OOC Awesome cause like I was hoping for time travel. I was thinking maybe two people are already time travelers and get repeatedly stranded in different time periods...idk how though.

awesome! like, in different time periods or the same as the other? I'm assuming the same for interaction's sake, but it wasn't 100% clear. anyway, it's a really cool idea! maybe whatever allows them to travel through time is faulty and breaks down or something? idk.

OOC Yeah same time periods. Also yeah that could work! So they sorta just have to keep repairing it as they go.

right, exactly! I could see the timetravel being made possible by some external device that they'll have to repair or being some sort ofsupernatural ability that for some reason goes awry in this new time period, though the latter won't so much need to be fixed as figured out.

OOC I like the idea of the device. Maybe they have a small time travel machine and it's core sorta breaks down fairly often, thus throwing them in all these different time zones together and they have to fix it repeatedly to get it to work?

I like that! and there'll be different challenges depdning on the time period, getting rare metals or complex techonology will definitely be harder in the past, and who's to say they still use the same parts in the future? I'm getting really fond of this idea.

OOC I don't think so, I'm good with just seeing where this takes us tbh.

OOC Text
IC Kia had actually just recently said goodbye to Ethan, her boyfriend, for the time being. She had to get to class soon and wanted to say hi to Dallas first, and Ethan had to talk to his friends anyways. She hadn't been dating Ethan for that long but so far things were going great and she was really enjoying being with him. Of course some of her other friends had to disagree with her choice, but she was happy.

yeah, same, I feel like this is a plot that's better winged. before we start though, do you want to plan for romance or would you rather plan for a friendship or another form of relationship?

OOC Maybe romance? Idk. Whatever you want.

OOC Text
IC Kia looked around as she heard her name and smiled as she spotted her friend. "Hey Dallas!" She greeted as she walked over to him. She really hadn't spent much time with him lately, she would have to make up to him for that sometime.

I think it might be nice to just see where it goes. like, we make our characters with no specifics in mind and just see how they work together.

OOC Yeah I like that idea. I'm gonna even make a new character for this.

I think I might as well, honestly. can you think of anything other than characters that we need to sort out before we start? setting, maybe, like what century they're from and where they are when we start, but other than that I can't think of anything.

OOC Maybe they're from the future? Like far enough to have time travel, but not too far into the future?

Post by πβππ π£π on Nov 26, 2016 13:24:57 GMT -5
OOC Yeah I think that should be good, they could be from year 2175 idk, I just picked a random number.

OOC Hmm how about we switch back and forth, like you can choose the first time they're in the I can choose the second and so on and so forth?

that's an idea we could work with, sure! if I were to pick first, I'd say an early Victorian seting could be fun to work with. it's not so drastically different from how the future might be, but it's different enough for trouble to arise from it.
