Sweetpaw huffed slightly before looking at her sister moving her stance to copy her sister trying to get this right. Applepaw giggled a bit but shook her head trying not to distract them. “There you go. Much better!” Bubblepaw nodded her approval, before she smirked at Applepaw. “And what about you, Applepaw? Got any cool moves you learned that you can show us?” She teased.

"Looks like we won't be doing any fishing anytime soon," Nettlesplash sighed, pawing at the ice with a frown. "Even if there was still ice in the middle, we could at least fish if the banks were thawed. Guess we'll have to wait a bit longer, huh?"
"Size will have some affect on how quietly you're able to move, but there are things you can do to give yourself an edge. For example, moving forward one paw at a time, and putting weight on it gradually rather than all at once. That way you make a consistently small amount of noise that blends in with the background noise of the forest. Watch how I walk," Littlebrook explained, dropping into a practiced hunter's crouch. She moved forward, letting her pawsteps sink into the snow slowly so the crunching noise wasn't too obvious. With the wind overheard causing the trees to shake, the ambient noise covered up her movements some. (Moonblazer here's my last posts, they're from a while ago but if you wanted to keep going with these scenes I'm up for it hehe)

Applepaw looked at her frowning slightly, "Well... not really," she shrugged not really wanting to show off. She flicked her ears stretching out.
Sweetpaw looked at her sisters smiling happily.

The young yet serious she-cat shook her head and mewed. "There's nothing much we can do about this on our own. Let's see some of the other streams and report back to camp." She waved her tail. Fluffpaw watched her mentor intently, wanting to perfect as many of the motions as she could. She refused to let herself fall behind due to her larger paws and heavier body. She crouched low, copying the movements as best as she could.

"Aw, you buzz-kill." Bubblepaw teased. "Is there really nothing you wanna show us? Come on, we won't get embarrassed, or judge you. You're our sister, and clearly you're doing good, right?"

Nettlesplash nodded, casting a brief glance at Foxripple before turning to follow Orchidnight. The frozen river always posed a problem to RiverClan when it came up, given how much of their diet consisted of fish in the warmer months, but they'd done it before and they'd do it again. "Looks like we're eating birds and rodents for a while," she sighed in disappointment.
Littlebrook stayed in her croached position, watching Fluffpaw's form closely. "It's a good start," she meowed. "When walking like this, it's important to be aware of your surroundings, both what's in your way and what noises are happening around you. If you step at the same time a breeze blows by, you're less likely to be heard." She straightened up, flicking her tail. "With the snow out, there probably isn't a lot of prey to catch, but the best way to learn is by experience, if you ask me. Let's see if we can catch anything, and you can put that new skill to practice."

Applepaw shook her head, "Im doing fine....," she spoke moving to look around for her mentor, "I should go back and train anyway. I will see you two later," she mewed moving to head out.
Sweetpaw frowned watching there sister sadly flicking her ears looking a bit upset her ears pinning back.

(Awesome! I'll just set it in the morning, since I have no idea when the RP left off.)
Tawnypaw was sitting at the entrance to the apprentice's den, peering out into camp. She and Willowpaw had become somewhat familiarised with RiverClan since arriving, but neither she-cat was brave enough to initiate conversations - Tawnypaw especially. Whilst Willowpaw had quickly picked up on Clan traditions and such, Tawnypaw was more socially awkward, and still had no idea what to do with her time outside of training and talking with Willowpaw. She knew about StarClan, although she was yet to fully believe in them, and had a vague idea of different ceremonies, but she was still terrified of making a mistake.

We’re doing swimming training now that it’s warmer!”

Tawnypaw perked up when she heard Owlwhisker calling out to her, flicking one ear. "I'm here, I'm here!" She mewed happily in reply, bounding up to her mentor with her tail high over her back. She had been looking forward to swimming again for a while - the river had firmly frozen over several times over leaf-bare, making it impossible to swim. Not that she could get out of camp with the snows so high, though... “There you are! Good to see you so eager! If there’s one thing I loved, it was learning how to swim real well. Come on!” Owlwhisker motioned with his long tail, padding towards the camp entrance.

Tawnypaw padded alongside Owlwhisker, her strides long and jaunty as she hummed quietly, in a content manner. Her head was up, her ears perked, and she glanced around every few seconds. Every once in a while, she would dart off the path in pursuit of some prey animal or another - however, she never returned with prey in her jaws. “Careful not to scare off all the prey!” Owlwhisker snickered with humor, never one to get bothered by his apprentices doing some exploring. He had grown up in Twolegplace the same way. He flicked his tail and purred. “The river’s right up here, and the ice has melted. It still might be cold though, so don’t go rushing in.”

“Yeah. That’s always the hardest part for us shorter furred warriors. We have to get used to that chill.” Owlwhisker scampered up to his apprentice’s side. His icy blue eyes inspected the water before he began slowly wading in, tensing against the cold and reminding. “Just think of warm things! And take it slow!”

Tawnypaw took a deep breath, before slowly starting to enter the water. She yelped as the water began to rise up her legs, but fought against her instincts to back out, and continued into the water. Finally, it was up to chest level, and she began to paddle, pushing herself out into the river. “Good! Just like that. Remember, kick your legs in an even motion. If you’re out of rhythm, you’ll only make it harder for yourself.” Owlwhisker swam near her, keeping watch to make sure she wasn’t having any struggles.

Tawnypaw listened carefully to Owlwhisker, making sure she was on-rhythm. Suddenly, her fur snagged on something underwater, and she began to sink. She paddled frantically, starting to panic, but then she ducked underwater... Owlwhisker made a noise of surprise, before he moved quickly, ducking under the water to grip at Tawnypaw’s scruff. Using all his might, he pulled her with him, breaking the water with a gasp through his nose. He paddled strongly, pulling her to shallower water.
