I do not like Firestar as much, at first he was awesome but as he became leader he was no longer the cat he used to be. It was fine for a while when not everything was about him- oh wait, everything related to him in some way. It really bothered me when he was the fourth- they couldn't have made it somebody else? he has had way too much spotlight in my opinion.

I've always liked Firestar. He was a great cat, who I will miss a whole lot. But it sadly was his time to die.

i think firestar's okay; he was a cool character at first but then he developed into a really flat character

Long time no see, BC! It's been a while! I have no clue if we ever interacted way back then, but I certainly remember you!

And I love Firestar, he's great.

I like him, but I get/understand why some hate him. I have gotten a bit tired of his extended family always saving the day, but he himself was pretty cool.

Firestar is cool as far as main characters go. A good character, but nothing too special.

Firestar in the first arc: good, cool, awesome development, but could have always been better.

Any arc after that : What Happened To You My Sweet Summer Child

His characterization got destroyed. It would have been nice to see him struggle with leadership, and his role as a leader in comparison to his Clanmates, maybe feeling as though he were less of a leader and more of a close friend to everyone. There's a lot more that he could have struggled with further - worrying that the other Clans would think him soft for accepting so many non-Clanners (perhaps to a point where he like, closes off his Clan to show that he isn't the cat people assume him to be???), or feeling as though he wasn't the right choice (perhaps he has regrets about taking his role and not doing well enough, or as well as Bluestar, etc).

The Erins just kinda flattened him tho.

I like Firestar, but more when he was a warrior. I don't hate characters just because they're "too good". I'd rather have a character be too good than a character that's too bad.

Firestar is one of my top favorite characters! I think it was just how great I connected to him when begging the books. I was very sad at his death, overall he seemed to be a perfect fit for the heroic leader to rise up in the end.
