The girl took a sharp intake of breath when she saw the two land, watching as the boy stumbled. She tried to scoot away, but she found herself stuck in to the corn stalks, making her let out a small, alarmed noise realizing she couldn't move, her bad foot stuck in the corn, shivering for a moment, not wanting to be caught, feeling safer in the corn, away from the stranger.

"Makes sense," Chell stated, accepting the vague answer. She wondered if he would even be able to explain what kind of danger it was, she didn't know anything about the world outside the lab. Nonetheless, it probably wasn't something too important that she'd have to worry about right now.
As they approached the ground, Chell realized that she didn't exactly know how to land. She'd have to improvise. She hoped that some sort of instinct would kick in as she began to flap faster, hoping that it would slow her down. What made it harder is that it wasn't exactly flat land she was trying to land on, there were some odd plants all over the place. Chell had tried to land next to the other hybrid, and while her feet did manage to touch the ground, she stumbled forward into the corn, almost tripping. Luckily, she didn't actually fall flat onto the ground, and gave a sigh of relief before turning back towards the other hybrid. When he asked his question, Chell had paused to consider it before answering. "Well, one of the nice scientists helped me escape the lab, and they pointed me towards the meeting spot, something called a 'gas station', I believe. They said something about a hideout for hybrids like me, and the people there are helping to stop the labs!"
Chell smiled, but it faded as she heard a small cry. "Wait, what was that? Oh no, is someone hurt?" She immediately turned to the corn stalks, trying to look around. She didn't pause to think that it could be anything dangerous, considering she had no idea what had cried out.

Blue nodded. Everything seemed to be in order with her. She didn't have too much information or too little. He felt a previously unknown knot untangle in his stomach. He didn't like the idea of only bring back one person. After all, he was sent to pick up five. If he only brought back one, it didn't matter if she was in one piece and they had to fight off wolfmen, he wouldn't get sent on any missions for a long time. The thought didn't settle with him. He wanted to help the resistance. They were the only ones making a difference.
He blinked when Chell started to look around the corn stalks. is mind quickly scrambled with another decision. he didn't get far. Unexpectedly, or perhaps Blue should have expected it, the young girl lashed out. "Wait! It's okay." He said, taking a couple steps towards the girls. "Calm down." He addressed them both in hopes that he wouldn't have fight on his hands.

Not expecting the little girl's blow, Chell fell backwards. Her wings, which had folded close to her body when she landed, unfurled slightly, half to slow down her fall, half to immediately make her seem more threatening. She tried to recover quickly, looking at what had attacked her. Another girl, one much younger than she was, seemed to lash out at her. Before Chell could say anything, Blue had stepped in between them. She was still breathing heavily due to the spontaneity of the situation, and didn't say anything immediately. However, she looked at the younger girl a little bit more, and noticed that she had wings. So she was a hybrid like them, as well as very young, so she had to be a good guy, right? "Don't... worry," Chell eventually said in between gasps. "I'm one... one of the good guys."

Blue sighed, relaxing a fraction when neither seemed to continue. Chell didn't seem too hurt. She seemed more shocked than anything and he appreciated her trying to clear things up, even if it didn't help. He realized he had had his wings out and he swiftly curled them up tightly against his back. He looked down at the girl with a small frown. Obviously, he had not won her trust completely. Not like he should expect it. trusting someone else's judgment could be tough. "Well, first, she has wings. No one I know of has wings and is a lab coat. Second, she didn't attack us." He said.

Chell decided to push herself onto her feet. She hoped that Blue had calmed down the girl enough that she wouldn't attack again, but just in case she made sure to be prepared so that she wouldn't be knocked over again. She curled her wings towards her back, hopping that she'd appear less threatening. She was pretty sure the girl had seen them already, anyways.
"Yeah, I don't want to pick a fight with either of you, honest." She spoke, trying to sound as sincere as possible. "I don't want anything to do with the lab, just trying to find my way to the hybrid hideout." Chell was hoping that was enough to earn the girl's trust, she didn't really know what else to do. She did understand her caution, however, and she wondered slightly to herself if she were to be more cautious as well. But they were both hybrids, and, as Blue had stated, none of the bird hybrids work for the labs.

He sighed before noticing the girl's leg. "let's get you unstuck." He promised before crouching near the girl. Normally, he would get his knife out and try to cut her loose, but he didn't know if that would make the girl panic. He didn't want her to get hurt even more from struggling. "Help." He told Chell before trying to move the dirt and extra corn leaves away. It was futile as all of the leaves, roots, and old stalks seem to be impossibly mixed together. (Sorry for the short post. )

Chell was relieved when the young girl agreed that she was on their side. She wouldn't have known what to do otherwise, since her wings and her word were the only thing that she really had to prove that she was one of the good guys. Nonetheless, Chell didn't notice that the girl's leg was stuck and her foot injured until Blue started working to free her. Part of her wondered what had happened, but she decided to instead focus on helping Blue free her leg.
"Okay," She told Blue, and then bended down to look closer at the girl's leg. Unsure, really, how to break off whatever seemed to be holding the girl's leg captive, Chell grabbed one of the roots, and had attempted to pull on it, as if that would somehow make everything unravel.

Twist let out a small yelp when the girl pulled on the root, making the stuff that was wrapped around her leg tighten slightly, and she jerked her leg back, loosening it a little bit. She managed to wiggle a portion of her leg out of the corn, getting a little impatient, wanting to have gotten out with ease instead of being trapped with the two older kids. The short haired girl finally managed to get out, scrambling behind Blue when she could, peering out at Chell before mumbling a small, quiet "thank-you", leaning against Blue for support and deciding to let the older kids do the talking.
