Everything's okay c: it was a photo shoot. )
Ryder let out a shaky breath and held onto her, gently of course. It would be alright. She was okay, he wouldn't do that again. And if he did... if he hurt her again... he had an uncle a few states over who wasn't completely horrible. He could go there, isolate himself for awhile because Ryder is dramatic.

[ OH GOOD I WAS WORRIED ]
Cassiopeia snuggled closer to him, taking a deep breath, shaking less and less. Her breathing evened out as she hugged him a little tighter, eyes closed tightly, before taking another deep breath, glancing up at him with wide eyes. "I'm not mad," she smiled, genuine.
Antonio yawned, a little sleepy himself, glancing at Hazel, who was out, and Eli, who was dozing off himself. He glanced down at Skye, smiling lightly. "Maybe we should all head to bed soon. At least, us," he smiled, wider, admiring the way her cheeks were a little extra rosy from the leftover buzz. He loved the way it brought forth her little freckles, and made her face look even more beautiful, if that was even possible.
Soon enough, Cass drifted off, followed by Ryder and then Antonio and Skye. The cabin waa quiet, mostly, except for the occasionally incoherent mumbling from Cassiopeia, a sign she was distressed.
She was the first to wake the next morning, yawning, still snuggled close to Ryder. He looked so peaceful, asleep like that, and Cass hated to wake him. But, she also really had to pee. So, she kissed him gently, on the cheek, soft and sweet, before pulling away, feet making a soft "padding" noise against the ground as she gently made her way over, scratching her head lightly as she did.

Ryder was the next one to wake up of course, panic flaring through his chest when cass started to leave but he quickly relaxed, making himself stand and go get tea. That would help with the slight hang over and the anxiety.
Skylar was the next to wake up. Though like usually she didn't move, not wanting to wake up Antonio. Frankly she didn't really want to move anyway.
Eli was the last in the group to wake up. And only woke up because of Ryder poking him over and over again in the shoulder with his foot. "You going to sleep all day or join the living sunshine?"

Hazel was the next to wake after Skye, yawning and sitting up, rubbing her eyes. She had fallen asleep sitting next to Eli, head on his shoulder, and she awoke on the couch covered in a blanket. No matter, she was well rested. She got to her feet, feeling a slight pain in her leg as she did, but brushed it off as morning stiffness, limping about to get ready for the day.
Antonio was next to wake after Hazel, yawning and then kissing Skye's forehead, grinning at her, the two having occupied the couch again. He sat up, pulling Skye with him gently, glancing around at everyone with squinty eyes before rubbing his scruffy face. "What do you all say to going for a nice, easy hike today?" he asked softly, smiling warmly as Cass emerged from the bathroom, ready for the day with a somewhat nervous smile. "I'm down if you guys are," she said softly, muscles a little sore from yesterday's running, but not too terribly. She moved over towards Ryder, getting out mugs for tea, throwing a shy smile at him, uncertain. But she wasn't mad, and she knew it was an accident. She had just been frightened, and so had he. It was just a...an accident.
Hazel tilted her head, glancing down at the sleepy Eli with a grin. "Well I think I could use a hike. My leg's getting a little stiff," she giggle, tapping her boot lightly with one hand before taking a deep breath, waiting on everyone else's response.

Eli groaned and rolled over, covering his face with his arm.
Ryder managed a faint laugh, still poking Eli. "Skye will tickle you. Don't make Skye tickle you Eli. "
Eli mumbled something under his breath as he got to his feet and walked to the bathroom, pretty stiff. Ryder went back to his tea.
Skylar rolled her eyes, kissing antonios cheek before standing up and getting her bag down again.

Hazel shrugged as Antonio looked on, questioningly, before smiling down at Skye, kissing her back before letting her go. Hazel watched, quietly, as Cass helped pour the tea for Ryder. Everyone one was strangely quiet. Hazel chocked it up to leftover tension from the day before. She yawned, stretching, before limping over to get her stuff down from the overhead as well, trying to decide what to wear on the hike.
Cassiopeia lightly sipped her tea, hands shaking lightly as she did, still a bit nervous from everything that had happened recently. She just wanted things to be normal again.

Ryder took his tea and moved back to the couch, sitting down as Skye searched through her bag. She pulled out a pair of shirts and a flowy tank top. She set the fabric on the edge of the couch before putting the bag away Again.

Cassiopeia instead chose to lean against the counter, unsure of how Ryder was feeling. He seemed...distant. And it worried her. She wanted to ask him if he was okay, but she was distracted by Hazel, who was pulling her own clothes out.
Antonio waited until everyone was finished before heading to get ready himself, coming back to the main area. "Is everyone ready?" he asked, voice still a little groggy with sleep.

Skylar looked around and nodded. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Hazel, do you feel up to hiking?" She asked, glancing down at her foot.
Eli had the same train of thought. "If you don't feel like going I'll stay here with you, Haze. "
Skylar pulled her camera bag on over her shoulder as Ryder finally stood and pulled on his shoes. "I'm ready. "

Hazel blinked, blushing slightly under all the sudden attention. She glanced down at her foot, pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah, I think I'm alright for hiking. Thank you, though," she said, smiling shyly at Eli before limping over to the door.
Cass set down her mug, heading over to stand next to Ryder, not saying anything. Antonio noted how quiet she was, and wanted to ask if she was okay. But, he also knew Cassiopeia liked to work things out on her own. So, he said nothing as they all filed out, Antonio coming out last.
Once outside, Cass stretched up on her tiptoes, reaching her arms up and wiggling her fingers as she tried to touch the sky before relaxing, arms swinging down by her side, slightly relaxed. Hazel limped behind the group as Antonio took the lead with Skye, not minding that she would have to take a slower pace. She was used to be alone.

"Alright. If you change you're mind let me know. " Eli told her, holding open the door. He stayed closer to Hazel, more at peace when he could see the entire group and make sure everybody was okay.
As they started walking, Ryder hesitated before reaching for cass' hand, though he'd completely understand if she rejected him. He
Skylar, unlike normal, didn't reach for antonios hand, mostly because one hand was supporting the lens on her camera, and if she wanted to take a picture of something it was easier to have her hands free. But she stayed close to him.

Hazel was surprised at Eli being so close to her, as the boy usually preferred Skye or Ryder or pretty much anyone else over her it seemed. She was, however, grateful, and continued steadily along, heart thumping a little faster. "Hey, Eli, can I ask you something?" she mumbled after a moment, turning a shy gaze to Eli.
Cassiopeia jumped slightly at his touch, taking his hand gently however, cheeks a light pink. He'd startled her slightly, as she had been deep in thought, studying everything around her. Her eyes were wide, taking in everything all at once, in that curious way of hers, and she subconsciously drew slightly closer to Ry, feeling very small all of a sudden, which was quite ironic for the giant of a girl.
Antonio noted the camera and was not at all fazed by Skye not holding his hand. He knew her photography was her passion, her life, and that she needed to concentrate when she had her camera, so he didn't want to distract if he could help it. He merely walked along beside her, quiet and observant, thinking to himself.

Eli glanced towards her and nodded a little bit. "Yeah, sure. What's up?" He asked, suddenly a little nervous. What kind of question was it?
Ryder stayed quiet for the most part, holding cass' hand as he looked around. He missed hiking. He had used to do it a lot, but after the accident he had stopped going for long walks because of his knee. But it was finally healed all the way, and sure it still bothered him on cold and rainy days, but he was mostly fine.
Skylar would sometimes brush her arm against antonios, flashing him a smile each time. She fully intended to drag him out for another walk later, just the two of them.

Hazel drifted a little closer to him, thinking for a moment. "How long have you known Skye?" she decided after a moment, watching the her and Antonio exchanged glances full of words beyond what any of them could understand. She wondered how long she and Antonio had been together. It seemed to her like forever.
Cassiopeia moved closer, slowly, swinging their hands lightly as she walked, looking around. Cassiopeia loved the outdoors and the warmer weather and just being where there was so much life. Everything was so vibrant and calm, and she soaked it all in. Her house had always been dark, her room the only one that allowed any natural light, and when Matthew would come in, he would make her close the curtains. It was always so dark. Her hand shook slightly, and she tightened her grip on Ryder, searching for some bit of reassurance. "Hey Ry," she started, voice soft and unsure.
Antonio grinned at her, knowing what she was thinking without her saying a word. He loved that they could do that, that he could guess what she was thinking. He also loved not having a clue. It was nice to know, but it was also fun not to know, because he surely did not know everything. But, he enjoyed learning all that he could.

"Almost eight years. " Eli said after a second of thinking. He had known her since he was 12. Man that was a long time ago. He glanced over at Hazel, sort of confused by the question.
Ryder instantly noticed how tense she had gotten, gently brushing his thumb over her hand. "Yeah?" He murmured, keeping his voice soft. He couldn't hurt her again.
Skylar kept smiling, pretty relaxed right now. There was no major drama in the group today. Antonio was here. That's all that mattered.

Hazel noticed the confusion and looked down at the ground nervously. "How long have she and Antonio been together?" she asked quietly, feeling rather silly. It seemed like forever, and for as long as she had known them, they had been. But every now ans again she caught a faint reminder of how much of an outsider she was when she had come in.
Cassiopeia drew closer, hands no longer singing, arm pressing against him. "I just...wanted to thank you. I know you son't like to talk about it...but you honestly, probably, saved my life, and I feel like I haven't thanked you enough," she bit her lip, glancing away, eyes hard to read; distant. She didn't want to think about where she would be now if he hadn't...done what he did.
Antonio smiled, enjoying the view he had. A clear shot of his girl, a nice glance at his crew, and the open skies all around them. This was what this whole trip was supposed to be about, and he was glad for the reminder.

"Like, together together? Or how long they've known each other. They were friends before I met them. So I'm not really sure. " Eli said with a shrug. All he really knew was if you invited one, you got both. No matter how hard he had tried, it was impossible to separate them.
Ryder listened to what she was saying before shaking his head. "You don't need to thank me. I'm here to at least try and help. Besides, you've probably saved me a few times too. " he admitted, shifting his weight from one leg to another. After his first attempt, he had planned on trying again, but he never got a chance with Eli and cass taking turns watching him.

Hazel bit her lip, pausing for a moment, leg feeling a bit sore. "Well, do you think they're going to get married someday? Does that kind of love and happy ending even exist?" she questioned cynically, eyes dark. If her sister had had that love, would she still...Hazel shook her head lightly, disspelling that thought as she looked at Eli, eyes almost...desperately hopeful. As if she needed to hear yes.
Cassiopeia slowed in her walk, hesitating, glancing up at Ryder with worried eyes, frowning slightly. "Hey Ry, promise me something?" she asked, eyes wide and pleading.

Eli wasn't so sure that it did exist. Until he looked at Skye and Antonio. Maybe it was just hard to find. "Yeah, I do. It's hard to imagine them without the other. " he admitted. "So that kind of love has to exist. "
Ryder glanced down at cass, suddenly seeming a little worried by her expression. "What is it?" He asked gently, his own eyes sort of wide.

Hazel breathed a soft sigh of relief, starting to walk once more. She was quiet for a few moments, heart thunderin as she glanced at Eli. "Hey Eli? Do you think we're ever gonna find anything like that?" she blushed faintly, biting her lip and glancing at the boy with wide, now hopeful eyes.
Cass slowed a bit more, hardly walking at all. "Promise me you won't ever leave me? That no matter what, we'll always at least be friends? Promise me, please," she blurted, tightening her grip on his hand, worried that if she let him go too far he might disappear. She couldn't bear the thought of life without him, nor did she want to.

Eli shrugged against. "Who knows. Maybe. I'd like to think so." He said, tipping his face up to the sky, "but there's no guarantee in anything. "
Ryder hesitated at the request. He had already made up his mind that if he hurt her, he'd leave. He couldn't convince himself to stay. Yet he slowly nodded. "Of course. We'll always be friends, Cass. "

Hazel looked away so he couldn't read her face, slightly nervous, thinking that he would see she had meant him and her. She bit her lip again, thinking. "Do you think I'll ever find someone like that?" she mumbled, sighing, mostly to herself.
Cassiopeia glanced around before coming to a stop, looking at him dead in the eyes and pulling her free hand up. She was completely stoic, void of emotion, save for her eyes, which were burning with something hard to describe. "Pinky promise me," she demanded, waiting.

"Yeah, I do think you'll find somebody. You're a great person, you'll find somebody that sees that. " Eli said, looking at the ground and kicking a stone along the path with them.
Ryder frowned a little, though of course he lifted his hand to meet her demand. Even if he moved away, he'd always consider her a friend. So... it wouldn't be breaking a promise.

Hazel was surprised that he heard her, glancing up with a slightly open mouth at his comment. She flushed a brilliant pink at the praise, turning her gaze downward as her heart thundered in her ears. "Oh, well thank you!" she grinned, eyes warm as she glanced over him. She was quiet for a moment, studying him. "You know Eli, you're a really great guy, and I think any girl would be lucky to have y-" She was cut off as her boot caugt on a tree root and she went flying forwards, feeling her leg twist beneath her.
Cassiopeia eagerly latched onto his pinky, still staring into his eyes. "Do you, Ryder, solemnly swear that you and I will be best friends forever and ever and that you will never, ever leave me?" she asked, completely serious now, hope sparkling in her eyes despite her sober expression.

Eli was in the middle of shaking his head when she tripped, instantly reaching out to grab the back of her shirt in hopes of catching her. Maybe he should take her back to the bus.
Ryder but his lower lip, trying not to laugh. He knew she was serious but it just sounded so Ridiculous. "I do. We're going to be friends no matter what, cass. You know that. "

Hazel fell just betond his reach and thudded into the ground with a gasp, breath knocked out of her from both the fall and the sudden rush of pain that filled her. "Ah," was all she could say, tears welling in her eyes as she lay there for a moment, gasping for air.
"Uhm? You have to promise not to leave me," she said, holding on tighter to his pinky and s******ing closer, eyes wide, still serious. She meant it. "You've gotta," she pleaded, softer, desperate.

Ryder looked somewhat uncomfortable before nodding again, slowly. "I promise. " he told her, voice barely above a whisper.

Hazel gasped, tears starting to spill over. "Oh my gosh...it hurts so bad...oh my goodness," she stammered, pushing herself onto her side, wrenching her leg out with a soft cry of pain, face contorting now. "Ah," she cried again as she tried to shift, the pain worsening now.
Cassiopeia breathed a sigh of relief, smiling shyly now as she squeezed his pinky for a moment before dropping it. She leaned forward, kissing him lightly for a second before pulling away. "Good, it's official!" she exclaimed, grinning and starting to walk again, seeming more relaxed.

Hazel nodded feebly, lips trembling as she struggled to be brave, eyes watering ferociously as the pain seared into her leg. "It hurts real bad," she mumbled, mainly to herself as she struggled for relief, chest still gasping faintly for air. She reached towards Eli with a sniffle, trying to keep the tears away. Because she didn't ever want to let Eli see her cry and think she wasn't strong.
Cassiopeia slowed, tilting her head faintly, unsure of how to put it into words. She was quiet for a moment, studying the air around them as she came to a halt, looking down at a little patch of flowers. "I guess...I dunno, I guess I just wanted to make sure you're really mine. You're something wonderful in my life, and I wanted to make sure I could keep it. I don't get nice things a lot," she scuffed her shoe into the ground, lightly touching the flowers with her toe, sighing slightly, not really pleased with how she put it but unsure of how else to say it.
