...also known as Ravenshade's Art Gallery
Bonjour forumers! If you've been around the art forums on the old website for a while, then you probably know me. I became pretty popular back in the day for a novel about foxes called "Fictitious Events", and then I also had to semi-known projects called "Alternate" and "City om Stilts". I made lots of friends over the years on that art forum, but sadly eventually it became extremely inactive and the community essentially died. Now on this new website it's looking up again, and I'm excited to try and be a part of this new group of lovely artists! With that said, feel free to talk with me about really anything! I'd love to get to know you! And if you knew me in the past I'd also love to hear from you again.
Now I am going to be posting some old art here (fictitious events and alternate! stuff) so just keep in mind a lot of it is going to be dated. I am however going to set up this gallery in a fashion in which newer art will be nearer to the top, and older art will be nearer to the bottom of the page. I'll also post doodles and sketches sparsely throughout this topic, though I most likely won't be posting them to the front (since again, they are just doodles and sketches).
If you'd like to trade with me go ahead and ask! I can't promise I will accept since I am fairly busy, but if your art is around the same level as mine I most likely will. I can draw humans and animals, and I can try to draw anthros if need be.
If you're confused about anything at all here, I have more posts below this one that should clear up everything. If not, feel free to ask me questions!
About the Artist
I'm Lili (you can call me that, June, or Raven; whichever you prefer). I'm 18, in between high school and college (attending community college part-time right now), and I'm currently bouncing around from state-to-state trying to figure out where the heck I should live (right now I'm in Portland, next stop is Santa Cruz). I'm a future History major (woo!) and I do debate, art, and writing on the side. I really love taking care of houseplants (I have a lot. I can tell you their names and quirks and everything, I love them), and I also indulge myself in frequent museum visits too! I'm super interested in politics and consider myself a democratic socialist (also a member of the Justice Party, if anyone knows anything about the third-party system), and I'll be happy to talk about it with anyone who wants to. On that note, I'm not incredibly comfortable with outright debating ever, so if you're looking to do that, please do that elsewhere. These forums aren't exactly the place for that.
On the side I'm currently working on getting a job at the public library in NC (where I'm attending college for a semester), and I own lots of dogs. Ok, technically only four, but still. They're great. I really really love OITNB, x-files, fringe, dexter, twin peaks, mr robot, sense8, anything w/ anthony bourdain in it, and best of all, the walking dead!! I love movies to death and I'm a huge film junkie- if you are too I'd love to talk movies as well!
Besides all that fun stuff, I'm also a chronically ill person (spoonies for like ayy) with lots of medical complications and illnesses up my sleeves. My schedule can be a little crazy about that, as frequent doctor/ER visits are pretty commonplace for me. :V
Lastly I'm a cis female (she/her pronouns), I'm bisexual, and I'm an ENTP
I think that about covers it. If you have any questions or just want to chat, shoot me a note!! I'll be happy to respond and meet new people!
Projects of Mine:
Fictitious Events: an old project I am no longer working on. Was once very popular on the forums but once it ended so did the following. You can find old pictures on it on the last post here! The project was based on a group of highly intelligent foxes living in the Portland, OR area.
Alternate!: another old project that I still like to come back to and work on for animation/character design reasons! Unlike F.E. this one was purely art-based. It revolved around a young woman living in a desert and a dystopian society that heavily impacts her life.
City on Stilts: current-ish project! This was one I had worked on a few years back but that I have just revived. It's mostly written as it is a planned novel (I can post some scenes if anyone is interested), though I have plenty of art to show for it. You can find art about it in the most recent posts.
