Amalthea eyed Allen bandaging herself and, raising a concerned eyebrow, asked "Are you sure you're okay? Because if you are, I ought to get to Defense Against the Dark Arts. If I'm late, I'll be forced to be a volunteer, and I don't like that very much, to be honest"
She tucked a strand of long platinum blonde hair behind her ear, waiting to find out if the younger student was okay before leaving to go to her own class

"Just got roughed up a bit by some other students, I'll be fine though!" Allen brushed it off with an easy smile, slapping a hot pink bandaid onto the cut near is elbow before getting up and almost gasping at her," wait! I'm actually heading to that class right now! I'm really bad at it but it's probably my favourite one."

"Really?" Amalthea asked "I love it too. I'm not bad at it though - I practice a lot, so I guess I got quite good at it"
She thought for a moment, biting her lip, before finally continuing "You know, I could teach you if you want?" she offered "A bit of extra practise can come in very handy, you know"

Allen's eyes seemed to get brighter by the second, jaw hanging loose as he stared up at Amalthea then he practically squealed out, "Really?? You would teach me?? Yes, please!!!" he jumped in placed before taking her hand and shaking it as fast as he could, "I'm Allen Shenston by the way! Hopefully you haven't heard of me until now!" ((that's it. I adore him. He's dumb and tiny and I love him))

[ Ahhhh, late reply. π¬ Sorry about that. ]
Lilja let out a small chuckle. "Ohh, wow." she commented, watching as Vivienne tucked the sewing kit away. Privately, she was doubtful. Her father always said that psychics were mad and delusional. After seeing the divination teacher, Lilja couldn't help but agree. However, she simply asked, "So. Is your cousin like, all-knowing or what?" I don't know anything about psychic abilities, she thought with a wince. I hope I don't sound ignorant.

[eheheheh me too, he's adorbs. I feel like his sibling-y relationship with Amalthea will be adorable too]
Amalthea laughed "Calm down, I only offered to tutor you, not buy you a puppy. I'm Amalthea - Amalthea Lux. I don't think you've heard of me, but yes, I've heard of you. You have a little bit of a reputation as a prankster. Just a little bit"
He was, under the surface, a very sweet boy, Amalthea could tell. And, admittedly, she was just as excited as he was to tutor him.

((don't worry about it!))
He's mystified by his own mystery, I think. He delivers what he needs to on what information he gathers; however, a lot of it is pretty vague unless he dreams about it," Vivienne shrugged," Though his husband, Levi? He's an auror, and he probably understands Hali better than I will." She shook her head and grabbed her bag. "Were you headed anywhere? I'd like to join you if I may, I need to stretch my legs."
((cx I think so too))
"Eheh, I kind of figured as much." Allen rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, letting go of her hand before glancing at the clock,"We probably both need to go soon, but when will you be able to teach me?"

"Whenever you want to start. We can do it in the library at lunchtimes if you want" Amalthea asked as she followed his gaze to the clock, swelling when she saw that they were definitely a little late

"Ah." Lilja nodded, deciding not to comment further. She stood up, swinging her black bag over her shoulder. She started to walk. "I'm free for now." she added, beckoning for Vivienne to follow her. "I have Charms next, if you wanted to know." Lilja stood outside of the library, taking a deep breath. Only then did she realize that she had forgotten to complete the reading assigned for homework. I'll just do it later. she told herself.

"Okay! Though, if we're performing any spells, we should probably do them in a safer spot? My spells tend to, uh.." he widely gestured and made a boom sound with his lips.
"Divination for me," Vivienne chuckled at the irony of it, falling in step with the younger student and swinging her bag onto her side. Glancing down over at Lilja, she tilted her head and hummed, "You forgot something, huh?"

Amalthea nodded "I know. There are scorch marks all over the ceiling of the Defense against the Dark Arts room. And the Charms room. But don't worry; we won't be doing any spells straight away. I think first I'll teach you how to cast spells without making things explode"

Allen flushed, nodding with a small hum, "At least I knocked him out though," he muttered under his breath. Though the whole event with a particularly jerkish Gryffindor had landed him in detention while the other got a trip to the infirmary for a minor bump on his head and tiny burns.

Lilja stopped and stared at Vivienne. "Whatβhow did you know that?" she asked, startled. Is SHE psychic? she wondered, but she dismissed the thought almost immediately. She scratched her head guiltily. "And yes, I forgot to do my reading assignment for defense against the dark arts." Lilja shrugged, not overly concerned. "I'll do it later. I'll sneak-read in class, or something . . . not a big deal." Lilja turned to Vivienne. "So. What's your favorite class?"

((sure! Do you wanna start or should I?))
Vivienne simply grinned and started walking,"Women's intuition." At Lilja's question, she slowed down to think before giving her answer, "History of Magic and Astronomy, what about you?"

Lilja snorted a laugh. "Those are my least have favorite classes!" she said with a shudder. "History is boring and Astronomy forces me to stay up at night." Lilja wasn't exactly a night owl; far from it. She was more of an early bird than anything else. Lilja hesitated for a moment, then responded, "I like charms, though transfiguration is interesting when I'm actually able to, you know, transfigure things." She shrugged. "It takes a lot of practice."

[ Sadie Lark | 15 | Ravenclaw ]Β
Sadie was slightly amused to see that Belle had jumped, but she kept this to herself. She shrugged at the question of where she was heading, her next class wasn't for a while. Sure, it was halfway across the school, but if she ran she could stay out here a little longer. "Maybe after that rat," Sadie said, watching as it scuttled on. "I haven't seen one wandering Hogwarts in a while, it could possibly be magic!" She couldn't quite hide her excitement, but she never could. She came from a muggle family, and even though she was a fifth year it all still felt brand new.Β "H-how about you?" Sadie asked, mildly embarrassed by her excitement. Belle FriesenhahnBelle looked back at where the rat had scurried to. It seemed to be followed by its owner, one of ger Gryffindor classmates. She never really talked to him though. Then again, she didn't talk to a lot of people. "I highly doubt that stupid rat is magical. But I just finished what homework I had for my classes so I was thinking about skipping. However, I don't think I have the guts to do it." She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. She wasn't a fan of Hogwarts. If only her mother was stationed somewhere else. She wouldn't complain though, a more interesting life than saying you lived in Texas your whole life and got your wealth through stock shows.

"Ah, I like Transfiguration classes too; Speaking of classes, I could help you with writing assignments, I have an old writing assignment for Defence Against the Dark Arts in my bag actually, you could copy off of it or paraphrase." Vivienne dug through her bag, pulling out old parchments and handing them over, "How far are you getting in Transfigurations though?"

"No thanks. It's just a reading passage about Erklings. We're going to see some of those wretched creatures tomorrow. Lucky me." She rolled her eyes. "And we have to read about them first. I know it's necessary, so we have background and whatnot, but it's still boring." They walked for a moment. "My Transfiguration class is learning cross-species transformations. We just started attempting to turn a rat into a mouse. All I managed to do was shrink the rat's tail, but heyβit's our first day of doing this!" Lilja cocked her head. "What about you?"

"Ah, my Transfiguration class? We're doing Human Transfigurations," Vivienne sighed heavily, rubbing her temples at the mere thought of it," It got so complicated even I had to ask for the professor to repeat the lecture, and we were only changing the color of our eyebrows. I got stuck with white eyebrows for almost 30 minutes, it was embarrassing."

Lilja made a face. "Poor you." It suddenly occurred to her that she would be doing that very subject in two years, assuming she passed her OWLs. I hope I don't end up with white eyebrows. Or worse. "What are you doing in . . . uh, Potion class?" In contrast to the majority of Hogwarts (who usually had a love-hate relationship with the subject, depending on their Houses), she was had no opinion on it. She got decent grades, but she was no prodigyβfar from it. Potions was mostly a "meh" sort of class.
Of course, it was very interesting to see all of the different substances.

If only it wasn't herbology,Vivienne thought to herself, grumbling softly as she strode past Daniel with an armful of books, carefully avoiding any stray pieces of paper or novels that floated by, it could have been any other subject but no, herbology is the first one I'm being tested on. The sixth year student set the books down unceremoniously, attempting to ignore her surroundings for a while to get to study, but everyone knew the library was the hardest place to get work done until a certain time of day. AdriΓ‘n glanced up from her hiding spot when she felt a nudge at her foot, watching Slinky slip past her with a raised eyebrow. At least it wasn't Searle, he tended to be more clingy and stubborn like a certain wizard she had named him after. Sighing heavily, she pushed the curtain back from the window with her foot, carefully sliding out and trying to keep from stepping on the rat. As long as Allen didn't find her she would be fine, right? No talking to anyone today hopefully-- and then she saw James. James dived after Slinky as he darted behind a curtain. Completely oblivious to the person in front of him. Catching his rat with both hands James held him tight as he stood up, the still squirming creature wriggling to be free again. "Come on now James, lets get back to the common room so you can roam around safer there." He said and went to walk straight forward, his eyes still on Slinky. However, Slinky was once more released as James bumped into Adrian. "Oh, I didn't see you there, sorry about that!" The gryffindor said, eyes watching Slinky run away over the girls shoulder.

"I'm not very fond of that class, but it is pretty interesting; we're currently learning Golpalott's Third Law for antidote production, which is fairly fun if you like standing 2 feet away from a deadly substance.. Or several." Vivienne pursed her lips again, then looked over to Lilja once more. "Are you trying to get a feel for what you're going to do in a couple of years?"

She spoke to the rat, a habit she developed after spending so much time around Bread and Dough, Allen's barn owls, who were actually quite talktative in their own way. Glancing up at James, she fought the urge to rear back at his sheer height, immediately glaring in response to her own mild fear.
