Oooooh, you should totally make Anya set ground rules for him that he has to follow if he wants to stay. xD
Aye aye, Captain! *salutes* xD Morgan grinned and let out a whoop, earning him a glare from an older Rider as they exited the dinning room. Morgan ignored him. "Sweet! Let's go!" He grabbed Anya's hand and started dragging her along again, only this time with an air of eager excitement. He led the way through the maze of halls and exited out a seldom used side door that exited onto a courtyard on the east side of the House. It was large and expansive, with elaborately designed cobblestone beneath their feet and animal-shaped hedges around the perimeter. There was also a fountain in the centre with a roaring dragon as a centerpiece, a waterfall pouring from it's open maw.
As soon as they were outside, Morgan put two fingers to his lips and let out a piercing whistle. It was answered a moment later by a distant roar, and then the flap of mighty wings, at first distant like the roar, that rapidly drew closer. Within minutes, a large golden-scaled dragon landed in the courtyard with a Boom! Morgan jogged up to him with a grin. "Heya, boy! Have a good hunt? Here, I brought a new friend: Anya... Uh, I don't know her last name. But anyway! Kyon, Anya. Anya, meet Kyon."
Kyon dipped his head in greeting and blew a puff of smoke. He was a large beast, roughly equal in size to Stellaluna. But where she was all graceful lines and lithe proportions, Kyon was broader and bulkier, though not without a modicum of regality. His golden scales were matched with lively green-gold eyes, which seemed to smile as his Rider's did.

(Hehe, I was hoping for that. Wouldn't want Seth to just run rampant all over the place. XD
I was thinking about this last night, and I do believe we have created the perfect reason for why Anya was so sheltered growing up and why she's so eager to trust people. I believe, given the large age gap between her and her oldest brothers, the boys would have heard the stories of the twin magicians before, either from towns folk or their own parents (maybe their parents know they were related to them?) When the Parker and Anya were born, the older brothers knew how the town was going to react, so their family vowed to keep them as in the dark as possible for their safety. For their entire lives, people treated them with mistrust and kept their distance, being polite but never carrying out a long conversation with anyone despite her attempts of being friendly. Parents warned their children not to play with them, so there was little friends to be made for themselves. When Corrik hatched, it only got worse. This is also why Corrik doesn't like people because he's grown up seeing how his Rider was treated and felt how it upset her. So he tried to intimidate those who got too close or advice her to stay away from them altogether. Well, only after Anya left to join the House did the brothers tell Parker, knowing that if Anya came to visit, the townspeople might not be as "friendly" as they had been. They didn't tell him before because they knew that he wouldn't be able to keep it from Anya. Now, away from her town, she's trying her best to make others like her, even if that means trusting them at first glance.)
Anya did her best to keep up with his eager pace, finding her muscles still protesting from her earlier training. But she didn't complain, nor speak at all as they navigated through the halls. She had never been this way before, so she took in as much as she could before they exited the building. The courtyard was amazing. While she had explored most of the twisting paths that lead around the building, she had yet to stumble upon this one. Smaller gardens she had found and even had a favorite, but this was much more beautiful and grand. She would have to make a mental note to try and find her way back here. The time to stare in awe was short lived as a golden dragon landed before them. A smile broke onto her face. "It's nice to meet you, Kyon," she greeted. "But I thought dragons weren't allowed this close to the House?"

(Yeah, I could see the entertainment value. XD Maybe he can use it a little.
XD )
"He said she destroyed a building or something of that nature," Anya responded. It had been one of the first conversations they had as they entered Ilirea. Actually, hadn't he mentioned they had been trying to do something? No, they did it because someone had made Seth angry, that was it. At the time, she thought it had been a weak excuse to destroy buildings, but now she assumed he was just hiding the real reason for his actions. Now that she was thinking about it, the young woman recalled a comment that had left her confused. "I really hope you like surprises, because you're about to get a buttload of them." At the time, she didn't know what he had meant. Overwhelmed by the new city and the start of her training, she hadn't given it much thought. Now she could guess what he had meant. If nothing else, she could say those words of his were true. She just wished those surprised hadn't happened all at once.

He can show off his skills for (and with) kids. The whole village will probably love him for it. xD
So! I got another book inquiry: Do you want to put the sword (Zar'roc) into the role-play? When a Rider finishes their training, they get a sword of elven make that won't ever break of rust, and has a blade that is the same colour as the Rider's dragon? Plus a name in the Ancient Language. I feel like, if elves are still around, they would still use the Ancient Language. "Yeah... Plus a bridge... Everyone was pissed at them for that. So much so that they pretty much overlooked the fact that Seth singlehandedly took down the biggest crime boss in the city. Well," he corrected, "Stel helped. And you know what? No one could understand how she managed to take out a damn building, or the bridge, because she was much smaller at the time. However they did it, it caused such an uproar all around. Seth barely escaped a year's worth of community service for that." He grinned. "The city made the crime boss's minions do it instead."

(I can just see him now, surrounded by children. XD Something tells me he's really great with them, even without magic.
I, personally, was hoping we would. It's not a major detail, but it could be one of the Riders' traditions that still used. Like, a lot of things might have changed in how the first Order or Council, or whatever it was called, but the swords with Ancient Language names is something that will continue to be done. Almost like a right-of-passage for those who have stuck through their training.)
"He never mentioned the crime boss," Anya told him. In fact, he had made his reasoning for the destruction much more worse than it was. "He told me someone made him made, so he destroyed those things to make them pay." So had he lied to her after all? Stel had said he hadn't, that everything he said had been true. But why would he feel the need to not inform her of the real reason to something like that? Had he admitted what really happened, she would have thought the action honorable, if not a little impulsive and poorly thought out.

He is super good with kids, but when they're not around, he likes to claim he doesn't like kids. Cause he just has to be contradictory that way. xD
Sweet. I totally agree. We doin' this! ;D Now I just need to find a cool name for Seth's sword, cause it would be cool AF, being all silver and moonstone-like. C; "Oh, hell yes, he was mad," Morgan replied empathetically. "The whole thing was an act of revenge more than anything, with a bit of everyone-thinks-I-can't-so-I'm-gonna-prove-them-wrong thrown in for good measure. One of the crime boss's minions hurt Cami. No way was Seth going to leave it alone, even after kicking the guy's ass. Cami wasn't the first person to get hurt by the crime boss's activities, but Seth made sure she was the last."

(Lol, thanks. When I find it, I'll give you the link so you can search for a good name.)
Thankful for the change of topic, Anya considered the options. "If you're sure he wouldn't mind carrying me to the Dragon Stables, we can meet Corrik there," she told him. "I'll warn you, he's a grumpy type and doesn't take kindly to strangers, but he's all hot air. Still, I've made him mad enough these past few days, and I don't want to risk getting on his bad side further by riding another dragon for too long a flight, especially since he hasn't meet you himself. If that makes any sense."

Once Anya and Morgan were settled, Kyon spread his wings and shoved powerfully off the ground, his wings slapping down as he did, and was quickly in the air. He didn't fly high, since they weren't going far, and therefore was only a few feet above the House's roof when he flew over it toward the back of the property, and the dragon stables. He circled the stables once, then tucked his wings and dove down for a fast but smooth landing.
As he settled on his belly to get Anya as close to the ground for her dismounting as possible, Morgan looked around at all the dragons he could see. Since he recognized all of them, he knew none were Anya's. "How old is your dragon?" he asked, curious. Age was also a good indicator of size; the older the dragon, the bigger it was. He figured hers was still quite young, and therefore small, but he didn't want to assume.

Anya nodded in understanding. "Well, picky is one way to described him," she said as her dragon reached them. There was the all too familiar gleam or wariness directed at Morgan, followed by a look at Anya that clearly read, "Again?" It was no secret to her that the dragon saw this man as another potential Seth. To be honest, Anya had a worm of doubt in her mind about Morgan. Yet she couldn't bring herself to dismiss him after he had shown her kindness from the very start. She ignored his look and stated, "Morgan, Kyon, this ray of sunshine is Corrik."
(Okay!)

(In the books, dragons can talk to whoever they want, so I see no reason why they couldn't talk to each other. I would assume it'd be just as easy, if not easier, for them to talk to each other than it is for them to talk with their Riders due to their magical nature. However, if you want, we can say that this is a learned skill and not one they are born knowing. Picture a child learning to talk if you will. Corrik might have learned how to enter Anya's mind and speak with her, but he's never interacted with another dragon, so he doesn't know how to speak to them. Other's might be able to talk to him and he hear them, but he won't have the ability to respond. Does that work/make sense?)
Corrik studied the newcomers for a moment before turning his attention to Anya. Have you not learned your lesson? he asked.
It took all her will to not deflate by his words. She knew of the lesson to be learned, but there was nothing she could do. The woman was tired of having no one to talk to. If Morgan turned out to be a horrible person, fine. Right now, however, she was going to enjoy the pleasant company he was offering. Corrik must have sensed her thoughts, for he exhaled loudly and lowered his head to her, some of the tension easing from his stance. Not a spoken apology, but one she knew he never made lightly. She rested a hand on his nose. "He takes a bit of time, but he's not too bad," she said, smiling slightly. She owed Corrik a lot for his putting up with her. Maybe tomorrow she could find some time to dedicate to making it up to him.
