"I guess that could be interested." Jack admitted. The screen went dark for a moment, then a message saying silence your cell phones now lit up the screen. He pulled out his phone to make sure.

βοΈOOC:βοΈ Have you seen Moana?
βοΈIC:βοΈ Norman already had his phone on vibrate so he didn't really need to check, it wouldn't make much noise-or any at all. Norman watched as the short movie played before the actual one. It was interesting, the contrast between brain and heart. He had a tendency to usually listen to his brain more, so he honestly felt a bit like he could relate to the guy on the screen. Though sometimes impulses did take over.

Yup ^^ I saw it like two weeks ago. The animation was super pretty, and the short before it was pretty good.)
Jack thought the short had an interesting concept. It was no surprise to anyone it ended with romance either, but it didn't necessarily focus on it which was nice. Something that had been noted about Moana was that it had not romance. Jack was usually against all the cheesy stuff. He glanced at Norman. But lately found that there were some things he could stand.

βοΈOOC:βοΈ Same, I liked the movie.
βοΈIC:βοΈ Once the short ended and the movie began, Norman was quickly captivated by the music and story at the beginning, he had a tendency to get engulfed into a movie or a book...shows, comics, games even, basically he was totally taken with it, diving into the world and shutting everything else out until it was over. You were lucky to get more than some very expressive facial expressions from him during the movie. He got way into it.

Jack noticed this of course and was more interested in how the other reacted then the movie. He had to admit the pig in the beginning was pretty freaking cute, and the chicken was funny. But his gaze kept flitting back to the other.

βοΈOOC:βοΈ Text
βοΈIC:βοΈ Norman so far, liked the music. It was nice, and the animation was nice, plus Hay Hay was great, so overall he was enjoying the movie as it panned out, however when they got to the part where she left and then there was the spirit ray...Norman couldn't help but frown, of course they killed her off. Family relations were very important to him, so that was hitting at a bit of a hard spot. But still, the movie was great so far.

Jack also found himself feeling a but sad about the grandmothers death. The scene with the ray that was leading her left a sort of hollow feeling. Like with Big Hero 6 and the scene in the vortex thing. Movies just had to hurt the likable characters. No exception.

βοΈIC:βοΈ As the movie continued, Norman got way into it, leaning forward and only occasionally reaching for popcorn, though he usually had his drink in his hands and drank it fairly often. Then to save time, we'll say this went on for the rest of the movie until the ending credits started.

Jack stretched as the movie ended. There was probably a short after the ending credits so he stayed in his seat. Looking over to Norman he asked "What did you think of the movie?"

βοΈIC:βοΈ Norman looked over at him and grinned. "It was great! I loved it, Hay Hay was my favorite. What about you?" He asked, glancing back over at the screen, idly nodding his head along to the music that played.

"Hmm, I think Moana was pretty cool. If we are talking about animals though, the pig was definitely the best." she was cool for a 'princess'. Lately the movies had been getting better on that front. Moana was a super likable character.

βοΈIC:βοΈ Norman nodded along. "Moana was great, I liked the part where Maui trapped her in the cafe and Moana almost said something that wouldn't be very child friendly," Norman explained with a cheeky grin. "Disney's getting a little less careful."

"I had to laugh at that. It's almost like watching a show you watched as a kid and getting all the references you didn't get before." the little clip after the ending was over so Jack got to his feet and stretched. Appreciating the movement after sitting down for so long.

βοΈIC:βοΈ Norman nodded along as he hopped up onto his feet. Stretching slightly. "Moana was a good choice," he decided, looking up and over at Jack. So far it had gone well, and he got to see a movie, which was great. So really Norman had no complaints.

"I'm glad you liked it. It seems that we can hang out like normal people. You know, without throwing insults or planning the others timely demise." he walked out of the theater and threw the empty popcorn and drink into the trash. He still had half the Milk Dud box left and kept it with him as he walked past the trash.

βοΈIC:βοΈ Norman chuckled lightly as he followed after, throwing his own empty cup away. "Hey, who says I wasn't planning your demise in there?" He joked lightly before he paused slightly and looked at Jack. "...You know, it's a little weird, lowering my defenses around you when you're the whole reason I put them up...but it feels nice, at the same time," he confessed. Figuring he might as well share his thoughts.

"I'll agree with you there." Jack nodded "Who said change isn't good?" the 'date' was soon going to be over. The idea made his heart sink a bit, but he couldn't keep Norman around forever. They both had lives.

βοΈIC:βοΈ "True...this was fun, we should do it again sometime," Norman told him, after all it was basically over but he had fun, and despite himself finding it odd, he really wouldn't mind...going on another date with Jack...though it did bring up a few problems of its own...like what happened if they did continue to date?...How would anyone react to that?

βοΈIC:βοΈ "Well, whenever you're available," Norman told him, shrugging slightly as if trying to appear casual. "...But uh, hey Jack...if things continue to go well, what will we do? The whole school kinda thinks we hate each other," he reminded.

"Well, we could always just try and reason with them... Or maybe a secret relationship of sorts? I almost don't want to go to the work of telling the entire school. If we stop being so openly enemies people will move on and forget. Probably." he wasn't too positive it would work, but there was a chance.

βοΈOOC:βοΈ Text
βοΈIC:βοΈ His friends wouldn't forget and despite them being his friends, Norman had to worry about what they would think....probably would think he had gone crazy, and in a way he was still wondering that. His friends were stubborn too...and rather set in their ways. It was a feud between his group and Jack's that went back years. He doubted either of their friends would react well to the news, and they definitely wouldn't understand...however he stayed quiet on his ponderings.

Jack didn't say anything either. He led them out of the theater and said "I'll text you later. We'll be back to being enemies on Monday." he offered the other a smile and checked the time on his phone.

βοΈOOC:βοΈ Text
βοΈIC:βοΈ "Sounds like a plan," Norman said with a smile as he looked up at Jack, how did you end a date with your old enemy? Awkward hug? Kiss? Wave goodbye and skedaddle while you still can? He didn't really know...so he figured he would go with the first thing that came to mind and stood up tall enough to kiss him on the cheek. "Well....cya later," he decided after a pause of what to him was awkward silence.

It took a moment for him to react. He brought his hand to his cheek and blinked before saying "Yeah, bye." with that he turned and made his way to the bus stop. The was certainly surprising, no matter how many times it may have happened.
