(( Awesome, I'll leave these two open! ))
Honeystripe rolled onto his side. With all the excitement of the apprentice ceremonies he was feeling restless; the feeling was infectious, giving him a burst of sudden desire to get out of camp, do something. This kind of thing always brought him back to his first days as an apprentice, when everything was new and exciting and he couldn't wait to run through the forest and learn and explore.
Swiftfoot was feeling a little more subdued. Of course the pride and happiness he felt matched his clanmates, but something seemed to be weighing on him and he couldn't pinpoint what. Maybe he hadn't been getting enough sleep or something? Crouching low, he tried to avoid being spotted, especially not by his brother. No doubt his energetic sibling would drag him off to do something stupid if they ran into each other now. Swiftfoot wasn't supposed to be the one who just received an apprentice, but Honeystripe certainly made him feel like it sometimes.

Hornetstrike poked his head towards Aspenpaw and Plumpaw. "Hey, Aspenpaw. Let's get some training in, yeah?" He mewed to his apprentice.
Bloompelt groomed her pelt quickly, heart racing and courage boosted from her new warrior status. She knew her father was getting suspicious of her constant glancing at his former apprentice, but she was her own cat, and she really liked Nighteye.
She sauntered past him, trying her best to look alluring.
"You look troubled." Featherpaw mewed lightly to Magpiepaw, laying in his nest, which was rather isolated now that his siblings were warriors.

Autumnfall called over to Honeystripe. "Hey! You're a pretty tough warrior! I bet you could help me hunt for a while!" She announced bravely.

Honeystripe immediately lit up at Autumnfall's call. Just when he thought he might head out for a hunt himself! He stretched out, flexing his claws against the dirt to reign himself in before he came across as too eager - or too flattered by the compliment. "I bet I could," he responded brightly, rising to his paws and trotting towards Autumnfall.
"First hunt as a warrior, huh?" he grinned, nudging her with his shoulder. "Excited?"

See you later, Plumpaw." he departed from his sister. "What are we doing today?" Nighteye took a bite of his bird, looking at Bloompelt. "What are you doing?" he asked, noting her look. "Are you proud to be a warrior? Congratulations, by the way." "I am!" Magpiepaw said, lashing her tail. "I can't wait another minute to be a warrior! Now the den's going to be extra full!"

"You bet. It's not much different, I know, but hunting as a warrior is something I'm excited about. I'll catch something for my brother." Autumnfall promised, green eyes looking forward as she began leading out of camp. She thought of Dapplepaw in the medicine den and found it gave her determination.
"That, and the apprentice's den was sooo crowded."

Honeystripe nodded, fully understanding the sentiment. "Perfect opportunity to show off the skills that made you a warrior, then!" he purred. Maybe he would catch something for his own brother - he hadn't seen Swiftfoot since he woke up, since he'd slept in. He'd like a rabbit.
"There's certainly no shortage of apprentices," he mused, keeping pace with Autumnfall. "No promises that the warrior's den isn't crowded too, though! Apologies in advance if you wake up with my tail in your mouth. Wouldn't be there first time."

Hornetstrike gave a smile as he led his apprentice towards the camp entrance. "We'll be doing some sparring lessons. I'd rather not go out far from camp right now, so we'll stay near the camp walls."
Bloompelt flushed at his blantant curiousity at her attempted saunter. She quickly composed herself. "Oh! I was just walking by! Ah, yes. I'm delighted to be a warrior. I'm just happy I passed the requirements. I suppose seeing your hunting taught me some skills." She purred.
Featherpaw gave a feather-light laugh. "I understand. Though, my hold back is my lack of training early on. I still have alot to learn about clan life again." He mewed sympathetically.

"Ah, I wouldn't be too bothered by that. Tails in my face was rather common." Autumnfall snickered, lifting her nose to scent for prey.
"I'm hoping my skills are good enough to impress the other warriors. And enough to keep my siblings safe from here on out." She nodded to the older tom.

Honeystripe flicked his ears, keeping his senses alert for even the smallest signs of life in the forest. He could agree with the latter statement; his own sibling wasn't as strong as he was, physically, even if Honeystripe was the less willing to fight.
Prey didn't usually wander close to camp - the scent of cats was too strong there - but he could tell that small, warm bodies were beginning to stir the further they walked. "See if you can impress me now," he lowered his voice, flicking his ears towards a nearby bush. The fresh scent of mouse hit him when he opened his mouth, and he could feel it's scurrying beneath his paws.

Autumnfall caught scent of the mouse, nodding in understanding at Honeystripe's words before she began to crouch, green eyes narrowing as she stalked towards the bush, waiting stock still for the mouse to make a move to leave the bush.

Honeystripe crouched as well, keeping as still as possible to as not to disturb the mouse. He'd hate to mess up Autumnfall's first catch as a warrior by accidentally stepping on a twig or something.
The mouse was busying itself in the bush, clearly foraging for food. The wind was blowing from behind the little creature; it was none the wiser to the presence of the two cats, though was characteristically skittish. Though it was careful not to rustle the leaves around it, it was easy enough to detect its movements as it darted out into the open. Honeystripe crouched lower, keeping his eyes half on Autumnfall, curious to see her in action.

(Hi fox)
Autumnfall found the moment to pounce, surging forward and slamming her paws on the mouse. She killed it quickly, sighing in relief that she did not miss the catch.
Dapplepaw twinged in pain as Peachdapple applied another layer of polituce to his wounds, tiredness making him droop. He did open his eyes further, wondering if Nightfang was in the medicine den.
Was Nightfang alright? Was the warrior ashamed of him for letting Sparkpaw die? He wished he could turn his head to look around.

(( Hiya! ))
Honeystripe relaxed, sitting back down and curling his tail around his paws, looking impressed. "Nice catch!" he purred, blinking down at the mouse. Autumnfall had certainly learned well; the kill had been incredibly clean. It certainly meant he had a tough act to follow.

Autumnfall purred in thanks. "Thanks Honeystripe. Though, usually after the first catch I miss a few." She admitted sheepishly.

Lynxpaw giggled, "Maybe." She mewed. Sunthroat frowned, "Really? Because you don't look fine to me." He said. Redtooth scoffed. "You are rude. I should have raised you better." He meowed. "I'm fine." Lightningstar looked at him.

Honeystripe laughed, prodding her shoulder with a forepaw. "Hey, we can't all be perfect! I usually don't even catch the first!" he joked, rising back up to his paws. "Well, that can't be the only mouse in the forest. Shall we continue? I'll catch the next and you can watch me trip over live and for yourself,"

He wondered if Dapplepaw was okay in the medicine cat den as he followed. "That's good," Nighteye nodded. "I'm glad I was able to help. I was proud, too, when I finally got my name." "I suppose. I feel like I've earned enough." Magpiepaw huffed.

Autumnfall rolled her eyes with humor. "Be my guest, clumsy paws." She mewed with good-nature, though she knew good and well that the other warrior could hunt decently.
Bloompelt gave a purr. "I bet it must have been a good ceremony. I always liked your name. Kind of...mysterious." She admitted to Nighteye.
Hornetstrike blinked at Aspenpaw, something gleaming in his yellow eyes, before he shook his pelt and nodded. "Alright. We'll learn a rolling strike. It's just a simple rolling dodge, followed by a strike to the legs."
Featherpaw mused. "Perhaps we can find something to occupy ourselves with. Patching a den?"

Honeystripe trotted forward, returning to scenting and listening for prey. Despite his words, he didn't like making mistakes in front of his clanmates - plus Autumnfall seemed like fun, and he hadn't had much of a chance to interact with her before. It would be pretty embarrassing to trip up now.
"Smell anything?" he asked, looking up at the treeline. He fancied a thrush himself, but memories of the last time he went after one of those stopped him from scaling a tree in search of a bird to catch.

Autumnfall lifted her nose, before frowning and shaking her head. "Nothing I can scent nearby! Perhaps we have to go to another spot." She offered. Usually squirrels were found deeper in the forest.

Honeystripe huffed. "Yeah, I couldn't smell anything either." He skipped forward, darting his gaze up ahead. Perhaps they were still close to camp - it would probably be worth heading quite a bit further out.
"Think you can keep up?" Honeystripe turned back and grinned, crouching before breaking into a run. There was a good spot up ahead for hunting and there was no harm in having a little fun if there was no prey in the immediate vicinity.

"Of course I can keep up." Autumnfall challenged bravely, green eyes glancing at Honeystripe as she readied to follow after him to continue the hunt.

Honeystripe ran ahead, careful not too make not too much noise with each stride - as much as he could, anyway. Leaping over the roots of branches, he kept each bounds long to clear as much ground with every step. All that energy that had built up during the apprentice and warriors ceremonies finally felt like it was being relieved; this was what he lived for.

Nighteye shrugged. "I didn't think I had a sharp eye on things, but I guess Lightningstar thought otherwise." he said lightheartedly. "It's better than Nightpaw!"
Aspenpaw nodded. "We'll see if I can roll with my big legs of mine," he laughed.
Magpiepaw stood. "I guess. It's better than doing the elder's ticks, that's for sure."
