I noticed heaps of cats are getting the same prefix of cats in other clans and sometimes within the same clan and I understand that each cats name will be different because of the prefix but I feel like there are names out there not currently in use that were other cats prefixes in the past that could have been used instead
Idk I feel like it could be a little lazy of the erins doig this but that's just my opinion

I know what you mean. What mostly irritates me is the mindless jumbling of prefixes and suffixes that began in the second series ( but was still tolerable). If it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, why use it as a name? Like Lilyheart, or Poppydawn. Not trying to be negative though, as I love most of these names.

It is a little weird having a Leafpool, Leaftail, and Leafpaw alive at the same time. But I am usually able to ignore it.

I feel like it's realistic. Multiple cats are going to want to name their kits the same things sometimes. It kind of reminds me of growing up named "Jessica"
Maybe Leaf- is at the top of warrior cat baby name popularity polls.
