Matteo blinked up at him and smiled. "Really? Well, yes, I'll come if you wouldn't mind me doing so," the younger boy replied. He adjusted his cap again and headed over toward his side. "I have yet to see a horse, which is shocking."

"They're really magnificent creatures." Ianuarius's quiet voice became a bit more relaxed and confident as he returned to his comfort zone. He felt less shy when he was talking about something he really knew about, especially since the conversation was no longer so personal. "They're underestimated, sometimes, but the kingdom would suffer greatly without them." He continued walking as he spoke, barely glancing at his companion.

The paper boy began to follow him, staring up at him as he spoke. He nodded slowly before looking forward again. "Wow, really? I didn't know horses were that important to the kingdom!" He replied, then placed a finger to his lips as he thought. "Hm, have you ever rode a horse? If so, if it hard?"

"Yes." The stable boy answered, giving Matteo a quick glance before stopping. They had reached the stable. "It's hard for some people, I suppose. Just like walking is at first, but you get used to it." Then he pushed open the door and walked in, greeted by a strong scent of horses.

"Oh, well that sounds exciting," the paper boy said as he paused outside the stables for a moment. He slowly followed, peeking in before stepping foot into the place. He glanced around, grinning, and headed over to one of the stalls without thinking. "Wow, they're huge!" He muttered, turnn back to look at him. "Are these for the royals?"

"Some of them." Ianuarius had already began to walk around the stalls, offering silent greetings to their occupants and glancing again at the paper boy, pointing to an older brown stallion with a black mane and tail. "His name is Krios. He's usually used for beginners because he's so gentle. You can pet him if you like." And with that, the stable boy began his daily routine.
(I have to go for awhile, you can have Matteo leave if you want. )

"I don't know..." Eleanor tilted her head, as though she were gazing into the middle distance, though clearly she was not gazing at all. It seemed she would say something profound. Then, "I've been getting too much sleep!" she announced. "It's incredibly weird and suspicious. I don't know what to make of it. I've been having nightmares, too, but I don't remember them much." She said that last part like an afterthought. Then she popped a few slices of the orange into her mouth, chewing thoughtfully. "Nightmares?" Calypso echoed, her voice holding a tinge of surprise. Eleanor was having strange dreams too? The dancer's gaze rested on her fruit for a few seconds as she tried to think of something to say. "You... don't remember anything about them?" Deciding to let curiosity get the better of her, she tried to get a little more info before saying anything more about her own dreams.

Homura had woken up early, right before the rain had started to fall. Only a few servants roamed the hallways, footsteps fading in and out of earshot. They were likely preparing breakfast for the princesses and cleaning the castle so that not a speck of dust was left.
Now, normally, waking up with the sun early was apart of her schedule; She could squeeze in an hour of training alone in the knights' courtyard, then she'd train even more with the knights, and then take her role as a sentry on one of the walls for the evening.
However, she woke up in a cold sweat, her long dark hair almost constricting almost, choking her. When Homura tried to lay back into her bed, her eyes refused to close, and she could not shake off the sensation of doom and heartbreak, dreams too painful to put into words.
The young page dressed in near darkness, the sunrise only a faint, red line on the horizon, but it would be obscured soon. She slipped on her boots, her armor, and tied her hair in twin braids and tucked them under the collar of chain mail and leather that lined her shoulders.
Homura walked the hallways, trying to forget the vividness of her nightmare, passing by walls adorned with paintings and candles and tapestries. She could not deny she felt out of place in such a setting. Finally, after a few minutes, she walked past a wooden door and was greeted with the moist, cold air, a telltale sign of a downpour approaching the kingdom. The knight heard her shoes clink on stone as she made her way down the battlement, helmet under her arm and tightly held. Homura briefly greeted the soldiers on duty on the walls with a silent nod as she walked.
It would rain soon.
..She needed to talk to Madoka.

Hinata ducked under the overhang of a cottage just as the rain got harder, scowling. The last thing I want is to smell like wet dog.
The boy gazed up and down the street, content with people-watching for a minute, leaning against the wall. The sky maintained it dreary grey, and the downpour did not let up, and Hinata had no choice but to run from building to building, block to block. He needed to get to the central marketplace before it got late; That's when it got really crowded, and materials grow pricier by the hour.
Naegi needed these supplies by noon, too. While the baker did take the money out of his own pocket to avoid having Hinata pay for things, he did not want to spend more than necessary. He couldn't believe he trusted him with his own coin to go out there multiple times. What if he never walked in there again? Took that money, spent it on things, blatantly stolen it? He's too nice for his own good, honestly.. But that doesn't mean Hinata himself wasn't trustworthy. He was.
Hinata shook himself out of his thoughts, head snapping up to realize he was almost near the marketplace, stalls dotting the cobblestone streets. He quickly reached a hand into a concealed pocket, reassuring himself the money was still there. His hand retreated just as fast, for some of the coins were silver. While the boy wasn't effected by it's magical properties as a human, Hinata still had a superstitious distrust of it. Old habits die hard, y'know?
Finally, he began smelling exotic materials and animals and hearing the squabble of business and people shouting out offers. Of course, it was still a little ways away, but his senses were dramatically heightened when he became a werewolf. Thankfully, he was.. mostly okay in the village. He had learned how to ignore unpleasant sensations. He's been this way for.. quite a while.
Hinata rubbed the tired out of his eyes, still exhausted from last night. He had been dreaming rather intensely. It was a bunch of nonsense, and, truthfully, he was already forgetting, but one face still stuck in his mind... The werewolf sighed, rounding a corner.

"Whoops! Runaway, coming through! Excuse me, sorry!"
Komaeda swiftly weaved in and out between people, feeling water soaking through his water and to his bones. He... probably should've brought a cloak, but who knew when he was going to get an opportunity like that again...?
His ears twitched as he listened to the conversations and the bustle of people around him, glad for the change in scenery compared to the tidy, lonely castle. Sure, there were maids and knights, but they could only provide so much entertainment for so long.
Glancing back behind him, Komaeda scanning the crowd for any knights or, heaven forbid, Peridot herself. Unfortunately, since he wasn't looking forward, he didn't seem to notice the person who just turned a corner, running into them at full speed.
"A-ah...!" Recoiling, Komaeda stumbled, until his foot slipped on the mud and he was tragically sent tumbling down. Slowly sitting up, he rubbed his head, a dull ache throbbing in the back of his mind. "Sorry..." He apologized softly, looking up to see...
...Oh.
His breath caught in his throat as he looked into the stranger's bright eyes that swore hope and good things, with promises swimming so vibrantly in his green pools for irises. All too familiarly, he found himself enraptured by those eyes, by the color, by the things he could see by just looking at them, and...
...He was staring.
A light blush spread across his face as he realized this, quickly scrambling to his feet and clearing his throat to cover up his unashamedly gay moment he had just now. "...I wasn't looking where I was going. Sorry," he sheepishly apologized, wiping what mud he could off. He meets a cute boy for the first time in a while, and he... And he's a total mess...
...What bad luck.
Forlornly sighing, Komaeda supposed that the rain would was some of the dirt off before Riliane found out. He met the stranger's eyes again.
So pretty. And all too familiar.
Nervously swallowing, he tried not to stare this time around. His hair was plastered to his face through the water that soaked him through, though he didn't seem too bothered by this. "Anyways, uh... If you see a lady with a headdress looking for someone called 'Komaeda' could you tell her they went, ah... Maybe..." Turning, he gazed thoughtfully at the crowd behind him. "...They went to buy a cloak over there, and then walked off to find something to eat over there." He pointed at a nearby stand, then to the direction opposite of where he was currently heading.
"Okay, thanks! I have to leave before someone finds me. Bye!" Giving the stranger a cheerful wave, Komaeda took off towards the bakery again, quietly hoping that wasn't their last encounter...
"Ah, yeah. Noctin's a regular," Naegi informed her, offering a small smile. His gaze lit up when she complimented his baking skills, making him rub the back of his head in embarrassment. "Oh, no, it's nothing, really...! I'm pretty average at baking. Thank you for saying so, though. Come again sometime!" He waved to Chamomile as she left, his hand absentmindedly wiping the counter off.

"Yeah, nightmares." Eleanor put her hands on her hips. "And I remember some things. Like in one of them I was eating a lot of candy!" She gave a wide grin. "That wasn't a nightmare." Obviously. "In some of them, I think I'm going to die..." She drifted off into thought, her grin having disappeared.
