So I've been trying to make a Table of Contents like section for a thread, and I can't figure out for sure if it's possible to create clickable links to a post within a thread.
I know there's a way to link to individual posts, but when it's clicked it opens up a new tab. I'm looking for a way to be able to click on a link and have the page automatically scroll down to the appropriate post with no new tabs.
For example, if you made something like:
1. Post 1 2. Post 2 3. Post 3 4. Post 4
and someone clicked on Post 3, the page would just scroll down to Post 3. I can't find a definitive answer on if it's possible or not.
I found a possible way to make anchors within a single post, but that's about it.

Thanks, I'll try that in a few hours toothless. I don't want to mess with it on my phone.
Also, thanks for the advice winter. I tried both of the links in the click down option ans they both open up a new tab, and I'm trying to avoid that.
