(yeah sorry I haven't been active either. It's a mixture of being busy as it is plus using my spare time to obsess over other projects. I tend to flit from thing to thing so as long as everyone actually sticks around I will be back to this in full force probably this coming week XD but until then, sorry, if someone makes a roleplay post I'll do my best to reply but I can't promise it will be inspired.)

Bakhola had been busy. She'd decorated her home deep underground with many of the new discoveries that her siblings had made. Twisting waterways now carved their way through the caverns and she'd added deep piles of sand and clay to adorn the hard stone. Initially, she'd planned on a soft, dry surface, but the presence of the water had altered them, making a slightly moist, almost crumbly mixture. Not that she minded, it was just as good as all else.
However, she found herself missing the surface far too often. Her father's light was much missed and she often found herself wishing to have some light down here as well. Her mind turned again and again to the spark of her brother's making. The sparks were forced from the stone, perhaps there was more light trapped within somehow. Burrowing deeper into the earth, away from her favorite caverns, she ate away the stone until she made a cave just large enough for her to work. Closing her eyes, she focused on her father's warmth and, with a flourish of her feathered tail, the stone beneath her feet began to glow, then burn. Bakhola took several hurried steps back just in time as the surface of the stone seemed to cave inwards, becoming unstable and liquid as the rock became like water. She carefully took a step forwards, reaching her nose out to sniff at the new substance, then grinned a toothy grin, creating a spray of gems around her. They caught the light, just as they had upon the surface when they had been made, and she couldn't help a celebratory jig, dancing along the edge of the magma.

Tathu wander across a barren section of the planet deep in thought. New creations had dwindled recently, and her mind had resettled into the distinct chaos of clashing futures. The only thing that offered true clarity was creation. So she sat down on the stone, trying to think of a new invention. She spread her four, many fingered hands across the surface, pressing deep into the rock, feeling the matter change beneath her skin. None of the new rocks offered clarity for long, being far less important than the marble she'd first made. Nevertheless, she named them "Basalt, Gneiss, Granite, and Andesite." before going on her way. Maybe one day they would discovered by others and proliferated, but she found only disappointment in them, and hurried on towards what she hoped would be more clarity and creation.

(Ahhh the new home is nice ) Valkoinen returned to her den, making multiple trips to bring the stones of notable size back with her. She stacked them in a wide circle-ish shape, though it was far less then perfect. Even so, she continued to pile the rocks upon themselves, stacking them higher and higher. As the top became less stable, she added more stones to the base and built from there. Once she deemed the structure to be tall enough, she began to create more of the 'sand' and 'gravel' that her siblings had discovered. She let it fall between the crevices of the stone filling the holes. After hours of scrutinizing the structure, she deemed it ready. She began to jump, combining her heavy weight and power to force the materials together. Her strikes left claw marks in the stone, but she continued on for even longer. Finally, worn out and sore, she retreated down to her den to rest for a time. She would make this structure taller, and make more of them so that her own didn't stand out. Just later. Maybe if her siblings discovered more great things, she could add them and make her structures even better.

Though the new creations were exciting, the group had eventually gotten weary of socializing and creating and had, for the time being, parted. Osarus wandered across the surface of the world, placing the creations of his and his siblings' here and there where the surface seemed dull and boring. He took pleasure in creating different structures and formations from the creations, and found that though there was a finite number of components, they were quite versatile, and the number of ways in which they could be combined to create new sights was seemingly endless. There was no way to measure how much time had passed, but in what felt like both a few seconds and an eternity, the eldest brother had spread mountains and valleys across the land, filling them with water or covering them with sand or gravel or gemstones.
After a while had passed, and Osarus came to a lull in his work where he stood in a valley, wondering with which material he should fill it, he felt something strange beneath his feet. Heat? Yes, that was definitely heat, faint but certainly there. He doubted any of the others would have been able to sense it, but his body was made of stone just as the world was, and he recognized the faint disturbance of energy. This confused him- stone did not create heat. What could be so hot, then, that he could feel it in the stone itself? Curious and somewhat concerned, Osarus crawled along the valley, trying to find a location that was somewhat deeper than where he was standing now, to see if the heat was any stronger lower down.

(Ahhhh that's so great Valko! The move went smoothly?)
Bakhola loved her new creation and the way it lit up the cavern around her. But soon the heat began to get overwhelming, causing the very air to shake and tremble. So she burrowed upwards, away from the heat and towards one of the pools she had made. Emerging just beside the water, it began to trickle down the new tunnel towards the lava, but she neither noticed nor cared. The water was cool against her feathers and she cleaned herself well in it before drawing herself from the water and glancing up towards the cavern ceiling. She had heard rumblings in the earth lately, which meant one of her siblings was hard at work. While she valued her privacy in the depths, she couldn't help but be curious as to what new creations they were working on. But getting out of the tunnels and to the surface was harder than she had thought it should be. There was no denying she had grown this time, standing nearly twice as tall as before and more than twice as long. She chewed her way through the stone to widen it, gradually making her way upwards towards the surface.

(The move went great, and my husband's family is so welcoming. :3 His parents were actually really surprised to see how well I'm doing. They were worried that my depression was getting worse when we visited around Christmas, but they're so supportive its hard to be scared or worried here ) Valkoinen lied herself down on the floor of her den. After a moment of shifting about to try to achieve comfort, she remembered that she'd wanted to line her den with sand. With a short sigh, she got up again and she clawed a few chunks of stone off the ceiling of her cavern. She pressed her claws over them, grinding the stones into the floor. Quickly the rock was broken down to softer sand and she settled herself once more. She gave a small smile of achievement. She'd completed so much today, and she couldn't help but be proud of what this place might become.

(yeah it do. but things are so much better now. They said that even when we move out for work (our line of work causes us to travel a lot) we have a permanent home with them, which is much more than my own family really offers)

(Aw that's unfortunate. That your family isn't as welcoming, that is; it's good that his family is there for you. If you don't mind me asking out of curiosity, what is it that you do?)

Mahren sat alone on a large expanse of stone, cross-legged. It was quiet here, far more peaceful than when they were surrounded by their siblings, creating who knows what. Mahren could feel the tugging of their siblings on their form. If they moved just a little further, they could see them, speak to them. Mahren always resented that they couldn't be their own self except when they were alone, but time had forced them to embrace it. With others they lost their sense of self, but without them they were nothing but a weak pile of matter. Sighing, they raised themselves to their feet with one long arm. It was time to meet their siblings once more. It was time to create. They latched onto the faint whisperings of his siblings’ feelings, and began walking.
(Sorry this took so insanely long to finish, I was extremely low on creativity.)

Valkoinen woke from her nap and stood up. She shook the sand out of her fur, frowning a bit. It was a little harder to clean up than she'd expected. At least it was softer sleeping than the stone. The gravel couldn't be a better option. Perhaps if she found something to cover the sand, she could sleep on it without needing to pick the grains of sand out of her fur.
She moved out of the den, following the tunnel that was now significantly longer due to the increased size of the mound. She turned her head upward, looking toward the peak. Still not high enough. She needed to make it bigger. Then she'd start on the next one.
