Sootwhisker paced in a tight circle.. He had been feeling a little pent up today— despite already being put on a patrol earlier that morning. “Would anyone like to go hunting?” He asked loudly so that his words could reach the ears of any cats remaining in camp.

(Sure!)
Lionscorch carried a rat into the nursey, his eyes seeking out Songbreeze. So far, the pregnancy seemed to be going well, though the dark tom was always worried for Songbreeze's health. Was she doing alright? Was she feeling sick or weak? He prayed to Starclan that everything would be alright.
Honeypaw looked around for Crystalpaw, wondering if his sister would be available to spar with him. Seeing as Coalpaw was so far behind that he could hardly fight a kit, Honeypaw had to depend on other means to keep his skills sharp. Starclan forbid he look rusty in front of Oakstalk, lest his mentor never let him hear the end of it.

(Vixen!!!)
"I'll join you!" Viperpool offered to Sootwhisker, moving to pad over towards the other tom. "I needed to stretch my legs anyway...and...who knows. Maybe we'll catch some kind of scent, if...if Talltalon and Ravenpaw have returned." The energy in his voice morphed to heaviness at the reminder that his clanmates were still missing.

Songbreeze was curled up into a tight ball in her nest. It was nice a cozy after Lionscorch had given her some down to keep her warm. Slowly lifting her head with a yawn she couldn’t help but purr spotting her mate, “Lionscorch,” she meowed the small she cat didn’t get up from her spot.
Crystalpaw moved out of the apprentices den stretching a bit yawning slightly.

(Hey Everyone!)
Tumblefoot silently crept over to where Goldberry had pointed. He pressed low to the ground, keeping his eyes on the place the prey would appear and making sure to keep still that he wouldn't be spotted by them.
"No, go back to your mother." Ratmask lightly curled his lip, just showing the tips of his fangs. He turned his back to Lightkit to focus back on what he was doing.
Cedarstar was still arguing with Snowdance about Ashrock.
Scorchfire was getting a border patrol together.
Cliffheart padded out of the warrior's den and paused to stretch his back. A yawn escaped his throat. He had been out late last night on a hunting patrol and had to admit hunting at night was his favorite kind of hunting. He settled down to sit and looked around the camp, frowning lightly when he spotted Cedarstar arguing with Snowdance. It was sad to know that Northstar was gone, especially since she had given him one of her lives, but he did wish Cedarstar the best. He's not going to be able to grow if he keeps letting his feelings about his brother hold him back.
Kinkfire was cleaning her pelt outside the warrior's den, staying clear of Cedarstar and the medicine den. She didn't want anything to do with her brothers' drama.
Ashrock was poised in the medicine den, his narrow eyes peeking through the brambles to watch Cedarstar and Snowdance and his ears perked forward to listen to what they were saying. He ground his teeth in annoyance. OF course, Cedarstar wouldn't let him out of this wretched punishment!
Littlemoon stood by the fresh kill pile, her gaze distracted toward the nursery in wondering if they had enough to eat.
Smokestorm wasn't being helpful at all around the camp and was rather snoozing the day away in a patch of sunlight. His brother, Eaglesight, kept shooting him annoyed looks. Smokestorm had to be the laziest cat in the clan.
Frogleap was looking for Hollowpool, he had managed to catch a frog not far from the camp that morning and was hoping to share it with her.
Palepaw and Whorlpaw were wrestling by the apprentice den. Each of them not realizing their father was arguing with Snowdance.
Rowankit was sitting below Clan Rock, staring up at it with wide eyes. He flicked his tail with annoyance. He was ready to be an apprentice. Why couldn't he be one now?
Longkit watched his sister and father across the camp from the elder's den.
Closesky laid in a patch of sunlight outside the elder's den, but he was hardly relaxing. His green gaze was watching Cedarstar and Snowdance across the camp. A sigh broke from his throat. Cedarstar shouldn't be doing that out where the whole Clan could watch him.

Opalmist frowned slightly hearing Cedarstar arguing with Snowdance her ears pinned back a bit as she shook her head looking away. Though her gaze landed on Ashrock staring at him not sure how she felt about him, how could he have done what he did to his brother. That is not how one becomes deputy. Her tail lashed behind her in anger why was she so suddenly mad? She shook her head.
Owlshadow let out a small purr walking towards Cliffheart, “Hello my love,” she spoke happily her eyes glowing lovingly. She was rather in a good mood whenever she was around him.
Moonpetal and Marshsong were sharing tongues together quietly talking to one another.
Swirlheart yawned laying in the warm sun letting out a low breath her fur ruffled a bit in the breeze.
Jaysong laid right outside the nursery her belly round with kits she would have. Letting out a low breath she couldn’t help but shift to groom her belly fur.

Sootwhisker dipped his head to Littlemoon and Viperpool. “Alright. Do you two have any spots you want to head to? I tried hunting near the WindClan border earlier but had no luck.”

(I forgot Houndthroat and Russetshade...)
"Oh, don't give me that look." Ashrock shot Opalmist a glare when he caught her look. "You and everyone else just don't understand."
"Owlshadow." Cliffheart purred and nuzzled her cheek. "What have you been up too this morning?"
Houndthroat padded over to Scorchfire to join his border patrol.
Russetshade was trying to round up Strikekit and Rowankit.

Lionscorch purred as he padded closer to his mate, leaning down to press his muzzle to hers and deliver the prey to her. "Have you been doing alright? No pains or troubles? I can get you anything you need, just say the word!" He offered, orange eyes glowing with hope that she was alright. "Crystalpaw, there you are." Honeypaw called to his sister as he sauntered over towards her. The golden tom gave a light puff of breath. "Do you have any time to spar with me? It's dreadfully difficult to find a good partner and I certainly like your company more than most of the others."

As soon as the golden warrior hissed, the carrionpile began to rustle with life, a plump rat scrambling out of one of the holes in shock. It skittered around the pile, unknowingly in the direction of the awaiting black tom, unable to see the cat with how well he blended into the black carrion bags behind him.
Lightkit pouted lightly, determined not to give up. "But you never play! And...er, I'm not supposed to tell mama I left." She mewed secretly, glancing back at Longkit. She squeaked out. "Come help me! Papa won't let me help!" She pleaded with her brother.
Brittlefoot watched the kits with a humored chuckle, though it soon trailed off as he looked curiously at Ratmask. Something seemed to be up with the younger warrior.

Opalmist looked at him lashing her tail, “No. you don’t understand. A deputy is someone the clan looks up too, one who will some day become leader. Someone who is a role model and takes care of those around them,” she shook her head, “Not someone who taints prey to take advantage of a weakness. Where is your pride, your loyalty to kin and your honesty?” She asked her multi colored eyes locking with his. Moving closer towards the tom, “I hope you learn from your punishment. Because the clan will never forget,” she told him, “It’s a stain on your pelt you can never wash off,” she paused in front of him.
Owlshadow purred softly, “I was out on a patrol early this morning. What about you?” She asked him nuzzling her mate softly there was a purr to her voice.

I have plenty of pride in ShadowClan and loyalty as well! Everyone is so blinded by Northstar choosing a Closesky copycat as her deputy, they don't see my brother for what he really is! Cedar star isn't what's best for the Clan! He's weak and indecisive! And after Northstar, ShadowClan needs someone strong! My brother isn't that and eventually there will be a time when the rest of the Clan finally realizes that!" He sniffed and looked back toward Snowdance and his brother. "Don't talk to me about stains on my pelt. At least I'm willing to get dirty for the sake of the Clan!" "Sleeping off a night hunt." Cliffheart chuckled in reply and licked her cheek. He looked off toward the nursery, then to where Eaglesight and Smokestorm were laying in the sunlight. "Can you believe our kits have already grown so much?"

"Oh." Littlemoon flushed and her ears grew hot. Sootwhisker wanted her to lead the way? She didn't think she was that good at leading patrols. "Um...okay." She twitched her whiskers in a failed attempt to hide her flush. Glancing at Viperpool, Littlemoon started for the camp entrance.

Songbreeze purred softly looking at her mate, “I’m fine,” she laughed softly nuzzling him happily. She knew he worried for her and the kits sakes it was rather sweet of him. She knew there were risks with how small she was but she was in good paws, “Both Snowdance and Opalmist say all is good,” she purred.
“Spar? With me?” Crystalpaw asked tilting her head before smiling softly, “Sure....where is Coalpaw though?” She asked her brother walking towards him meeting him half way.

Strikekit hurried away from Russetshade. “Can’t catch me!” He yowled, enjoying giving her trouble. He hurried to try and hide in the elders den.
Hollowpool groomed her ‘injured’ leg. It was all healed by now and she was just working on making sure it was at full strength. She looked up at Frogleap approached. (They’re mates now right?)
Oakstalk looked for Honeypaw, deciding to run him through the paces today.

Cedarstar grit his teeth. "Northstar's orders were that he stays in your den until both you and I can come to an agreement about his loyalty. Now, he may have you fooled, but he has done nothing, in my eyes, to prove his loyalty to this Clan. He will remain where everyone will be able to keep an eye on him and I have nothing to say to him!" Snowdance lashed her tail, cursing her leader’s stubbornness, “How can we come to an agreement when you refuse to even spare him a glance? When you flat out refuse to talk to him?” Snowdance looked at him for a moment before shaking her head, “You can’t hold on to this grudge forever, Cedarstar. It’s only going to cause more problems. Not just for you, but for the whole clan.”

Something flashed in Opalmist’s eyes as she stared at the tom her fur ruffled in anger. Though she fought hard to push down those feelings, “Then you don’t know what a true deputy is,” she growled lowly, “You will never be deputy acting the way you are. You put shame upon yourself,” she moved past Ashrock her body tense, “Think of the warriors who have come before you. Those who have been deputy and leaders. There selflessness, there sacrifices, there rises and falls. Each one strong in there own right. Northstar chose Cedarstar because he showed those attributes to be a leader this clan needed. Not you,” she spoke shaking her head.
“I can’t believe it. Songbreeze is expecting her first litter soon... after everything..... we’ve built such a strong and loving family. Being by your side....you’ve made me such a happy she cat,” Owlshadow purred lovingly keeping close to him.

(Yes, Fox, they are mates ) Russetshade flattened her ears. "Strikekit--ugh!" With Rowankit running off toward Clan Rock and now Strikekit was running into the elder's den? She couldn't keep up, let alone be in two places at once! Longkit backed up when Strikekit almost ran into him. "Woah, watch it!" Frogleap dropped the frog down at Hollowpool's paws. He grinned from ear to ear. "Hi." "I'm doing the whole Clan a favor for keeping him in your den." Cedarstar lashed his tail at the medicine, not at all aware at the commotion he was causing and the eyes lingering their way. "You can't seriously believe that he's learned his lesson. If I let him out of everyone's sight, he'll only come after me again!" Ashrock grit his teeth and his fur bristled at Opalmist's words. "Cedarstar has you all fooled! Don't you see it? He's a fake! He may act like a precious little leader, but when things get hard, he won't know what to do! He'll flake and the Clan will pay the price! I am plenty capable of being a better leader and deputy than him!" The 'after everything' comment coursed a shiver down Cliffheart's spine. He pressed against Owlshadow, fighting against the memories of the dark that came creeping into his mind. "I don't deserve this." Cliffheart purred softly and nuzzled against her neck. After everything he had done, he didn't deserve to be happy. What deserved was what Northstar saved him from, but he had been given a second chance. "But I'm so thankful for it."

Having kits, you and I...I just don't want to ever see you in pain though." His ears fell, a rare show of hesitation replacing the tom's usual courage. "Is there any other Crystalpaw?" Honeypaw snorted lightly, though his eyes danced with a hint of teasing. He flicked his ears and sighed. "Coalpaw is still stuck, seeing as Ashrock is still in the medicine den and I doubt he'd truly care much about our brother's training. He wouldn't be able to keep up with-...ngh." Honeypaw cut off with a sigh, noticing Oakstalk looking around. "There he is, the cat in ShadowClan with the best timing in existence." He muttered sarcastically. "It looks like we'll have to cut the spar off for another time, unless Oakstalk will be kind enough to let you join us." He sighed.

Opalmist turned her head her eye glaring at him as she stopped dead in her tracks, “Keep it up. In due time we will see what happens,” she spoke her tone icy as she stalked out of the den her ears pinned back to her head. She was angry but why was she so fuming? She had no right to talk about deputies and leader succession. But she felt like she needed to say something.
“You do deserve and don’t you say otherwise,” Owlshadow shook her head before pressing close to him, “You deserve too be happy and to have this life,” she purred to him lovingly.

Ashrock squinted back at her, his pelt actually prickling in unease with her glare. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Cliffheart chuckled fondly, but he didn't say anything else. He was so grateful for her, she had been there for him since the day he came begging Northstar for help, the day he had been exiled so harshly from SkyClan, but he hadn't told her everything he had done as a follower of the Dark Forest and she didn't need to know. Instead, he remained leaned against her, turning his gaze to look out at the Clan and the cats he didn't deserve, but had anyway. His kits, his friends, his former apprentices. CLiffheart sighed, Cedarstar was still arguing with Snowdance about his brother. I wish there was something I could say to him. But he didn't have room to talk. Cliffheart had killed his brother. "I would say all of us deserve the same."

“The only one your doing a favor for is yourself.” Snowdance hissed, becoming increasingly annoyed with him, “My den isn’t a prisoners den, it’s a medicine den! A place of healing, not a place you dump all your problems so you can ignore it! If your so worried about him coming after you again, then maybe assign a guard to keep an eye on him at all times, but I will tell you, that’s not exactly the best use of your warriors.”

Goldberry rushed quickly after a rat that had surprisingly shot out from the very hole he had hissed into. The warrior had just barely avoided a bite from the prey, lunging his paws onto it as it tried to run. He gave a grunt of effort as one of his claws cracked off against a twoleg scrap, leaving a jagged stump of the claw left. He killed the rat quickly, but frowned at his sore paw. “Did you get one?” He called to Tumblefoot as he padded carefully on his paws after burying the rat as best as he could. Lightkit’s eyes drooped at the snap, flattening herself a bit before she pouted sourly. Kicking a pebble with her paw, she looked away from Ratmask and huffed. “Hmph. Fine! I’ll just play with Longkit then...” She turned to scamper back towards her brother, trying not to look mopey. Brittlefoot watched after the kit, his voice hesitant but sympathetic as he looked at Ratmask. “I don’t think she meant any harm...Er, I can finish up if you wanna spend time with your kits?” He offered.
