________________________ [Well, I don't know, sure? Or maybe just around her he can start to act semi-normal? Whatever you feel is interesting enough for you to be is character. ] Questions were running through her mind at a million miles per minute, there were so many things she had to know, but was afraid to ask by looking at his expression. She took the chicken off the plate and gnawed at it until was finished, and swallowed the bites disdainfully. Even her teeth hurt, everything hurt. She pushed it away again, and her arm was trembling. However much she wanted to put on a tough mask over herself, he scared her.

She took the chicken off the plate and gnawed at it until was finished, and swallowed the bites disdainfully. Even her teeth hurt, everything hurt. He barely even heard Loki's question, but he somehow found himself answering to the man anyways. He had no one else to answer to. He needed someone to answer to. "They are a poison to the world. I have to help stop them," was the only answer he provided. It was the only one he knew, for he had been told this many, many times. He couldn't even count how many. His eyes didn't meet this so-called god's now. He was staring just past them, not used to making eye contact. His head was bothering him. Everything bothered him when he was away for this long.

[[ alrighty tighty. ]]
He sat completely still until she'd finished, not patient, just... nothing. There was nothing on his face. He didn't mind waiting. "Come," he prompted again, clearly one of his favorite words, as he got up from his side of the table, quickly making his way over to her side and waiting. He offered no hand, though he could see her shaking, and her pain. She would have to get used to it, as hard as it was going to be. He had.
