Welcome to the 25th Hunger Games - May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor  -- Hello everyone and welcome to the first Quarter Quell. This role-play will be a small group of only about eight people at the most to role-play a completely fan-created version of the 25th Hunger Games. Because there isn't much about the 25th games that is necessarily canon, this will mostly be of my own creation. More information for the amount of people and characters can be found in the rules - as well as expectations for posts. Since this is a Hunger Games role-play, please be aware that not everyone's characters are going to make it to the end. Characters are going to die, and not everyone can win. The winner of the games will be decided by an online random name picker (that I will use myself) and expressed to everyone before we begin. All the other reaped kids will be made victims throughout once the game begins. We can either discuss pre-role-play how these characters will die and when, or it can come naturally within the story. The future victor of the games is not invincible to injury, they just won't die. I'm excited to do this and welcome!  The Quarter Quell -- The anthem plays, the well-known sigil that represents the Capital flashes on the screen, there's a high-pitched voice blaring over the music. Lucky Flickerman, an older gentleman with a strangely wide smile and unnatural green hair, appears on the screen - the high pitched voice is his. He has a silly looking microphone held up to his face and President Snow - young, handsome, fit - is sitting next to him on the stage. President Snow flashes the crowd with a smile that sends them into a flurry and Lucky holds his hands up to settle them down, his wide lips open in a laugh.
"Settle down! Set. Tle. Down!" Lucky says over the microphone, laughing again. The sound is unnatural. The crowd slowly follows his direction, their voices quieting until finally, it's silent on the television. Lucky grins and turns back to President Snow. "So, a special announcement? From the President himself? This has got to be good!"
Lucky leans forward, almost falling out of his chair, but his balance must be incredible. President Snow nods his head with subdued enthusiasm, his eyes sparkling in the artificial light. He glances out towards the crowd and then leans forward, lowering his voice - though it rang out from the microphone clear as could be.
"We have a special anniversary coming up," he whispers. Lucky bolts upright, his eyes widening and he turns to the crowd to accept their laughter at his phony reaction.
"Is that so? Please, President, enlighten the viewers!" Lucky insists. It's almost unbearable, the squeak of his voice.
"This year marks twenty-five years since the rebellion ended." President Snow says, his tone now back to normal, but his eyebrows are arched slightly now. Lucky is out of his seat.
"Is that so?" he exclaims. "I can't believe it! Color me...green, I'm sick with joy." He says, pointing to his hair with a small cackle. He finds himself very funny. The audience ripples with laughter - clearly they agree with him.
President Snow stands now and makes his way behind the chairs. A small man with dark hair and eyes that never leave the floor roll a podium out and Snow situates himself behind it. He leans down and whispers to the small man - who proceeds to dart off the stage and returns shortly after with a small box. President Snow takes it and places it on top of the podium, where the cameras and audience can see clearly. He flashes another winning grin. Someone shouts from the crowd in lust. Lucky leans against the back of his chair, staring at the President with barely contained glee. He is playing it up for the crowd, they're loving it.
"To mark this anniversary, we have decided to do something special for this year's Hunger Games. In fact, we have decided to make a permanent change to the games. From now on, every twenty-five years, we will hold a special game called the Quarter Quell. This Quell will be notably different from other Games in special ways. My advisors and I have already written up ideas for Quarter Quells for a few centuries," he winks at the camera. The crowd swoons. "For our very first Quarter Quell - I wanted to pull the card with all of you."
President Snow makes a big show of opening the box in front of him to reveal small cards of paper that are situated in a rolling wheel. He spins the wheel a few times, raising an eyebrow at the crowd for the suspense, before letting it come to a complete stop. He looks at the wheel and reaches for the card that is directly in front of him. Snow flattens the paper on the podium and raises it high, facing him, as he reads it off.
"Each district will vote for the two participants that will be reaped!" he announces. There's silence. The audience isn't sure how to react to this news. Is that good? Lucky notices their hesitation and jumps in with a small glance to President Snow.
"Imagine the chaos this will cause," he laughs a fake laugh. "I hope no one has made any enemies lately."
The audience takes this as a cue. They begin to laugh. President Snow grins and Lucky continues his cackle. The screen plays the anthem and shows the sigil again - then it goes black. You're staring at a blank wall now. You wonder who will be chosen and you only hope...it isn't you. Rules / Expectations - Please be kind and respectful to each other. We are here to have fun, any negative, abusive, or bullying behavior will not be tolerated. We are an inclusive RP as well. All are welcome - LGBTQ+ included.
- Please ONLY join if you have read the Hunger Games book series or at the very least watched the movies.
- You are only allowed to have three main characters. Side characters such as family/friends back home or mentors - they are not included in that limit. You are limited to THREE reaped participants.
- Do not be upset or argue if your character is not going to be the winner. A random name picker online is going to be used to determine the victor, and it will not be changed or contested. Do not try to avoid your character's death when it comes if you are not the victor. Only the Victor can survive the games. One person comes out alive. Everyone else's characters will die at some point.
- Literacy is very important to me for this RP. Since this is going to be a smaller group - my expectations for literacy and post size are a little stricter. Little to no grammar mistakes and posts that are longer than one paragraph are a minimum requirement. It may seem a little much, but since there are only going to be a few of us - I do want it to be more like story-telling vibes. So, think of it as us writing a book together. I'd like for us to all be on similar (not identical) levels of literacy.
- Do not make all your characters incredibly strong and talented. Keep them accurate to your district and their age! Keep their skills consistent to what they would know how to do from their district. For example, don't have a District 12 kid who knows everything about the ocean.
- No mary-sue/god-modding. I know those are some throwback terms (lol) but I wanted to make that clear here too.
- Romance is allowed - but again, it will not last because these characters are made to die.
- This is going to be considered an 18+ role-play because it will contain gore, mentions of blood, and lots of death. Please be aware of this rule when you join. If you cannot handle these types of themes - do not join. We won't be toning anything down.

- We are only accepting up to 8 members. The RP could close before we reach 8 members, depending on if all the District kids get taken before we reach that point.
- If you cannot follow all of these rules as they are expected, I am entitled the remove you from the RP and open it up for a new member. I also am entitled to deny anyone if they do not follow the rules upon joining.

Districts - Specialties -- Here is a comprehensive list of all the Districts. Including information about their trade, skills, and what the reaped kids might be experts in. District 1:
A career District. They are known for their jewels and gemstones. The kids of District 1 are usually trained throughout their lives for the Games and are major forces in the arena. They are a favorite of the Capital and are very wealthy. These participants are most known for brute strength and violence.
District 2:
Another career district. They are known for stones and artifacts - they are also the center of the military force for the Capital. Peacekeepers are often sent here for training. They are another favorite of the Capital. These participants are also known for brute strength and violence.
District 3:
This district is known for electronics, firearms, and mechanical products. It is a considerable distance from the Capital, so it is not a favorite and is not considered a career district. The participants of this district are especially skilled in technology and mechanics - but they are typically not very large or strong.
District 4:
This is considered a Career District. It is one of the wealthiest districts and specializes in fishing. It is another Capital favorite. The participants in this District work well with water, tridents and spears. They can range from small and lithe to large and bulky. They do not hold as many victories as Districts 1 & 2, but they are close behind.
District 5:
This district is a very wealthy district - but they are not a Career District. District 5 provides electricity for the entire nation, so they stay in the Capital's good graces for that reason. They are located very close to the Capital to ensure constant power being sent uninterrupted to the Capital. The participants from this District are usually quite clever and sneaky.
District 6:
This district is the most populate District and are known for their expertise in transportation. They are the creators of the hover craft and high-speed trains. This District is located underneath where Lake Michigan sits in real life. The participants there don't have any well-known skills - but they may excel at traveling underground or finding shortcuts and evading pursuers quickly.
District 7:
District 7 is the Lumber district. The children in this District begin working at very young ages, so they are usually very proficient with axes and other tree-cutting weapons in the Games.
District 8:
District 8 is where textiles and clothing are made - including Peacekeeper uniforms. This is a largely urban and industrial District. The participants from this District don't have many known skills - but they may be good at altering their outfits for different temperatures in the arena to survive.
District 9:
District 9 is the District that specializes in grain and farming. The District is covered in plains and farmland, which makes their industry very obvious. The participants from his District may be good at identifying edible plants from inedible plants.
District 10:
District 10 is known for their livestock - they send meat to the Capital for consumption. There isn't much known about the District or the skills of its participants - but it is likely those reaped from District 10 may be proficient in knots and ropework.
District 11:
District 11 is the agriculture district. This District is a very poor, unkempt District and is under strict and oppressive regime. The participants of this District can range from large and bulky - brute strength and down to small and lithe - sneaky. The larger tributes are excellent with hand-to-hand combat while the smaller tributes are proficient in hiding and evasion.
District 12:
This is the coal district. This is another very poor District that doesn't get a lot of attention from the Capital. District 12 has never had a Victor - so says the Games themselves - though there are whispers of a ghost Victor. The tributes of this District are known for their small, malnourished statures and weakness.
The Arena -- The arena for the Quarter Quell is a special, never seen anything like it before, built from the ground up arena. It was specially crafted just for the Quarter Quell. It is a maze. The maze is huge, spanning hundreds of miles with dead ends and crossed paths. There are bridges, fresh water fountains, and even a river that runs through it. The tributes are expected to navigate and survive in the maze until one Victor is obvious. Near the end of the games - when there are only a few tributes left - the Capital will release special muttations into the maze that will hunt the tributes. Plot - Events -- The RP will begin the morning of the Reaping. We will follow the Tributes through the morning, the Reaping, the good-byes, and then on to the Capital. At the Capital, we will continue on through training and then the interviews. Finally, we will get to the games! The Winner After everyone joins, I will come here and post who the winner will be according to the name picker! |

The Tributes District 1
Male:Phoenix Clemonte - 18 - District 1 - πβππ π£π
Phoenix Clemonte is from a very wealthy family in the capitol. He's trained for the Hunger Games his entire life, even if his family always reassured him he would never get picked. That their family was too important, that it would never really happen to him, and from the age of 12-17, they were right. Then on his final year of being eligible, he was chosen. It's alright though, Phoenix is ready. He knows he can win this, and he's going to prove it. He's a handsome young man, even if a bit short for a guy, as he only stands at 5'7", with dark brown skin and curly blond hair that pair well with his dark amber, narrow eyes. He's also very charming, if a bit arrogant, though that arrogance isn't misplaced, with a talent for manipulation, skills in strategy, and a thirst for ambition, he's sure to be a threat in the arena, and if he gets his way...a fan favorite.
Female:Alyssa Bentley - 13 - District 1 - polarized
Alyssa, is a sneaky and medium height girl, with sage green eyes and black hair. She was trained from a young age from her distinct skill set, of speed and her confidence with a weapon. She has since specialised in her district when they chose her, and they happily voted her for the reaping. She believes nothing can stop her from getting what she wants. Sheβs quiet, but manipulative. She wants everyone to do what she wants, without playing a part in it. She might not say anything, but a fair warning, sheβs darn good with a bow. She comes from a famous family, with her mother being an old winner of the games, who also used a bow. She wants to make her district proud, and be good enough for her motherβs standards. She has two younger brothers, two crazy little guys, but she would do anything to keep the two of them safe. Her cockiness can be seen as arrogance, and can set her back. Her age also makes her vulnerable, but her district has trained her well, and her bite is stronger than her bark.

Female:
Quartz is a beautiful girl with shiny blonde hair that falls into soft curls, and dazzling light blue eyes. She has fair skin with hardly any blemishes, except for a pair of dimples that appear anytime she smiles. With long legs and gentle curves, she stands at a height of about 5'7", and all of her movements are calculated and elegant. With her charming looks and way with words, Quartz finds that she can get away with just about anything. The girl acts like a typical air head blonde, but she's incredibly clever. She can also be incredibly cruel, masking her antagonistic ways through her glamour. Quartz is quick, overly confident, and has a pretty selfish streak. Growing up in a career district favored by the Capitol definitely had its privileges, especially with her father being a head Peacekeeper. As a young girl, Quartz trained in ballet before starting her combat training. She is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, her quick movements and light footsteps make her a competent opponent for those bigger and stronger than her. Quartz is also proficient with any kind of blade, specifically daggers and spears. She is the oldest of three daughters, and was pretty much spoiled growing up. With her families extensive military background, Quartz is honored to have been voted by her district as their female tribute and hopes to make her friends and family proud by winning the first ever Quarter Quell. The best way to describe Gene is opinionated and asocial. She's not a people person, in fact, she's very introverted and really, really doesn't want to be here. She's grumpy. smart, blunt and a major rights activist. She's never once held her tongue and has no plans of holding it here. She will be heard or killed in the process, quite literally. She's not the first of her family to participate in the games. She had an older sister who was chosen a few years back. She died. Gene has not forgotten and will never forgive. Intelligent to a fault, Gene is an inventor with an innovative mind and a knack for leading, even if she would never admit it. She says she's not here to make friends, but she may find herself looking out for the other tributes, even if she denies it again and again. She's a short and lithe girl, standing at 5'2", with pale skin covered in freckles and a few patches of vitiligo white skin to match the streaks of white in her otherwise, dark brown hair that matches her wide, doe-like brown eyes. She doesn't expect or plan to win, but for as long as she is here, she's going to make them regret picking her.
District 4 Male:
Oliver Porter is a small, 4'10 boy with short, soft-boy styled short dirty blonde hair. He has tan skin, and wide green eyes. He's often seen wearing a patterned vest above his fleeced white shirt, and dark brown pants. He's a shy boy, oftentimes never speaking and often hiding away, but his true self is one intelligent kid. He's pretty great at doing things, like writing and reading. But if there's anything else he likes more than reading, it's fishing in the lakes. He loves fishing, and fishes every day like it's as important as consuming food and water. He was raised by a large family, with siblings ranging to around 7. He has 6 older siblings, and one younger sibling. His family thinks rather highly of him, and often gets embarrassed when his skills are complimented on.
Female:
Cordelia is a small, lithe girl with medium blonde hair that reachers her shoulder-blades and green eyes. She is from District 4 but she isn't really a great fisherman. Cordelia prefers the netting over spearing or the tridents. She is smart and quiet, but will stand up for herself when she needs to. She is the daughter of one of the previous Victors of District 4 - a victor that the district mostly despises because of his bad attitude and the way he spiraled after returning from the games. This is why she is selected as the tribute - out of pure spite for her father. Coredelia doesn't know much aside from the things that are important to her district - saltwater, fish, water plants - but about those things she is could teach anybody. She is an excellent knot-tier and can start a fire if she has the right materials. Cordelia's mother is still alive but she moved out of the Victor's Village five years ago, because she couldn't stand to live with Cordelia's father anymore. He is still a raging alcoholic (he uses it to cope with the trauma) and has been known to put his hands on both his ex-wife and his daughter. Cordelia spends as much time away from home as she can, and at one time she begged to move in with her mother - but the District officials wouldn't allow it. So, instead, Cordelia spends most of her day at school or with her mom and then goes home only at nights. Though she is a clear victim of abuse, it hasn't made her see herself that way. She is quiet and mostly avoids confrontation, but she is a strong willed girl. She has two half-siblings that are her mother's kids - they are twins and are three years old. District 5 Male:
Daniel Mcintyre - 17 - District 5 - Dew Daniel Mcintyre is a tall boy with a rather muscular build. He is dark-skinned with messy brown hair and deep green eyes. Daniel is what some would call a closed-book. He doesn't have many close relationships and doesn't talk to people not in his family outside of his work. He lives with his mother in the center of town, and while it is a possibility that he could move out in the coming months, he doesn't plan on it, instead wanting to support his mother after Daniel's fathers and sisters deaths a few years prior. He is naturally protective but guarded, and doesn't open up to anyone other than his mother. It was suspected he was voted for because he isn't close to anyone, but some do think he has a fighting chance.

Kaori Ren - 17 - District 6 - Sand
Kaori is a lithe, tall woman for her age and most notably, the district sheβs from. She has short, dark black hair thatβs cut into a sleek bob that stops beneath her chin. They are paired with thick black bangs which frame her face. Her nose is small like a button though it flares downwards. Her complexion is pale, with her lips being thin and small. They are a pale shade of bronze which contrasts the tone of her skin. She has deep, dark brown eyes. Kaori is known for being a bold woman. Sheβs the type to speak her mind whether itβs the right time or not. This can lead to her ending up in easily avoidable conflicts yet she powers through it. She is sarcastic, usually opting for more of a deadpan approach than a serious one. Kaori is impatient and impulsive, making her a decent target in any arena. One wrong move from her impulsivity could lead her to an injury or worseβ death. As she is from District 6, her familyβs background is in transportation. She doesnβt have any notable skills other than navigating the train tracks which she learned when she became an employee of the transportation system in her district. She is quick on her feet due to her long, striking limbs. Kaori is runner which is something she took up in school. Kaoriβs parents had her when they were younger. Her father is an operator of a high-speed train. She has two younger siblings that are twins (toddler aged) who her mother cares for. Her grandmother lives with their family as well, so itβs a pretty packed household. Although Kaori still lives at home, sheβs wanted to move out for a few years now and create new roots in District 6. Maybe with a chance at the Hunger Games she can do just that and more. |

The Tributes District 7
Male:Mason Kent - 15 - District 7 - polarized
Mason is a big guy, but heβs soft at the heart. Heβs like a massive teddy bear, but if that same teddy bear could wield an axe. Being raised in District 7, he has been working with an axe since he was very young. Heβs massive for his age, and muscular, but he has never needed to resort to violence. He is always there to give someone a big bear hug, too. He has long, brown hair, and a small childish beard. He was never popular in his district, until his older sister told his strength to some of her friends when he had pushed down a full tree when he was just 13, and before he knew it, he was being remembered by the full district. He was voted at the reaping, to represent his district, but he doesnβt know if he has the guts to kill someone. He believes he isnβt going to make it back to his family, and with his older sister, who does nothing but torment him, he almost doesnβt want too. His parents died at a young age, leaving him with her. He just wants to go home, but knows nothing but pain, yet always makes sure to help someone else first.Female:Harper Eisenhower - 15 - District 7 - boragesky
Harper is a tall, thin light-skinned girl with brown hair with bleached ends, long legs, and green eyes. Harper is painfully, and I mean painfully shy. But she's got good morals, and is one of the greater half of the people in her district. Because she's so shy, some even wondered if she was great at lumber-jacking. However, she proved them all by clearing out multiple trees within a week. This made her get voted for the reaping, and that made her a little more confident. But she's still painfully shy. Unfortunately, she is very prone to sicknesses due to a genetic common in her family that weakens their immune system. It isn't fun. She's one of four siblings, and she's the oldest. Her three younger brothers are a lot more rowdy than her. It was hard for her family to figure out where she got her shyness from, but eventually found out it was passed down from her grandmother, which was one of the only people Harper was comfortable speaking to as if she wasn't shy at all. Harper is a lesbian. District 8 Male:
Klein has a young, attractive face, with freckles dusting his pale cheeks and shoulders. He has kind, hazel eyes and wavy ginger hair that he often keeps styled out of his face. Having recently hit his growth spurt, Klein is already 5'8" in height and looks like he'll grow taller as he gets older. Growing up, Klein has always been a quiet kid who likes to keep to himself. He is patient, careful with his words, and hates confrontation, yet somehow possesses natural leadership skills. Klein has been known to be a good person who usually has a kind thing to say to just about anyone. He tries to be helpful and is often picking up his schoolmates' shift at the factory when they can't. Not particularly skilled in any combat or weapons, he does know his way with a needle and has always been a hard worker. Klein started working at one of the factories when he was 11 in order to help support his parents and 4 other siblings. He is the middle child of two older sisters and two younger brothers. He's always tried to keep out of trouble, his only focus being school and work. He'll be shocked come reaping day to find out that his district voted him as their tribute.
Female:
Abigail (Abbie) Pennington - 16 - District 8 - boragesky Abigail Pennington is pretty average for her age, being 5'9. She has dark brown skin and black, long curly hair; her eyes are an unusual blue, which is irregular and often catches people off-guard. Her hands have little cuts from needles. She's often seen wearing a soft-textured purple dress with black socks and shoes. She has been very skillful in sewing clothes, and dreams about becoming a proper fashionista and runway model. In terms of behavior, she's rather well-mannered despite rumors, and she's kinda sassy but overall a joy on the best days. She'd been working with her rather small family with their clothing business for a while, and she's really just a girl. Nothing's special about her except that she's pretty creative, but then one day she's put into the reaping, clueless. Who knows how this will go. She has dyscalcula. District 9 Male:Silas Prince - 16 - District 9 -πHollyleafπ
Silas is tall and muscular with light brown hair and hazel eyes. He has several nicks and scars on his hands and arms from accidents on the job, but he likes to show them off with pride, he thinks it makes him look tougher. Silas is cocky, arrogant and kind of an asshole. He is convinced that girls love him and that he will win the games based on his skill with an axe and overall strength. He is also the type of guy to always think he's the smartest person in the room. When he talks to other people - especially girls - he tends to be condescending and rude. Unlike other people who may have a hard exterior - Silas doesn't soften up the deeper you get. He's just a douche from top to bottom and he knows that about himself, and is okay with it. Silas began working when he was 10 years old on a farm that is "owned" by his family - by that, it means they tend the farm and the Capital gets all the profits. He is proficient with plows and farming equipment of the sort. More handheld weapons he is capable with would be pitchforks or sickles (or any curved blade that could be similar to sickles). Silas is actually very samrt - though he isn't as smart as he thinks he is - and knows how to benefit off the land for survival due to his upbringing. This may or may not be helpful in the Games. Silas' mother died when he was 11 from a sickness that she refused to get treated for. He has six older brothers - who are all past the age of reaping. He has three younger sisters who he cares for very much.Female:Esther Moss - 17 - District 9 - Dew
Esther is a girl of average height with long legs and wavy dirty blonde hair that's usually a mess. She has pretty brown eyes with gold flecks and a smattering of freckles across her nose and shoulders. She works in one of the grain factories alongside other women, and she travels an hour every day on foot to get to and from work for little pay. She lives in a decently sized house for her family, but they work hard to make ends meet. She has two older siblings and two younger siblings, each of them employed in some way. Her brothers work in the fields while her mother and sister work in the same factory as Esther. She is very responsible and sometimes works cleaning some of the wealthier houses on her day off to make more money. Although she's frightened down to her core by the games, she sees it as an opportunity to help her family. If she wins they'll be able to live a better life, and if she loses there is a chance the district will take care of them, at least long enough to get them back on their feet. District 10 Male:
Peter Turnbull - 18 - District 10 - polarized Peter is your normal farm boy, but he has his own farm under his responsibility. His father left him, and the farm, to take care of. Heβs older than the rest of the reapers, but that only gives him more experience. He has dark ginger hair, and freckles that sprinkle the rest of his face. Heβs average height, but he is incredibly good with building anything from scratch, or some ropework which would be required for the games. He doesnβt really care about order, or being a good person, so heβs kinda just chillinβ. He seems overprotective, but thatβs just because he doesnβt have any family left, and is very close to the animals on his farm, so heβs talented with them. He knows he wonβt make it back from the games, but is ready to put his own life on the line for the younger district 10βs female, since he feels bad for her and knows that he hasnβt got anything back home to return too.
Female: Rebekah Lynn (Becca) - 14 - District 10 - Dew Rebekah Lynn is a small girl with raven hair and chestnut eyes. She is a fast runner and rather skinny, due to her family not being very wealthy. She works alongside her mother feeding and caring for the livestock before their meat is harvested and sent to the capital, so she knows quite a bit about animals and their habits. Outside of work, Rebekah is rather outgoing and friendly, and she hangs out with a group of girls around her age on their day off. She lives in a rundown house with her father, mother, brother, and sister. An average looking girl, Penny has olive toned skin with long, straight brown hair and face framing bangs. She has big brown eyes and an unassuming face. Not particularly tall, Penny stands at about 5'4" but she seems shorter. A modest and traditional girl, Penny can often seem indifferent towards others, but really she's just careful about whose side she's taking. Overall, she is easy-going, intuitive, and quite a devoted person. Despite being overall pretty average, Penny has a quiet fiereness hidden behind her bashful appearance. She is the only daughter to the mayor of Distrct 12 and her mother died when she was five years old. Being the mayor's daughter, even if it doesn't mean much in her district, she's used to the spotlight but tries to avoid it as much as possible. Penny knows how she's supposed to act in public, and while she's encouraged to make many friends, she's been warned to never make enemies. So, she's always been careful of her appearance. Not very strong, Penny has at least had some self defense training, but she excels in traditional healing with herbs and the little resources found in her district. She's often sneaking around to the workers compound to heal the miners, and sells medicine for trade at The Hob. |

Non-Tribute Characters The Training Center -- This year, they are unveiling the brand new Training Center for all the tributes. Since the 11th Games, the tributes have had several different places they have stayed before the games while the Capital worked on a permanent solution. The last ten years have been dedicated to creating and building a Training Center from scratch. This new Center has top of the line features. There are 14 floors - including a floor for each District(with District 12 getting the very top floor), the Lobby, and the Training Facility below ground. The rooftops are accessible by tributes or other members of the District teams to go and overlook the Capital during their stay! The kitchens are staffed with state of the art technology and experienced chefs and each District floor will be assigned their very own Avoxes! Silas is tall and muscular with light brown hair and hazel eyes. He has several nicks and scars on his hands and arms from accidents on the job, but he likes to show them off with pride, he thinks it makes him look tougher. Silas is cocky, arrogant and kind of an asshole. He is convinced that girls love him and that he will win the games based on his skill with an axe and overall strength. He is also the type of guy to always think he's the smartest person in the room. When he talks to other people - especially girls - he tends to be condescending and rude. Unlike other people who may have a hard exterior - Silas doesn't soften up the deeper you get. He's just a douche from top to bottom and he knows that about himself, and is okay with it. Silas began working when he was 10 years old on a farm that is "owned" by his family - by that, it means they tend the farm and the Capital gets all the profits. He is proficient with plows and farming equipment of the sort. More handheld weapons he is capable with would be pitchforks or sickles (or any curved blade that could be similar to sickles). Silas is actually very samrt - though he isn't as smart as he thinks he is - and knows how to benefit off the land for survival due to his upbringing. This may or may not be helpful in the Games. Silas' mother died when he was 11 from a sickness that she refused to get treated for. He has six older brothers - who are all past the age of reaping. He has three younger sisters who he cares for very much.
Cordelia is a small, lithe girl with medium blonde hair that reachers her shoulder-blades and green eyes. She is from District 4 but she isn't really a great fisherman. Cordelia prefers the netting over spearing or the tridents. She is smart and quiet, but will stand up for herself when she needs to. She is the daughter of one of the previous Victors of District 4 - a victor that the district mostly despises because of his bad attitude and the way he spiraled after returning from the games. This is why she is selected as the tribute - out of pure spite for her father. Coredelia doesn't know much aside from the things that are important to her district - saltwater, fish, water plants - but about those things she is could teach anybody. She is an excellent knot-tier and can start a fire if she has the right materials. Cordelia's mother is still alive but she moved out of the Victor's Village five years ago, because she couldn't stand to live with Cordelia's father anymore. He is still a raging alcoholic (he uses it to cope with the trauma) and has been known to put his hands on both his ex-wife and his daughter. Cordelia spends as much time away from home as she can, and at one time she begged to move in with her mother - but the District officials wouldn't allow it. So, instead, Cordelia spends most of her day at school or with her mom and then goes home only at nights. Though she is a clear victim of abuse, it hasn't made her see herself that way. She is quiet and mostly avoids confrontation, but she is a strong willed girl. She has two half-siblings that are her mother's kids - they are twins and are three years old.

Mason is a big guy, but heβs soft at the heart. Heβs like a massive teddy bear, but if that same teddy bear could wield an axe. Being raised in District 7, he has been working with an axe since he was very young. Heβs massive for his age, and muscular, but he has never needed to resort to violence. He is always there to give someone a big bear hug, too. He has long, brown hair, and a small childish beard. He was never popular in his district, until his older sister told his strength to some of her friends when he had pushed down a full tree when he was just 13, and before he knew it, he was being remembered by the full district. He was voted at the reaping, to represent his district, but he doesnβt know if he has the guts to kill someone. He believes he isnβt going to make it back to his family, and with his older sister, who does nothing but torment him, he almost doesnβt want too. His parents died at a young age, leaving him with her. He just wants to go home, but knows nothing but pain, yet always makes sure to help someone else first.
Alyssa, is a sneaky and medium height girl, with sage green eyes and black hair. She was trained from a young age from her distinct skill set, of speed and her confidence with a weapon. She has since specialised in her district when they chose her, and they happily voted her for the reaping. She believes nothing can stop her from getting what she wants. Sheβs quiet, but manipulative. She wants everyone to do what she wants, without playing a part in it. She might not say anything, but a fair warning, sheβs darn good with a bow. She comes from a famous family, with her mother being an old winner of the games, who also used a bow. She wants to make her district proud, and be good enough for her motherβs standards. She has two younger brothers, two crazy little guys, but she would do anything to keep the two of them safe. Her cockiness can be seen as arrogance, and can set her back. Her age also makes her vulnerable, but her district has trained her well, and her bite is stronger than her bark.

Daniel Mcintyre - 17 - District 5 - Dew Daniel Mcintyre is a tall boy with a rather muscular build. He is dark-skinned with messy brown hair and deep green eyes. Daniel is what some would call a closed-book. He doesn't have many close relationships and doesn't talk to people not in his family outside of his work. He lives with his mother in the center of town, and while it is a possibility that he could move out in the coming months, he doesn't plan on it, instead wanting to support his mother after Daniel's fathers and sisters deaths a few years prior. He is naturally protective but guarded, and doesn't open up to anyone other than his mother. It was suspected he was voted for because he isn't close to anyone, but some do think he has a fighting chance.
Rebekah Lynn (Becca) - 14 - District 10 - Dew
Rebekah Lynn is a small girl with raven hair and chestnut eyes. She is a fast runner and rather skinny, due to her family not being very wealthy. She works alongside her mother feeding and caring for the livestock before their meat is harvested and sent to the capital, so she knows quite a bit about animals and their habits. Outside of work, Rebekah is rather outgoing and friendly, and she hangs out with a group of girls around her age on their day off. She lives in a rundown house with her father, mother, brother, and sister. Abigail (Abbie) Pennington - 16 - District 8 - boragesky Abigail Pennington is pretty average for her age, being 5'9. She has dark brown skin and black, long curly hair; her eyes are an unusual blue, which is irregular and often catches people off-guard. Her hands have little cuts from needles. She's often seen wearing a soft-textured purple dress with black socks and shoes. She has been very skillful in sewing clothes, and dreams about becoming a proper fashionista and runway model. In terms of behavior, she's rather well-mannered despite rumors, and she's kinda sassy but overall a joy on the best days. She'd been working with her rather small family with their clothing business for a while, and she's really just a girl. Nothing's special about her except that she's pretty creative, but then one day she's put into the reaping, clueless. Who knows how this will go. She has dyscalcula. Oliver Porter - 13 - District 4 - borageskyOliver Porter is a small, 4'10 boy with short, soft-boy styled short dirty blonde hair. He has tan skin, and wide green eyes. He's often seen wearing a patterned vest above his fleeced white shirt, and dark brown pants. He's a shy boy, oftentimes never speaking and often hiding away, but his true self is one intelligent kid. He's pretty great at doing things, like writing and reading, and funnily enough claims to have read the entirety of Oliver Twist. But if there's anything else he likes more than reading, it's fishing in the lakes. He loves fishing, and fishes every day like it's as important as consuming food and water. He was raised by a large family, with siblings ranging to around 7. He has 6 older siblings, and one younger sibling. Peter Turnbull - 18 - District 10 - polarized Peter is your normal farm boy, but he has his own farm under his responsibility. His father left him, and the farm, to take care of. Heβs older than the rest of the reapers, but that only gives him more experience. He has dark ginger hair, and freckles that sprinkle the rest of his face. Heβs average height, but he is incredibly good with building anything from scratch, or some ropework which would be required for the games. He doesnβt really care about order, or being a good person, so heβs kinda just chillinβ. He seems overprotective, but thatβs just because he doesnβt have any family left, and is very close to the animals on his farm, so heβs talented with them. He knows he wonβt make it back from the games, but is ready to put his own life on the line for the younger district 10βs female, since he feels bad for her and knows that he hasnβt got anything back home to return too.
