Really hard to give her an apprentice when she is half blind, the fact that she had to develop her own unique style of fighting and hunting that will not work well with other cats.

The Erins admitted a long time ago they forgot that Firestar had promised her an apprentice.
Honestly though Jayfeather has been the only one suited for her to mentor. Her fighting style is unique but it only works the best if you are injured or temporarily blinded in a similar situation like she is.
Brightheart is a great cat to teach others her style in case they get hurt as bad as she has been.

She was still promised another apprentice. Just because she's half blind doesn't mean she can't pass on her skills to another potential warrior. Except she does that already without an apprentice. More than once Brightheart has been asked to assist during the training of other apprentices and in the Forgotten Warrior she was specifically asked to teach Cherrypaw and Molepaw her style of fighting.

Once when Brightheart was training Jayfeather, and again when Tigerstar offered to train him. Like how cool would it have been if Jayfeather used it to his advantage, like what Deadfoot did?

I still find it funny how Molewhisker was given another apprentice almost immediately after his last one. XD

Yes, she is an excellent warrior, but her entire hunting and fighting style is revolved around her having only one eye. Same reason why two eye fighting won't work for Brightheart. One eye fighting won't work for others.

I still find it funny how Molewhisker was given another apprentice almost immediately after his last one. XD Well he didn't get to finish training Alderpaw, so I'm not surprised. It seems unfair to him, but a the same time, I think there's other older cats that deserve an apprentice over him.

I wanted a blind warrior...I was hoping for the warrior equivalent of Daredevil. I thought maybe they would do something like it for Jayfeather...but I guess the Erins just aren't that creative.
