I just checked the front page and it doesn't look like it.)
Shellstream and Troutfang were about to head to Sunningrocks, wanting to enjoy them before ThunderClan threatened them again.
Salmonpaw and Koipaw were practicing an advanced battle move, hoping to become warriors soon.
Glacierkit was resting with Frostlake and Lakekit.
Icepath picked up a fish from the fresh-kill pile.
Earthstar was watching patrols go out, making sure everything was in order.

Earthstar was watching patrols go out, making sure everything was in order. “Are you two still practicing out here?” Iciclepaw snorted as he approached his brother and sister. The prickly tom flicked his tail and sighed. “How long has it been? Do you ever take a break?” Puddlekit quietly approached Frostlake and her kits, his eyes wide with curious intent. Maybe the younger kits would want to play with him. “That’s the last of them.” Diamondheart mewed with contentment as he padded towards Earthstar. The patrols were now out, and the deputy had just finished helping to patch the last few holes in the dens. He stretched, silver and white fur shifting in the light breeze. “I increased the Thunderclan border patrol numbers. With this nice weather and Thunderclan probably recovered much from their rouge issues, we can only assume they’ll start nosing around for Sunningrocks.” He reported.

Just a forewarning, I have to leave for a concert soon)
Salmonpaw gazed over at his brother in exasperation. “Come on, Iciclepaw. We just want to be ready for our assessments. Don’t you?” he questioned.
With Salmonpaw being distracted, Koipaw easily got the upper paw over him, executing the battle move with ease. “A distracted warrior won’t be a good one,” she mewed, though there was a playful edge to the statement.
“It wouldn’t surprise me, given their history.” Earthstar responded, flicking his brown tail. “However, it looks like the water levels are starting to rise. Maybe it’ll send a message.”
Glacierkit noticed the other kit, initially shying away at his size. “Who are you?”

He sighed. “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. I train at other times...hng, Salmonpaw, with a mentor like Brookheart, you’d think you’d get pinned with less ease than that?” He challenged. “Thunderclan always has a way to overcome obstacles. More than likely they’ll think we’ll depend on the river rising and try and mark it then. But! They can’t fool me, or our patrols.” Diamondheart chuckled. He moved to sit beside Earthstar, breathing out. “I feel content though. Good, relaxed.” He admitted. “Oh! Ah...I’m Puddlekit.” Puddlekit jumped a bit, but quickly introduced himself to Glacierkit. “Brookheart and Paleeyes are my parents.”

Sure)
Earthstar was out on a patrol, checking the borders to make sure nothing strange was going on.
Icepath and Troutfang were repairing a hole in the warrior’s den.
Shellstream was eating a fish after a hunting patrol.
Koipaw and Salmonpaw were trying a new fishing technique.
Glacierkit was sitting in the nursery.

Shellstream was eating a fish after a hunting patrol. Koipaw and Salmonpaw were trying a new fishing technique. Glacierkit was sitting in the nursery. Brookheart seated himself near Koipaw and Salmonpaw, nodding with approval as he commented. “You both have improved greatly in your techniques. I’m pleased to have you join our training today, Koipaw.” Iciclepaw scoffed as he padded up to Icepath and Troutfang. The cool tom looked at his father and rumbled. “Mother told me to assist you before she left. Even though she knows good and well that I can’t reach the tops of the dens yet.” Ivymask padded close behind Earthstar, mewing to the older tom conversationally. “So. How are things going with the new litter?”

Koipaw shuffled her paws at his praise. "I'm glad... all these new techniques are really helpful." she mewed, peering into the water for any fish.
Salmonpaw nodded in agreement. "We've almost made it to the end. I can't wait for my assessment!" he spoke, wanting to nudge his sister but stopping as to not break her focus.
Troutfang gave a sigh at his son's tone. "You'll be fine. I can help you reach the top, or you can try somewhere else to fix."
Icepath let out a chuckle at their exchange. "Are you suggesting you aren't ready to be a warrior quite yet?" she teased the apprentice.
"They're going great." Earthstar responded as he continued walking along the border. "Glacierkit and Lakekit are very curious about the other kits, but they aren't afraid. Frostlake is doing great making sure they stay safe." he purred.

"Glacierkit and Lakekit are very curious about the other kits, but they aren't afraid. Frostlake is doing great making sure they stay safe." he purred. Brookheart watched the two apprentices with a deep chuckle. The senior warrior nodded once and mewed. “I know you both and your siblings will do fine during your assessments. Your desire to learn more proves it. Now. Let’s see how well you’ve practiced the technique.” He offered. Iciclepaw scowled lightly at Icepath, hiding his embarrassment under his prickly exterior. He snorted. “Oh please. I’m more focused than anyone else when it comes to my training.” Wanting to prove himself, he shook his head at his father’s words and mewed. “I’ll handle it myself. I’ll just work on the lower half.” He moved to begin working. “That reminds me. With Frostlake in the nursery, Iciclepaw has been worried he’ll fall behind. Is there any cat who could finish up his training?” Ivymask asked, her tone respectful yet unwavering as usual. She eyed the leader steadily, glad to hear her mate’s younger siblings were doing well.

Koipaw nodded, continuing to watch the water for any movement.
Salmonpaw spotted a ripple, readying himself. Once the fish was close enough, he lunged for it, disappearing under the water momentarily. When he returned, the fish was in his jaws.
"There's a start." Troutfang nodded in approval, moving to fix the top of the dens so his son could handle the rest.
"You'll be a warrior in no time," Icepath remarked, moving to the other side of the dens.
"Even though there are many apprentices, I can definitely find a warrior willing to do so." Earthstar answered confidently. "I was thinking of giving a younger warrior a chance to finish his mentoring, but with Iciclepaw so far in, someone experienced would be better."

Brookheart nodded with calm approval as he watched his apprentice rise back up with a fish. He mewed. “Excellent accuracy. This technique is hard due to the intense requirement of timing and accuracy.” He explained. Iciclepaw felt a flicker of heated embarrassment fill him again at the praise. The prickly tom was not one to deal with such words easily. He coughed once, before lifting his chin and mewing. “Naturally. I do as best as possible. You do not need to praise such things.” He half-lied, unsure if he disliked the attention, or if he loved it. “An experienced warrior will also have the patience required. Iciclepaw is a very dedicated apprentice, but he is brutally honest and is good at picking out any hesitations. I admit he takes more from my side, your grandson does.” Ivymask admitted with a small sigh. She looked at her leader and mewed. “I think he just needs someone he can connect with his own age. He likes to think he’s more mature than the others, but I do think he’s just as desiring of company as the others are.”

Salmonpaw brightened at the compliment, setting his catch to the side. “You can do it, Koipaw,” he encouraged his sister.
Koipaw looked even more determined once Salmonpaw made a catch. She didn’t take her eyes off the water.
“Don’t worry, Iciclepaw,” Troutfang laid his tail on his son’s back, “You’ll get there when you get there. I know you don’t like taking the spotlight, but that doesn’t make you any less of a warrior.”
Earthstar nodded as he listened. “He is definitely a bit different compared to his siblings, and even the other apprentices. Most don’t have the patience and maturity of experienced warriors at that age. But he still has a lot to learn.” he spoke.

Brookheart watched Koipaw with a twinge of humor, seeing such a strong focus. For a moment, he was reminded of his sister, when they were apprentices and so focused on being good warriors. Back before they realized just who their parents truly were. His smile faltered at the memory, and his chest ached lightly. Iciclepaw twitched lightly as his father’s tail rested on his shoulders. He didn’t look at Troutfang, stubbornly working on the den, even if his ears felt hot. “Hng. I’ll become a dependable Warrior. Riverclan will not have to worry about that. Oh, father please.” He puffed once. “I’m too old for tail touches.” He tried. Ivymask nodded once. “I was hoping he’d act more like his age, let loose and feel like an apprentice. I realized too late that I made myself grow up too fast. Got too focused on my duties that I forgot how to really live.” She was grateful that Troutfang had helped her relax more, helped her curb her snappy temper. She gave a small snicker. “Just know that Iciclepaw does not aim to harm. He’s just sharp-tongued and stubborn. But he’ll never act that way to you or other older warriors. I have faith he’ll learn like I did.”

Suddenly, Koipaw had a window of opportunity. She took note of the sudden ripples and went for it, rushing into the water with a splash. She was underwater for a moment, struggling with the catch, before reappearing out of the water. "How'd I do..?" she asked, clutching a trout in her jaws.
"Well, you caught it," Salmonpaw smiled, shaking his pelt. "but we're all wet."
"You will. And so will your siblings." Troutfang mewed, speaking a little more seriously than before. He wondered if Iciclepaw would ever come to him or his mother once he became a warrior. Even though he was a full-grown warrior, he sometimes desired the wisdom of his father, and he always missed his mother.
"I know." Earthstar reassured her. "He may have a sharp tongue, but he's a good apprentice. I'm confident he'll grow into a strong and confident cat, open or not."
