Emberbriar smiled softly. He gained some altitude before folding his wings in to go into a dive. As he got closer to the ground, he slowly opened his wings until he was a few feet from the ground. That's when he pulled up and flapped his wings, landing softly beside Sootclaw. "Yeah. I know how that feels. I would ask Quailberry, but he doesn't socialize much, and it's awkward asking an apprentice like Cedarpaw, and kits mostly don't remember." He sighed and flicked his tail as he, too, looked around.

Emberbriar shrugged. "It is kind of awkward asking the other Clans since we're not that close with them. Want to start the border patrol?" He spread his left wing, nibbling at an itch on his flank before folding his wing against himself again.

Emberbriar nodded and started padding along the border, refreshing the scent markers. "I kind of want to see how it is without wings. Maybe I'll have someone tie something around my flank to make me feel like a wingless cat."

Emberbriar shrugged. "It would answer my question and nix my curiosity on the situation. Then, I could tell you how it feels." He glances back at the other tom before refreshing another scent marker.

Emberbriar shrugged. "I'm not sure if I want to do it, though. It seems good, but it could be a bad idea." He finished marking his side of the border and made his way back to the middle.

Emberbriar nodded. "Yeah, that was what I was thinking about that may prove my idea is bad. Besides, think of hunting." He gave a small smile before asking,"Want to fly around or go back to camp?"

Emberbriar nodded and spread his wings, leaping into the air, flapping his wings as he spun around a couple times in his ascent. When Sootclaw joined him, he said,"Well, maybe, but what if I get attacked when I do this plan?"

Emberbriar nodded. "Good point. We still have our uses on the ground, and we have the Clan behind us. Always." He smiled softly before starting to fly off.

Emberbriar nodded. "Of course." He smirked at Sootclaw. "Now, know any fancy tricks while flying?"

Moonpaw padded beside Ashpaw with no difficulty being able to smell rotten wood or bush before she crashed into any of the obstacles. 

Ashpaw spotted a good place. She told Moonpaw, showing her the bush and how it was easy to get in and out from it. It was also a really hidden spot that would be hard for other cats to see them.

Ashpaw laid still and watched the border, ready to get Wingclan.

Moonshine carefully approached the border and looked around, before going to mark a tree.
