"Look into the natural heart, Following the beat of the chemical This isn’t human anymore... Tearing the connections apart Crawling at the feet of our pedestals... Are you still human at the core? "
PLOT:
In the distant (or not-so-distant) future, the world is divided. The Humans, who prefer to keep their flesh and natural parts, and the Digitals, former humans who decided to improve themselves with a wide array of cybernetic enhancements. Unfortunately, only a few years after cybernetic augmentation become a global practice, the Humans decided they were better. The world practically tore itself apart, causing Digitals to be treated like a lesser species. It only got worse from there, as Humans denied the Digitals access to their cities, their services, and soon after, their rights. The Digitals eventually were forced to live in "Cybercamps"; low-class cities filled with cybernetically enhanced people and surrounded by high walls. Human guards make sure the Digitals stay in line, many are denied basic needs, and many more are killed by guards in claimed "self defense." You are in "Crimson-9B", a Cybercamp located somewhere in America, either forced to live there as a civilian or a Human guard making sure the others don't revolt. But hopefully you have a soft spot for the mistreated.
FACTIONS:
Civilian: The civilians are Digitals who live in the Cybercamp. Many of them are treated poorly, and live in terrible homes. They are beaten by guards most of the time, when they aren't being forced to work.
The Havoc Response Team [HRT]:
The Havoc Response Team is the authority in Crimson-9B. They make sure Digitals don't do anything stupid, and punish them if they do, either by throwing them in prison, placing them under house arrest, or just simply beating them until their faces are bruised and their prosthetics are sparking. Only humans can be a member of the HRT. Some members even have powerful mechanical suits for riot control.
The Order of the Sparks:
The Order of the Sparks are a group of Digitals who worship electronics. They believe Humans are a plague on this world, and that they should all either be destroyed or forcefully "upgraded". Though they do not directly attack humans, they have special agents that sabotage HRT operations and security systems. Their ultimate goal is to make Digitals the only species on Earth.
RULES:
1. Do not be overpowered. So no things like "permanent everything shielding" or stuff like that. 2. Be respectful to others. 3. Do not kill other characters without permission from who RPs them. 4. Rules might change without warning. 5. Follow the forum rules.

"Broken bodies line the walls, Midas empires crash and fall, Wings that melt when we try to soar..."
LOCATIONS:
Downtown:
The primary living area of Digitals. Buildings are poorly built and are often very cluttered. Downtown also includes shops, such as food, water, supplies, basic repairs, etc.
Metalworks:
Most Digitals work here. The district is mostly identified by the giant vat of molten steel in the center. Rickety scaffolding surrounds the vat and shacks on the outskirts are filled with Digitals working on the metal and turning it into goods for humans, such as armor plating, aircraft hulls, and other products.
Boss: Antonov Ironhand
The Airfield:
The Airfield is where Humans and Digitals are brought in or out of the Cybercamp via large hovercraft (not the water ones, the futuristic airborne ones). The Airfield is heavily guarded and is located higher above than the rest of the districts, near the wall.
The HRT District:
This is where officers of the HRT live. It is absolute luxury compared to downtown, with tall buildings with actual furniture/food/water, and it is where the prison area is located. No Digitals are allowed, so be careful if you feel adventurous!
Captain: Captain Masen
The Cathedrals of the CPU:
Accessed via manhole covers in Downtown, The Cathedrals of the Sparks is where the Order of the Sparks conducts their worship. The narrow hallways are filled with strange machines and devices, and it only gets weirder as you travel deeper to the main chamber, where the "Great Uplink" is used by the holiest members.
Leader: Patriarch Dynamo

"Pushing the reflex, Pressure the defects, Breaking down is inevitable. Spraining the rivets, Straining the limits, Breaking down is inevitable."
CURRENCY:
The currency in Cybercamps is in a form known as a "Fundcard", a small plastic card that can be "charged" with a number of credits. To gain more credits, you can sell items that you have acquired to certain merchants and they can charge your card. (More info on this may be given later)
ITEMS:
Repair Kit:
These small black boxes are commonly used to perform small scale repairs on damaged non-vital cybernetics, such as prosthetics and external implants. The cover on the front flips open, and contain small tools such as small screwdrivers, a welder, a soldering iron, and others to fix up Digitals. Unfortunately, the batteries cannot be charged, so once the iron and welder are out of juice, you need to get a new one.
Gate-Crasher:
Gate-Crashers are an illegal device that is commonly only found at black market merchants. They can be used to hack any electronic device, good for a one time use before it fries itself. They are very rare and if you are lucky enough to get your hands on one, you should keep it somewhere safe.
Shock Baton:
Shock Batons are wielded by HRT officers, used so beat Digitals into submission. They're crafted from steel, and with copper wire wrapped around the end connected to a battery inside the weapon, they hold a shocking surprise for any Digital that steps out of line.

(Might as well start. More people might join if they see people actually roleplaying) (Also keep in mind that my roleplaying abilities aren't that great)
Kody opened his eyes, laying on the pile of mattresses he called a bed. The servos of his mechanical arms whirred quietly as he pushed himself up. He stood up and walked out of his home into a downtown marketplace, where Digitals sold food and other goods. He walked up to a vendor who was selling what looked like apples, and handed him a small plastic card. The vendor took the card and slid it into a slot on a machine. A hologram popped up and displayed a number, before ejecting the card. The vendor handed him his card and an apple. Kody nodded his thanks and walked off, talking a bite of the fruit.

Saru glanced down at the people on the streets below, sitting in a window frame that was open. Her odd red and blue eyes scanned over the people, taking in their faces and movements as she drew them into her sketchbook. Her heart's steady tick calmed her and she smiled as she drew the entire scene in as much detail as she could muster. It was time consuming and difficult considering they were all moving but she picked those she liked and stuck to them, using her database like brain to recall and recreate on paper.

Kody tossed the apple core to the side, adding to the piles of junk that littered the walkways. He turned a corner only to see another Digital being beaten by an HRT guard. The Digital's arm prosthetic was bent backwards, obviously broken. She had a black eye and was getting hit by a shock baton over and over again. Kody noticed the guard was not wearing a helmet, and after a quick glance to make sure no other officers were around, he quickly moved up to the guard. The guard stopped his assault and turned to face him. "What are you doing here, ruster?" Before he could threaten him, Kody's right arm opened up and a grappling hook shot out and grabbed the guard by his front chest plate. With a swift yank, he sent the guard flying towards him.

(Might as well continue what we were doing.) Kody caught the guard by his neck and threw him against the wall. Before he could finish him off, the guard quickly recovered and kicked him in the abdomen, sending him flying backwards. The guard pulled out his shock baton and started bashing Kody's right arm prosthetic, the shocks quickly disabling many primary systems of the arm. Kody yelled out in pain before being hit across the face. "You should have minded your own business, Digital!" the guard shouted while continuing to hit him.

Saru looked down and continued to draw, the fact any encounter with a guard occurring nearby an ordinary occurrence. She was fully aware of her situation and didn't really feel the need to change it. Sure the humans were pathetic but if she didn't bother them, they didn't really bother her. Her enhancements weren't as noticeable as others and didn't change anything really other than making her brain more like a computer and her eyes have multiple functions.

Kody, quickly realizing he could quickly die here, kicked out hard with his legs. He sent the guard flying into the wall again, causing him to drop the baton. He quickly rolled forward and grabbed it with his functional arm, and started to repeatedly hit the guard in the head with it until he lost consciousness. He stood back up, clutching the baton in his left hand, with his right arm dangling motionless. He slowly walked up to the female Digital to check on her.

(Yeah fair point....Hold on, maybe I'll try something. ) After making sure the woman got to safety, Kody limped towards another part of downtown to see if the repair shop was open. On the way there, two guards, one in a large metal exoskeleton, were standing guard in front of a pathway to the repair zone. The unarmored guard held her hand out to stop Kody. "Stop right there, ruster." She said in a menacing voice. "No going through this area." Kody looked past her to see a deceased Digital on the ground. "I need to get through, the repair shop is this way." He said, gesturing to his busted arm. "Nice try Digital," Said the armored guard in a mechanical voice. "Find some other shop to fix you up." He shoved Kody back, knocking him to the ground. He slowly got back up and turned around, heading towards the building Saru was in.

Saru drew more, getting closer to her end result. The one thing she liked what the part on one end where a boy was beating up a guard. It served the human right. She looked around, noticing spots she could fill and began to add more people. It was fun and all she did, drawing people as they did their things. She was an observer and quite enjoyed watching others suffer below her for some odd reason.

Kody eventually reached the building, and knocked on the door with his good arm. "Hello? Anybody there?" He knocked again. "I could use some help!" He looked around, making sure no guards were watching him. He started to grow paranoid that the guard he beat would come to and tell the guards his description, so he wanted to get inside fast.

Saru looked down and flipped the page. She wrote down, 'It's open' on the page and folded it into a paper airplane to throw down at the boy. She flipped the page back and went back to her art. She worked quietly and often when she drew she felt like she couldn't utter a single word. Hopefully he got the note and would understand it.

Kody looked up in confusion when a paper airplane nailed him in the head. He picked it up and unfolded it. Reading the message, he shrugged and opened the door. Once he took a single step inside, he froze. His eyes flashed and turned red as he entered hostile mode. Without even thinking to ask, he tore open containers and searched the building for anything he could use to repair himself. (Because hurray for malfunctioning implants)

Saru didn't care about the noise she didn't stay in this building. She had broken in hence the open door but it was great for watching people below. She stayed at the building next to it actually but no one needed to know that. Saru kept drawing and she added some detail to the grass and stalls of the market. It looked like it was just something of the world in black and white.

(I really like your character ^_^) Kody was about to break open another container when his eyes flashed and reverted to their original color. "Uh...oops," was all he managed to say when he saw that he practically tore this floor apart. He quickly grabbed all the repair kits he didn't accidentally destroy and ran out of the building before the owners could call the guards on him. He ran back into his home and set the kits down on a table. He picked one up, flipped it open, and started to repair his damaged prosthetic.

Saru don't give a **** lol]
Saru watched the kid run off as she herself finished. She used her eyes to locate the next ideal location which happened to be where the kid had gone to. She gathered her things and began to head over there, breaking into the building and climbing up to a good location. She knocked on the door of the room with the best window for a view and waited a bit to see if the boy would open the door or force her to use more hostile methods
