Hello! As the title says, I'm searching for a 1x1 roleplay partner. I'm new to roleplaying in forums, especially this one, so forgive me if I seem clueless. :,)
Rules:
- I'd like for you to use a female OC (mostly to open the doors to a shameless "Who's the father?" plotline later on, lol).
- I'm looking for a semi-lit to lit roleplay partner. I don't expect novels (or even paragraphs) of text with every response, but I would like for you to write a reasonable amount.
- If you're interested, I'd prefer to RP in a DM.
What to Expect:
- Lots of shameless forbidden love tropes.
- Clan politics galore, clan drama, and plenty of fighting. We'll likely make/use a lot of OCs for this, so we'll have to keep track somehow.
- Violence, and lots of it. If you're not too keen on gore and the like, this won't be for you.
- I'm fine with using canon clans or making up new ones.
- I like my roleplays to be as planned as possible. Feel free to stop and suggest a story beat, plot point, or scene anytime! And when we're stuck, it's best we pause and decide where to go from there so as not to get bored. RP's are fresh when you know where you're going.
The clans have ignited an all-out war.
In the longest and harshest leaf-bare they have ever faced, even the slightest tension leads to fierce battles, causing the clans to abandon the warrior code in a violent free-for-all.
Awoken by an ambush, you witness everything being torn apart: prey and herbs are stolen and destroyed, cats you’ve known since your nursery days are injured, and both the leader and deputy are slaughtered before your eyes. With his dying breath, the leader names you as his successor, leaving behind a bloody aftermath.
To make matters worse, your clan dismisses this revelation entirely. They call you weak, unfit to lead, and far too inexperienced, begrudgingly listening to your orders while whispering behind your back.
With no one to turn to for comfort, you find yourself near Twolegplace one night to clear your mind, where you meet a uniquely adventurous Kittypet. You know as well as any cat that the code forbids such relationships, but finally getting a breath of fresh air makes it all too tempting...

My OC: Fatale Fatale is a young tom living in Twolegplace. With a smooth white and orange pelt, a green collar, and a notable lack of scars, he's the poster boy of a devil-may-care Kittypet. But don't let his appearance fool you: he lingers by the wildcat borders despite his neighbourhood's warnings, a confident soul till the end. And while he won't fight, he won't run away either.

Just curious more.
So the war is still ongoing for the clans or things have shifted and now it’s picking up the pieces basically?
And is the kittypet going to join the clans eventually or will the clan cat leave the clans?
Or will they just “break up” ultimately?

The war is still ongoing and has been for a while now, but (somewhat) older characters would still remember a time before the war, so it hasn't been too long.
Hmm... I guess that depends on how the RP goes. I think it'd be interesting to have both parties try and visit one another for as long as possible until they simply can't anymore. For the sake of it being interesting, though, the kittypet eventually joining the clans (or at least becoming a rogue/loner) would be best.

Okay. So the clans are at war with each other. But you did say they basically have abandoned a warrior code and are acting as bands of rogues, right? So they still “follow” a leader - more or less - but the rest of the warrior code is kind of out the window. Like everyone feeds themselves, fends for themselves?
And so atp the leader will be making battle plans for next moves and defenses?
Sorry I’m just trying to wrap my head around so I can feel confident that I can pull this off lmao.

Basically, they'd follow the code very loosely, like still having a leader, ceremonies, living in a camp, and maybe even feeding Elders and Queens first - but they don't meet at Gatherings (or if they do the truce is ignored), they won't bother helping abandoned kits, they hunt on each other's territories, and they're fine with killing and playing dirty in battle. Basically, their morals are out the window more than anything. But I do think certain clans basically acting like rogues would be interesting to have.
And whoever is leader after the death of the last leader can do whatever they want, it depends on the cat. If they wanna plan a counterattack, focus on getting herbs and prey, or even move camps entirely, they can.
