I'm neutral on Leafpool, but I agree, her portrayal in TAS was awesome!

I'm not a big fan of Leafpool. Her mate was a snarky WindClan cat. As Feather leaf said, the three could have been born to a different cat. Plus, Leafpool is just a boring character, and in my opinion, not very well developed.

To be honest, I'd be hard-pressed to find someone who isn't slamming Onestar at this point... I wouldn't be surprised if his Clan turns against him in the next book, like Shadowclan did with Rowanstar...

I actually like how Ivypool is percieved nowadays in the books. And I think her interactions with Fernsong is cute. He was like I thought you'd be the one to protect me instead? Which I thought was funny, but then I remembered how good of a fighter Ivypool was and had second thoughts. There's also a mention of how she and Fern were out on patrol, I can't remember who said it, Cherry probably, but they said that if she could handle DF cats she could handle a bunch of rogues. Ivypool is able to fight two cats at once, and use clever tactics to out maneuver opponents bigger than her, she also has vicious tendencies as shown in BrS when she went for the badger's eyes. So one of the match ups I'm eager to see in this series is her vs Darktail possibly? I feel like Needletail wouldn't even be a warm up, she could easily shred the little brat to pieces. |

I'm hoping Leafpool retires in the 5th or 6th book of TAS.Im tired of her BS. Like the Erins made it seem like shes such an IMPORTANT charecter but she isin't in my opinion. Also, Jay Lion and Holly could've been born to anyone in TC. Why Leafpool ?

Because Jay and Lion were part of the prophecy: There will be three, kin of your kin, who hold the power of the stars in their paws. That prophecy was given to Firestar by Skywatcher, so naturally it's referring to Firestar's kin in ThunderClan. Out of all the cats in ThunderClan, there are only a few who are directly related to Firestar: Squirrelflight (his daughter), Leafpool (his other daughter), Cloudtail (his nephew), and Whitewing (Cloudtail's daughter and Firestar's grand-niece). At the time, Whitewing was still an apprentice. Brightheart and Cloudtail didn't want another kit. Squirrelflight was sorting out her drama with Brambleclaw and Ashfur. So yes, I hate to break it to you, that leaves Leafpool. |

Let's be honest here, Leafpool was being a real bamf so far in this series, she wasn't taking no mess from either Rowanstar or Onestar, and I really hope it stays that way. I prefer this Leafpool over the past Leafpool.
