Oh BTW, I draw on a computer touchpad, which is why the art can be a little wonky in some areas... I beg humbly for you're forgiveness... I can't afford a Ipad (〒/\〒)

That's a lot more patience than I'd ever have!
If you're still working on a holiday gift list, maybe you can ask for a wacom tablet. They're super cheap to start with (50-80$ for most starter models) and wacom tablets live FOREVER (I've had mine for over 10 years and never had an issue with it). They do take a little time to get used to, but imo they are really intuitive. They even make bluetooth models now, but idk how good those work compared to the wired ones.

Question- is it a tablet meant solely for drawing? I don't know if my parents will let me get a a actua knew device without like essays and limitations ECT... Also, does it have a pen? (that's a weird question, )

They look like this! The more expensive ones have screens, but the starter models are just lil black pressure pads. Basically like a big mousepad, but they are pressure-sensitive so it reacts like a pencil would on paper. You have to have it plugged into a computer, it does nothing on its own. It's just an input device like a mouse is: the surface of the tablet is 1:1 with the computer monitor and anything drawn on its surface is mirrored onto the computer screen. You have to have a drawing program + use the pen that comes with it for it to work properly. There are a few buttons at the top that you can bind to keys to help workflow (I just ignore them and use my keyboard) You have to be a bit careful with the cord if you're transporting it around a lot, but the medium model is about the size of a notebook and lots of kids at my high school brought them to school to take notes in class, since you can use the surface to write by hand instead of typing.

Oh, that's better than a separate device! I'll have to look into that.

as someone who uses a wacom for art class, i can also confirm they're really good (the pen is amazing and just glides across the surface), and it takes a little bit of getting use to hand eye coordination, but its an absolutely amazing device

I did find a graphic tablet in my basement, but its more complicated than I thought lol. Right now, I think I'll keep the Wacom in mind, and focus on getting better at drawing in general.

I'd suggest a name, but I don't know many Nordic ones off the top of my head that aren't HTTYD characters lol

I'm 90% sure that was most of the inspo lol. Also yeah, Nordic names are hard without just going like "Ooh Stoick would be a cool name---oh right -_-" I'm thinking something like Falk, Scalden or Ragnarok though.
