(Lol, okay!)
The sound of Kyon's voice didn't phase Corrik as it did with Anya. Where she visually winced a little at the unexpectedness of the new mind touching theirs, he had grown accustomed to it. The oldest of the dragons have made many attempts to converse with him, but he had been unable to master how to press his thoughts to theirs. Whenever he tried, he felt a weakening between his connection with is Rider, as if he only had the ability to share thoughts with one being at a time. So he hadn't tried to converse with others until he knew more about how. Kyon's words, however, did seem to put the smaller dragon at ease to some degree. Anya took that as her cue.
"Thank you, both of you," she said smiling. "Now, where were we flying to? Or are we just flying for the sake of flying?" Either was fine with her. She missed being able to fly wherever and whenever she wanted with Corrik. Well, correction, whenever she had finished the jobs around the farm that is.
(Thanks! Okay, so what sort of ideas were you thinking?)

Morgan shrugged. "Either or. I don't have anywhere specific in mind. How many airborne hours have you clocked since being here? Have you been clocking them? I feel like Alia would be the one teacher who forgot to inform you of the flight clock, seeing as she always forgot to clock in her own as an apprentice. I mean, not that it matters, but I personally loved seeing my hours on dragonback go up day after day. It made me feel very accomplished. Plus, there's a prize at the end for the trainee with the most hours in the air. Only... I think they may have just done that for my group, since it was the first time in a long time the House had multiple new dragon Riders all at the same time. I think there were... five? Of us? Me, Seth, Silas, Arianna, and... Oh yeah! Devon! He was technically a year younger than us, but whatever."
Kyon let out a hiss, and Morgan suddenly realized he'd been talking nonstop for way longer than Anya's question warranted. And about things totally unrelated to her question. "Uh... sorry about that. I think out loud more often than in my head."

(Eh, no the best reply, but a reply nonetheless.)
The startled glances didn't go unnoticed, as brief as they might have been. Anya had grown up around shifting looks and quickly covered expression, but, like always, she chose not to comment on them. Instead, she pulled herself into the saddle on her dragon's back and strapped her legs in. "And which one of those would you be?" she shot back playfully. "Age? Or Beauty?"
(I tend to do FxM, although I would be up for a platonic FxF if I had a good female character to fit there. Do I have a good character? Actually, I think I might have one who has a bit opposite personality than your character that might be interesting. So it's up to you. If you want a romance later on, we can bring in more characters to build the plot. I think our characters should be friends, the idea of queen and her bodyguard appeals to me the most. Or even just a friend who's hung around the castle so much, nobody questions their presence anymore. XD)

Works for me. ^^
I'm thinking Morgan, at some point, is going to say or do something about this flight of theirs in front of Seth to make him jealous. On purpose, of course. ;D Maybe I will have him "crash" Callum's party just so Seth can see two guys hanging out and talking to Anya while he's Public Enemy #1. xD Morgan grinned. "Me? Definitely age. A, because I'm older than you, and b, because anybody who looked at us would agree with me: you are a beauty. No question about it." Kyon snorted a plume of smoke and spread his wings. Morgan patted his shoulder. "Quiet, you. Pretty as you are, you can't comete with the lovely Anya. Sorry about your luck, dude."

(Jealous Seth is a good Seth. xD And he knows he can't get angry otherwise Anya will just drain it from him and possibly cause a bigger scene than needed.)
Anya laughed to try and cover up the blush that rose to her cheeks. She wasn't one to take compliments well, and, while she had kind of set herself up for such a response, she didn't really know how to respond in turn. Luckily, her impatient dragon solved the problem for her. Corrik rolled his eyes, or the equivalent of a dragon's abilities of rolling their eyes could be. The black dragon opened his wings and stepped a couple of spaces back, clearly wanting to be in the air then suffer through such conversation.
(You know what, it's been a long time since I've done anything with a solid friendship in it. Let's go with platonic friends! I think it'll be fun. As for drama, war or the prospects of war is always a good option. Maybe some civil unrest or rebels of some kind? Raiders along the coastal property that's threatening to come further inland if it isn't stopped.)

Eeeeexactly. xD Morgan grinned. "Clearly, your beast is ready to go. Or are you jealous of Anya's good looks too? Dragons can't always win beauty contests, you know." Kyon let out a grumble of protest; Morgan ignored him. "Well, if you're ready, let's hit the road!" He paused. "Er, sky. Whatev -"
Before he could finish speaking, Kyon suddenly spread his wings and crouched low, then launched himself skyward. Morgan barely managed to stay in the saddle as the large golden dragon quickly gained height. Once he was at a good cruising altitude, he levelled out, and Morgan set to the task of berating his jerk of a dragon (his words) for almost leaving him behind.

(Pirates it is! i'll try to get my character up sometime tomorrow.)
(XD And it's not even that she's overly pretty or that they're trying to woo her. It's just Seth sees her as his ray of sunshine and no one else's. XD Finders keepers if you will.)
Corrik gave a low grumble as the boy kept talking. Chatty one, this human, and he wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing. So far, it clearly annoyed him, but that was all. Kyon, however, he could see accepting. Truth be told, there were a handful of older dragons he had deemed "safe" in his time with them. Those were the ones he spent listening to the most whenever his Rider was away. Following the golden dragon, he leaped into the air after him.

(I like that plan. Should we pick up when they get back to the House?
XD That's the highlight of my day. Of course, they've only known each other for four days! That makes this all so much more entertaining. They're so invested in each other, and they haven't even spent a lot of time together. I know Anya has no excuse for this, but what's Seth's? XD He's really slipping on his whole not letting people close to him act. XD I love these two.)
Thayer Hawkthorne Thayer, the older of the two twins, has her father's looks and her mother's spirit. At the age of twenty-two, she stands at a solid 5'8". Long brown hair flows down her back, stopping at her hips and she usually kept two small braids in her hair. Unless she and her sister were trying to trade places. Her face held sharp features and high cheek bones with bright green eyes filled with mischief. There was little sign of unwanted chub from her childhood years, shedding the weight and growing into a lithe and athletic young women. It didn't happen overnight, of course, because the family cook always made amazing meals and would always offer her something to eat whenever she was spotted. No, her built frame came from hours and days of training. She wasn't the most intimidating figure, but she was a force to be reckoned with. Be prepared when dealing with the woman to be faced with the blunt truth. Thayer is not one to play word games. If there is truth to be spoken, then she will say it. Raised within the Court, she knows when to hold her tongue, and which company to say what to and whom to keep silent. Most of the time at least. She's an actor if the situation needs, playing courteous and polite if that's what it takes, but that is often not how one will find her on a normal day. She i a good-natured person, but will always be quick to make a joke at the expense of someone else. All with no ill-intent, of course. Thayer is never one to throw insults at anyone unless well deserved. Sharp witted and armed with her bluntness, she will call things as she sees them. The woman is also very prone to moments of half-thought out plans of fancy. More so during her teenage years, but even now the woman will have an idea she thinks is too good or amusing or important to dismiss. Thus, without informing anyone or thinking it through all the way, she'll dive headfirst into such plans. This is usually followed by her sister or parents bailing her out of trouble. Because of her father's rise within the Queen's court, she was raised on how to behave within certain company. Thayer knows how to conduct formal business and entertain important visitors, however, the problem was, she didn't want to be part of the court. This led to rebellious behavior. The life of a noble in the city was stifling and constricting, and the responsibilities that she had to take care of were always boring and tedious. Or at least they were in her mind. So the girl spent as much time as she could out hunting with one of her uncles or with the Bird masters of the estate. She was always fascinated with the birds and learned everything the caretakers told her of the hawks and falcons used for hunting. She had grown so close to the old master that, on her eighteenth birthday, she was gifted with a young hawk to train and use as she wanted. The only thing keeping her from flat out refusing to carry on any formal duties is the fact that her parents thought the experience would do them some good, even if they don't take on a role in the court themselves in the future. Yet it didn't stop the trouble she would get into. When her parents decided enough was enough, they brought to her the offer of training as part of the Royal Guard. Thayer had eagerly accepted and dedicated her time to the training. She began at the age of sixteen. By the age of twenty, she finished her training and, by the power of a friendship long kindled and strengthened over years, gained the privilege of becoming the guard for the Queen herself.
