First of all, I just noticed that I really don't like any of these characters. Violetpaw and Twigpaw are just rubbing me the wrong way. I'm neutral on Alderheart, though his anxiety felt a bit overexaggerated at times. I can't stand any Needletail still.
Was it ever mentioned why Twigpaw didn't become a medicine cat? I don't think it was explained, though I assume it's because ThunderClan already has way too many medicine cats.

If you payed better attention, you would have noticed that Alderheart told Twigkit she doesn't have to be a medicine cat to be special like he did. Then they do the skip of about three moons to the point where she's an apprentice.

I agree with you about Violetpaw and Twigpaw. For whatever reason, I find their PoVs much less enjoyable than Alderheart's. To me, they just seem a bit... off, almost.

I believe that she wanted to be a medicine cat before she had this miniature obsession with being special. I'm probably misremembering, I have a horrible memory and when I read I oftentimes skip around on accident. |

Anyways, I think if there weren't so many Medicine Cats in ThunderClan already, the Erins would have made Twigpaw a Medicine Cat.
