By far the manipulative thing going on between Needle"tail" and Violetpaw.
Violetpaw was doing so well readjusting to clan life, and just like that everything is shattered.
I guess what irks me the most is that Violetpaw was so close to staying in one clan with her sister, which was essentially one of the biggest conflicts throughout this entire book. And Needletail decided to sort of guilt Violetpaw into staying with her.
What a little poop!
This whole "kin" trick she's pulling on the poor apprentice is just really sad.
Before I read the book, I thought people were over exaggerating about Needletail being horrible, but after reading it, I can definitely join in.
However, she's very well-written, and I'm loving the whole self-ritcheousness thing she's got going on. She, and the other traitorous Shadowclan apprentices, reminded me of the OG "Shadowclan" cats following under Brokenstar.
I do feel for Rowanstar and his family, though. And I'm torn about Onestar, since I hate his decisions and actions, but I understand where they're coming from.
