kody richard forte Time: 9:34 pm Location: Element Nightclub, on the corner of 42nd st. and 6th ave. With: Skylar, Hadley, Timothy
Perhaps being the first to arrive was the best possible turn of events for one Kody Forte. In the half hour or so it took for the next arrival to appear, he had downed another drink and found a pair of ditsy looking girls while at the bar ordering his third that followed him back to his seat. With two drinks in his system and a pair of chatty girls sitting across from him, he found himself loosening up as all his worries of the upcoming school year easily slipped to the back of his mind.
Lazily propping his arm on the table, Kody pretended to listen as the girls droned on aboutβ¦ what was it they were talking about? He really didnβt know and didnβt particularly care to. A final swig from his glass and the last of the beverage was gone, leaving only ice cubes that clinked as he set the glass down on the table. Perhaps the night wouldnβt be so bad after all. The first reuniting of the Upper East Side kingdom since the start of summer. It was guaranteed to be an exciting, if not drama-filled night. And like the troublemaker he was, the latter was what he craved. It had been too long since there was some drama that didnβt directly influence his life.
Speaking of whichβ¦
Here was Skylar Brennan, parading over this way, holding a glass of⦠Red wine? He snickered at the sight, causing the girls across to hush at the sight of another approaching socialite. God, he would have loved to make fun of her for her choice of drink--Really? Red wine on a Friday night? What are you, a 40 year old middle-class soccer mom?--but he held his tongue, instead opting to aim for another sore spot of hers.
βDonβt act so surprised, sis.β He tacked on the final word in an icy tone, glaring up at her with glazed blue eyes. While he knew she wasnβt particularly happy about the whole arrangement with her father and his mother, he was hardly bothered in the slightest. With his parents having split up at a very young age, he was used to seeing his mother and father with different flames throughout the years. The fact that his mother had actually decided to remarry after all these years did surprise him, considering how she went through men on a monthly basis, but Skylarβs father was nice to his mom, and as long as she was happy, he was happy. The thought of having yet another sister didnβt particularly thrill him--especially not one Skylar Brennan--however they only had to tolerate each other through the wedding and perhaps family dinners every so often. Frankly, it seemed like quite the challenge considering just how intolerable she was, but going to live in France with his father was always a viable option.
Out of nowhere--perhaps he was too preoccupied with his own thoughts to notice--the Queen Bee herself, Hadley Hale, appeared from behind Skylar. It seems he wasnβt the only ones who noticed, as the girls who Kody had previously been βlisteningβ to seemed to both gaze in awe and cower in fear at her presence. It wasnβt surprising--it had been like this since they were little. She was Hadley Hale after all. An amused sneer couldnβt be stopped from growing on his face at their reactions. God, he had missed her.
βThanks for that, Hadley,β he spoke dully, dismissively brushing the remark aside. It wasnβt a particularly sore spot for him, though he didnβt like when other people brought it up. He couldnβt quite tell if it was said in malice or as a joke, but didnβt question it.
Suddenly feeling small as he sat, while everyone else was standing, the male stood to offer up a seat with a sweeping gesture of his hand, however a third approaching figure that he couldnβt quite place right away caught his attention. Ah, Timothy Grayson. Heir to the Grayson Empire. How could he forget? The two had some classes together the previous semester, and Tim had been kind enough to help in some of their assignments. He hadnβt known what he was expecting of the Grayson heir, but it certainly wasnβtβ¦ that. Tim was nice. Too nice maybe. He still wasnβt sure what to think of the other male but he had been appreciative of his help.
βYes it can,β he huffed under his breath, rolling his eyes toward the ceiling but dropping his gaze halfway through. βHowβre you, Tim? Have a nice summer break?β he asked politely. He picked his glass up from the table and gave it a little shake so the ice cubes clinked the side of the glass. He was definitely going to need another drink. Or ten.

stella petunia hamilton Time: 9:41 pm Location: Element Nightclub; the bar With: who dis
Her first night back in NYC and everything was just as she remembered it. The blinking streetlights, the symphony of honking car horns--the city never stopped moving and it was nice to be back in its seemly endless midst. Yes, on the surface it seemed as though nothing had changed. Well, besides the roster of nightclubs, but as expected, those changed like the seasons. Element Nightclub would run its course and eventually shut down allowing the next generation to flourish briefly in its place. βTwas its inevitable fate--the circle of NYC night life. However, that didnβt mean you shouldnβt enjoy it while you could.
And that was exactly what Stella Petunia Hamilton planned to do.
Shutting the door to the stereotypical yellow taxicab, Stella turned her attention to the rather uninteresting exterior of Element Nightclub. This? This was the cityβs βHottest New Hangoutβ? Seemed rather boring, but she had been wrong before. Once past security and through the door, into the thundering bassline and pounding drumbeat, she felt her doubts melt away and replaced by a sly smile. Music loud enough to drown out your thoughts--just as she liked it. Feeling more at home than she had since arriving in Grand Central Station this morning, she slid easily into the crowd of dancing clubbers without a glance back.
No more than ten minutes later, she reemerged at the other side of the crowd, perhaps a little more roughed up that she had when she had entered. Man could that crowd dance. Unfortunately she hadnβt come dressed for dancing, which was perhaps a dumb move on her part--this was a nightclub after all--but nonetheless these Louboutins were not made for dancing. Besides, her tight fitting designer jeans didnβt make moving around all the easier either. Oh well, tonight would be one of those βdrink til ya canβt thinkβ nights. It would likely have to be--when you got the fantastic fourteen all together in one place things didnβt always go as smooth as butter.
With the bar in sight, and several clicks of her heels on the plastic cup-littered floor later, Stella slipped onto one of the barstools and tapped her fingers impatiently on the marble top. After ordering a shot--she needed something concentrated and quick to take the edge away--she peeked over at the people seated to her left and to her right. One looked as if sheβd had one too many, practically falling off the stool, and the other was staring with--what was that emotion? Envy? No (but everyone should be). Jealousy? Noβ¦ Interest was the only word she could think to describe the look the mystery male next to her cast on her group of peers. She too gazed over the four bodies gathered in the private VIP area, wondering if they had missed her over the summer or if this whole party was all an act with some ulterior motive. When the shot arrived, she quickly downed it, feeling the burn as the spirit brushed past her tongue and warmed her throat. She daintily placed the glass down and ordered another with the wave of her finger.
Suddenly, she was curious as to who this person was she sat next to, and what his deal was. It was very possible that he was just admiring the two ladies of the group--Hadley and Skylar--but perhaps there was a juicier, more interesting reason for his stares. βSo,β she began, brushing along the length of his arm with her hand to get his attention, she spun around in the bar stool to face him. βDo you know them?β she asked nonchalantly, motioning with her shot glass towards the group of NY socialites before crossing her leg and downing the second shot with the ease of a party-girl who's been doing this sort of thing since she was fourteen.

sage troy williams element nightclub.Traffic was definitely something Sage could live without. She had been waiting for the car to move for around ten minutes now, and in all honesty she was about to completely lose it. "Can't you just step on it?" she threw her head backwards against the leather seat with what could only be described as a growl, "I had an exhausting day and all I want to do is have a drink and feel sorry for myself." A discontented sigh could be heard as the limo driver gripped the steeling wheel tighter, his knuckles turning white as he hunched forward with a muttering whisper.
"What would you have me do? Run down pedestrians?" He gave her an exasperated glare through the rear-view mirror. Sage, unamused by his attempt at sarcasm, tilted her head to the side with a overly wide smile.
"Precisely." she responded sweetly, opening her door despite his protests, getting out of the vehicle before slamming it shut with a surprising amount of strength. And, even though she happened to be in the middle of the street, Sage took her sweet time getting across it. She didn't care, as usual, not even when a cab driver slammed on his brakes and repeatedly slammed his fist down against his steering wheel, adding to the lovely sound of blaring horns and screeching tires that blasted through the city's night air. "Oh!" she shouted, throwing her arms up in the air, "I'm so sorry -- did I prevent you from moving a foot forward? What a tragedy."
When Sage made it into the nightclub she had only one thing on her mind. That was, of course, ignoring everyone else's existence and downing a few drinks without any regrets. She didn't usually like nightclubs, preferred not to be crowded into dark places with loud music and sweaty people, but hey, it's not as if she went every night like some people who had nothing better to do. The bartender, a very happy looking person (much to her disgust), cheerfully began to ask her what she'd like but Sage already had her hand up to silence him. "Just get me something strong and make it quick." Running a hand through her brown hair, she presumed to study her surroundings with very little interest. There was an overwhelming amount of girls wearing distastefully short dresses and mini skirts who look suspiciously young to be acting the way they were, and Sage couldn't help but feel a little bad for them. Then her gaze landed on familiar faces, oh well look at that. Her eyes rolled at the sight, realizing she had sat a little too close to them, thanking god that she had opted for the black spaghetti dress over the red one. Maybe they would just continue to converse with each other and leave her be to get wasted alone. Not that she really wanted to get wasted or anything, she just wanted to sit there and have a few drinks and then talk herself out of the few more she'd ultimately order.
