I feel like it's too late for Brightheart to mentor her own apprentice, but I have an idea. Even though there are no other cats in ThunderClan with conditions like Brightheart, I think it should be mandatory for all cats to learn how to fight with one eye. They could use leaf wraps or something to cover up their eyes, and then spend a training session with Brightheart learning how to defend themselves. That way, if something did happen where a cat lost an eye, they would already have the training needed to help them out.
