F is actually criminal i hate everything about it

how does one choose between L and E…. Both suck

People are hating on specific plugs, and I just chose one randomly. XD

used by a strange assortment of countries but primarily Oceania (Australia, NZ, Samoa, Fiji, etc.), China, and some South American countries (El Salvador)

ummmmmmmm hmm. in my unprofessional non expert opinion, i think out of these the ones i dislike most are L, A, F, and C. i'm actually going to vote out A. here's my reasoning.

since there's only 2 prongs, that's only 2 points of contact and so it's easier for it to fall out. if it had 3 points of contact, esp in a triangular form instead of being in a straight line, it would be way harder for it to just fall out of the wall or come loose. you may argue that it coming loose is better than it being stuck in the wall, but 1) i don't think these other ones would likely get stuck in the wall, and 2) i believe it's more dangerous for it to come loose. you can turn off the power at the surge protector or the breaker if you realize your outlet is stuck, but you likely won't even notice if it's coming loose unless you specifically bend down and look. and, from my knowledge, having a loose outlet cord is kinda like turning a light switch to half way. you're making the electricity jump from one contact point to the other, which is dangerous bc iirc the arc can jump to other things or shock you if it's at just the right distance, and it also causes more damage to the outlet/switch (it's been a while since i refreshed my memory on this so take that with a grain of salt).

not only does the straight line make it easier for it to fall out, but also the fact that. ok. i'm pretty sure this prong system is only used in america but i may be wrong. americans, ever notice how so many of these 2 prong cables like type A aren't differential in size? like they'll just be the same size on both sides? which means one side is fitting looser into the outlet than the other? what's up with that? why do they do that??? i also feel like the rectangular ones, just based on my experiences with aux cords vs usb cords, the aux cord usually doesn't fall out as easily and i feel like the shape has something to do with that. so many times i've dropped my phone and caught it by the charger cord and it fell out, but if i catch it by the aux cord it doesn't fall out. completely arbitrary and anecdotal evidence but oh well.

anyways now i'm gonna look up videos on this to see how i'm wrong LMAO
