About what he said to Alderpaw about Twigkit.
It isn't a medicine cat apprentices job to take care of kits. Alderpaw feels guilty about not trying to do more to have kept the sisters together, which is understandable. But he isn't the only one responsible for her...that's the Queens job.
Alderpaw is supposed to be learning the uses of herbs and how to treat patients that are sick or injured. He can't afford to spend the majority of his time playing or watching Twigkit.
There is also the matter of the prophecy. As far as Jayfeather's concerned, Twigkit may or may not be apart of the prophecy, but whether she is or isn't the terms of the prophecy haven't come into effect yet, and no one knows when they will or what this will mean for the Clans. Given that this was a prophecy revealed to everyone in the Clans, this is a pretty big deal and whatever lies ahead it would be better if Alderpaw faced whatever was coming a fully trained cat than a half trained medicine cat.
Jayfeather never said that Twigkit didn't matter. He said Alderpaw needed to stop worrying about her so much and to concentrate on finishing his training. Twigkit is a distraction, not just to Alderpaw but to Jayfeather also. If he's tripping over her or she's getting into the herbs that's causing some problems for them.
I doubt Jayfeather was upset that Alderpaw spends time with Twigpaw but how much time he spends with her. At the beginning of TAS Alderpaw says he has to bring her with him to help in the Medicine cat den...when has it ever been the medicine cat apprentices job to watch over kits who aren't sick or injured?
I don't think Jayfeather was wrong to scold Aderpaw or that he doesn't care at all for Twigkit. On some level I feel like Alderpaw is overprotective of Twigkit, with good reason but Alderpaw shouldn't feel like he's the only one responsible for taking care of Twigkit nor should he be the only one looking after her.

That is why I insist all Medicine cats should be forced to lose their identity and be rid of all emotion and personalities. All those stuff in a medicine cat is asking for trouble

That is why I insist all Medicine cats should be forced to lose their identity and be rid of all emotion and personalities. All those stuff in a medicine cat is asking for trouble I don't think it has to go that far, I think they just need to learn how to remain neutral and do their job. Like Cinderpelt, Brambleberry, Mudfur, and Featherwhisker.
