Types of Background Characters in Warriors?

Characters that are just THERE: Mousewhikser

Characters that won't Die despite impossible odds: Purdy and Briarlight

Super old Senior Cats that should die/retire and let the next generation move in: Brackenfur, Squirrelflight, Cloudtail, and Brightheart.

Born to die: Characters who are only created to be killed shortly after. Duskwater, Juniperkit, Dandelionkit, Slatekit, Mistfeather...

Ferncloud was literally having a bunch of kits just to die. Honestly, every single cat that was not either the main character or had something decently important was literally just there to die so it wouldn't seem like it was all peaceful.

Young characters killed off in-between books for no reason. Icecloud, Foxleap, Hazeltail and Toadstep

Toms that think She-cats owe them something: Ashfur, Bumblestripe, Stormtail, Lionblaze, Tigerheart, and Crowfeather.

That's true. Also, maybe Sootfur, Shrewpaw, Molepaw, Hollyleaf(?) and Honeyfern I mean, I know none of them died inbetween books, but still. they're younger characters who died.

The character who was once a main character but got relegated to the background once the story no longer needed them: Firestar

The character who was a supporting character but got got relegated to the background once the plot no longer needed them: Tawneypelt, Mistystar, Crowfeather, Breezepelt, Heathertail, Ashfur

The character from another clan who died only to come back to life and maybe die again: Heavystep, Smokefoot, Shrewfoot

The character that becomes an elder early for no reason (another blankslate type): Pouncetail

Those characters who literally switch clans all the time: (can't think of any atm)

the background character we want more of but the erins won't give us: Icecloud and Hollytuft

The character/s that no one in the clan cares about. (Usually a single tom or she-cat) Such as:
THORNCLAW. Who ever cares about him or cares to acknowledge his existence besides assigning him to patrols?

Mousefur used to be in this position before she became an elder.

Spiderleg also once held this position.

I think so too, but they are also described differently.

No character has a consistent design.

2Irrelevant4U: Characters that cannot be described once perfectly, they often change genders and often times have large errors associated with them. They are oftentimes only mentioned once or twice and are true background characters. Examples: Heavystep and Gorsetail.
