(I did the maps. Sorry they're super crappy lol. If I get the chance at some point I may make a model of the house using Sims or something. Though I guess I could also just find, like, a 3D house floor planner in the Google app store or something, I've done that before.)

Character Name: Lewis Noskov Gender: male Age: 26 Job/Role: worked as a security guard for a local business. Relationships: estranged parents and a brother who never woke.
Mutation: He's been desensitized to physical pain. Similar to the disease known as CIPA, he's limited to feeling pressure and nothing else. Whether it is inflicted pain or extreme temperatures, he remains indifferent under lesser circumstances. This can make it difficult to control his body temperature or detect serious injuries. He can go for any length of time without noticing he is in physical danger till his body can no longer tolerate the damage. As it stands, the extent to which his mutation operates is currently unknown. He hasn't experienced much physical injury since he woke.
Appearance: At an imposing 6'6", Lewis can be rather intimidating. He's not especially thin but well built and sturdy, very lean and agile looking. Though one might suspect him for a man of strength, he's no real talent for hand-to-hand. This might be peculiar coming from a previously employed security guard but, in all honesty, he never really put to use the training he went to an academy for. His stature coupled with a nightstick was usually enough to deter any aggressor from a scuffle with the man. Naturally, he's a habit of slouching, pushing his shoulders forward and making himself comfortable in even the most pressing of situations. He never stands too poised and ready and can often exhibit a rather bored posture. Instead, any alertness you might gain from the man is in his gaze as he's always observing. He's a combed wave of brown/blond hair and a pair of muted green eyes. The few notable features he possesses is a larger hooked nose, presumably broken a couple times, and a light complexion. On good days, he wears a nicer pair of slacks and a button down blouse but, casually, he's accustomed to worn flannels, simple Ts, and jeans.
Personality: Lewis has never been the sociable type. He does his best to put himself out there and will more than willingly participate in any active conversation. However, he doesn't go out of his way to do those things. Instead, he's rather comfortable on his own. He's only ever had to rely on himself for things and has never really had the opportunity to think of another's needs before his own. Because of this, he can come off as detached or uninterested. It might be true but only to an extent. He genuinely strives to do good by others and is generally displeased by any malicious behavior. Aside from these few qualities, he can be rather odd. He's a dry sense of humor that is aimed to make others comfortable but only ever comes off as quaint and unexpected. Despite this all, he can be charming. He conveys a sort of optimistic outlook and a sweet smile.
Skills & Weaknesses: He's exceptionally good at strategic thinking and ever observant of his surroundings. He also tends to be a good judge of character. Perhaps one of his most notable weaknesses would be his lack of control. He's a temper and a willingness to hold grudges for extend lengths in time. Pent up stress and misdeeds are his unraveling and, once undone, he often releases his feelings in a violent manner. This behavior is often unhinged and mildly sadistic to say the least. He'll get over it in time and often regrets whatever actions he's done.
Inventory: He'd never been an armed guard nor carried any permit for a gun so he'd never seen the need to purchase a firearm. Instead, as defense, he's made do with a large, steel ball-pein hammer and a simple pocket knife. With him, he carries a rucksack, the contents of which consist of a canteen for water, a couple plastic lighters, one blanket where he keeps a change of clothes folded into, and a butcher knife he keeps wrapped in a dish towel. What he carries on his person is little more than a digital watch and a simple, waxed cotton jacket.
Backstory: Despite only achieving a standard high school diploma, he'd enough money to buy his way into the nearest training program for security officials. He's worked odd jobs since graduating such as a custodian for a local business and a store clerk at the corner of his apartment's block. His low ambitions never inspired his family to put forth any real effort to his future endeavors and he's since cut ties with his parents. A simple phone call here and there is all he ever really put time into. He'd a closer relationship with his brother and often spent nights with him and his pals down at their frequented bar. Since the end, he's been on his own mostly.
Other: He really digs coffee or tea and does his best to seek them out. He used to be a mild alcoholic but has since put that past him. If there is one thing he misses most from the near past, it's cold drinks. Roleplayer: alfred

(Hm. I actually haven't seen Rogue One, so I don't know what you mean. But from the other examples, you basically mean just making all their other senses extremely heightened? That would be fine. I would shy away from anything not purely scientific, however, so probably nothing with "auras.")

In all honesty, Lewis couldn't clearly remember the last time he'd been behind a wheel. He'd a license to drive, of course, but hadn't really had the need to put it to good use given he lived in the city. A cab or bus cost money, sure, but he found it more of a connivence not having to give up half his paycheck just to buy a full tank of gasoline. No, public transportation was something he preferred. It was god-awful unnerving sitting next to someone with clear issues or painful to ignore the smell sometimes, but it was nice to be out and part of the community. At least, he tried convincing himself of this. Now, though, he sat behind the wheel of his brother's sedan, flashing anxious glances toward the dash.
It'd taken him a while to get to his brother's apartment on foot and, since then, he'd been on the road. He'd a quarter of a gallon when he set out, the thing running empty now as he continued out of the city to the suburbs. The wheel shaking and his spirits low given the fact he'd have to walk soon, Lewis started searching the neighboring sights for more promising signs of fortune and life, something relatively untouched by the dead.
It'd been five days now since the world had gone silent and he'd been alone since the start. He hadn't really known what to do and, in truth, still didn't. His best course of action, for sure, was leaving the city as far behind him as he possibly could but after that. .? What did one do without any hope of someone else being alive? He'd seen nothing but corpses and had heard nothing but static from the car's radio. The silence was deafening and terrifying, something he'd never yet experienced, and he wasn't at all sure what to do in it.
As the vehicle sputtered and slowed to a crawl, Lewis dropped his head into one hand, staring blankly out the front windshield at a wandering corpse. Through the trees, he could spot the roofs to a small cul-de-sac and new the location would be his next destination but. . on foot. Something he completely dreaded. Sitting still as the corpse stumbled closer, he finally inhaled sharply, parked the vehicle and took up his rucksack from the passenger's seat. Pocketing the keys, he opened the door and made his start toward the homes.
- - - The place was littered with an array of decaying bodies, the stench strong and sight unsettling. Taking no time, he entered the neighborhood at a jog, passing through the backyard of one home quietly. Rounding the corner of its back porch, he gave a quick note to the surrounding structures, broken windows and ajar doors. If anything, the start of a new day would provide him more time than needed to search them individually, carefully given the dead but thoroughly. He wasn't looking to stay for more than a night or two at most. He just needed time enough to gather what canned goods he could and, perhaps, syphon gas from the cars parked afront.
Crouching, he set his rucksack down, untying his ball-pein hammer from the front before shouldering it again. Patting his pocket to be sure of the keys and his knife, he came around the front of the building, doing a quick scan to count the dead. They were spread out and few in number, little threat so long as they didn't cluster and pin him down some place. He'd have to be quick in his raid and decisive to outmaneuver them but, so long as he played this safe, he was sure he'd get the supplies he'd not initially desired to come here for. Crouching again as he came to the front, he waited in silence to do little more than observe and plot a proper route from home to home.

(I haven't seen a lot of TWD but I believe so? For the time being, it's pretty much just basic shamblers/walkers/whatever you want to call them. They're pretty slow moving, but strong and resilient. They are very mildly tactical, but pretty much only to the degree of knowing that if they group up and go after the smallest prey first they're more likely to succeed. Essentially, only having one will not cause it to not attack, but if there is a horde nearby, it will join the horde first. They are capable of very simple tasks such as climbing or opening doors, but they do not use weapons and cannot understand anything more complex than, like, a car door.)

Character Name: Contessa Leigh Grey
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Job/Role: Florist + Nursing student
Relationships: Twin brother, he woke up and had a different mutation as her, however he died a few days prior. Both of her parents turned into zombies.
Mutation:
Tessa woke up blind, something hard for her to accept. However she found that her senses had heightened extremely, and that she could in a way, "see" through them. She still hasn't mastered her heightened senses however, and still has problems using them to "see." (Think Toph from ATLA or Daredevil.)
Appearance: Contessa stands at about 5'5, and weighs about 125 pounds, and her build is somewhat athletic, despite the fact that she doesn't do many sports. She has a petite and small build, and what muscle she does have is of the leaner/lither type. Her hair is a natural white-blonde color, giving her a somewhat California Barbie look, which she somewhat resents. Her hairs color earned her the nick names of "Wonderbread", "Luna", and "Moonie" by close friends and family. Her eyes are a light blue-grey, unchanged by the mutation, with the exception of her black pupils having a silver film over them to indicate her blindness. She has no tattoos or scars, but she does have a small birthmark on her left shoulder blade. Her skin is a warm color despite how fair of a complexion she has.
Personality: Tessa being born to an upperclass family and terribly spoiled, isn't the best at dealing with hardships, or not getting what she wants. She does have a somewhat snobby or petty attitude about things, though she does realize those are old personality traits she needs to get rid of, if she wants to survive and get along with others. Though she would never admit to that out loud. She is very stubborn and obstinate, and it can be hard to reason with her once her mind is made up. She has a tendency to always believe she is right, which can cause her to come off as a know-it-all, or bossy even. She is pretty extroverted, or at least before her blindness and the end of the world, now though she has become less social and trusting out of necessity. She has a kind and naive side, though one will probably never see it unless they happen to catch her off guard, which is a truly amazing feat to accomplish. Tessa can be a bit cold and stand-offish, or distant, especially when on the inside she is feeling very moody or emotional, expressing her thoughts and feelings are a weak point for her.
Skills & Weaknesses: She has a lot of plant-based knowledge, and some very basic medical skills from her schooling, though not much beyond advanced first aid. As far as weaknesses, despite being blind now, she has always had low stamina and endurance, and was never the athletic type. She struggles with asthama whenever she does anything too physically exerting, and she can be fairly weak physically. Most of her power lies more in her mind than in her body.
Inventory: She has a duffel bag with clothes, a first aid kit, flares, and a few knives, she also managed to scavenge some things from her brothers bag when he had been killed, such as waterproof matches, water purifier tablets, and some packets of powdered food.
Backstory:
Tessa was born as a twin, having a twin brother named Caeden. The two grew up as inseparable, and were the children of a wealthy, happy suburban couple. They were the only children their parents ever had as well, and they were both spoiled greatly. However, her mother got caught up in a cheating scandal when Tessa was 13, and her parents marriage, and their happy family was destroyed. The twins were separated, her brother staying with their father, and Tessa staying with her mother, and she only saw her father every other weekend, and only saw her brother at school. Once they were older, they moved out together and went to the same college, he was studying to become an Engineer, and she was studying to become a surgical scrub nurse. The two were both immunes, however a few days after they both awakened, her brother was killed by a pair of walkers during a supply run.

( whoops I fell asleep. I have to be up at 5 AM for work every morning so I go to bed early lol)
Miley slipped in past Tobias despite Anthony's continuous verbal protests. Once inside, she turned towards him, smiling almost in awe. She was so excited to see another survivor, one that was not going to try to kill her in the first few seconds of their meeting. " Hi! I'm Miley." She told him, then glanced at the girl. " Is it just you two?" She asked. She hoped so anyway.
While she waited for a response, she glanced around the house too see if she could pick up any sign of somebody hiding. Thankfully the house was dark, making her able to see a little easier than in the bright light.
Outside, Anthony was circling the house looking for a way in. He loved Miley so the possibility of his girlfriend and the only survivor he trusted scared him badly. After picking up her bat, he held both weapons up and ready to be used as his eyes scanned every inch of the house looking for a way in.

(yeah pretty much anything other than brown or black hair, brown eyes, and medium to dark skin is a mutation in humans I'm pretty sure. I know for a fact that blue eyes and pale skin are. But... you're right, that is true, we pretty much all have pale-haired and pale-eyed people. Perhaps the immune are more common among people with certain genetics? I suppose we'll see ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) And I believe it's technically that a male is blond, a female is blonde, but I think that blonde looks better so I always use that version of the word regardless of gender.)
Tobias closed the door, turning to the girl- Miley, apparently- and nodded. "Yeah, just us. Of course, I didn't want to tell your aggro B.F. that since that's not exactly 'safety in numbers.' And, well, we pretty much just met," he added, glancing at the first girl. He couldn't help but notice that they looked eerily similar: almost exactly the same height from what he could tell, both rather petite, with red hair and freckles. The only major difference, besides the first girl's obvious blindness, was the difference in their eye color: Miley's eyes were ice blue, though Tobias noted that the color was far too pale to be anything other than a mutation from the disease, while the first girl's were green. He tucked that information in the back of his mind for later use, feeling as though it was probably relevant somehow.
"My name's Tobias, by the way," he added, waving his hand for her to follow as he started towards the living room, figuring they could have a cordial conversation there like 'normal' people. He paused before he got more than a foot, though, wondering if, and how, he should indicate to the blind girl that they were moving. He figured she would hear when their voices got farther away, but it seemed rude to just walk away without letting her know they were moving. Though, it seemed similarly rude to assume that she couldn't tell.

Miley nodded in acknowledgment of his name. She noticed the blind girl looked similar to herself as well, but she didn't say anything about it. Right now, she didn't even know she was blind. To her there was no indication that she would be blind, her eyes looked fairly normal. If anything, Miley was the one that looked blind. She followed Tobias to the living room and stood awkwardly by the couch, not yet comfortable enough to take a seat. " ignore Anthony, he is just scared. He shows most of his emotion through sarcasm and aggression." She told him, Crossing her arms in an uncomfortable way. It was just a self comforting kind of thing, she was reassuring herself that everything would be okay but subconsciously "holding" herself.
" how long have you two been here? We were staying in my parents house up until this morning, then a very large grotesque man broke into my house and it was either fight him or run. He was much stronger than either of us and looked quite strange. His skin resembles the texture of tree bark, and he was about seven feet tall." Miley figured some mutations work way more extreme than others. Anthony's was just strength and desensitized pain. Miley herself didn't really have anything besides her eye color. " he was the first living survival that we found, well came across."

Tobias, after internally grappling with himself for a heartbeat, finally just continued to the living room. He decided it would be more excusable to assume that the girl- whose name he still didn't know- would be able to follow him than to assume that she couldn't. And, after all, they had just met- he wasn't responsible for her. Moving to the living room, he leaned on the back of the couch and faced the other two, automatically mirroring Miley's movement of crossing her arms.
He listened to Miley's short story, frowning as he did so. He was particularly interested in her account of the other survivors' mutations: besides himself, the blind girl and the other two, Anthony and Miley, were the only survivors he had seen. Therefore, he was especially interested in knowing how the disease had affected other people. Miley's eyes were obviously a source of mutation, but the others' were less obvious. Tobias, thus far, had no way of telling of the blind girl had been like that before, or had been blinded by the disease, though the fact that she had a branch and not a really cane suggested the latter. Anthony had no visible mutations, and of course there was the two girls' similarities in features, which suggested one of three things. First, much like his white hair was caused by the disease, so was their red- or at least the blind girl's, as Miley had just specified that it was only her eyes that had changed. Second, people with red hair, or perhaps just pale hair in general- as Anthony was also blonde as Tobias had been- were more likely to be immune. Or, it was all just a crazy coincidence. Really, any three options were equally plausible, though of course it would be easy enough to find out if the first was true or not. He saved that question for later, though, as there were more important things to discuss.
"Hm. Obviously, I knew that the disease could change appearances," he replied, gesturing at his own hair and eyes, "though I didn't suspect it would be so drastically." He paused, considering the rest of what she had said. "I've been here for... a bit less than 24 hours, I would say. She got here just before you did." He nodded towards Blind Girl. "And as for my mutation, well, my appearance obviously. Besides that, I have heightened senses and reflexes." He didn't bother to mention his heightened sensitivity to pain or light for now- it didn't seem like a good idea to immediately give away his main weaknesses to a pair of strangers, even if they were both small girls who generally seemed okay. "As for other survivors... you three are the first I've found. I guess there's not that many of us to begin with. Though, I can't say I'm surprised that there are those remaining who would use the, uh, current situation as an opportunity to take from others." He glowered. "Though it seems absurd to specifically target other people, seeing as we have a whole, 'empty' world to ourselves now. Even if it is Hell."
